it's basically 'the oscars' for games and the oscars is always kind of bullshit so like...don't put your hopes and dreams on your favorite indy game winning, it's always going to be the mcdonald's game, mass appeal.
IDK...I think the oscars are way more legit than this shit show and pay more deserved attention to the indie side of things....but none of this matters because suckers will suck and keep watching it even though they hate it
well at least the oscars is actually voted on by the people who make movies (the industry blowing itself), so the Jeff's are actually much, much worse. No one cares about it except that its sort of a mini-E3 in terms of announcements, the Jeff and company know this well.
most anticipated game lmao. So we needed another category. Like what is this supoposed to tell me? There is no reason to make an award for something like that.
so many of these games were included in multiple categories... like it's bad enough the "game of the year" nominations are awful... they couldn't even include the dozens of other games that weren't named, in the other categories. award shows need to be cancelled.
Hi Nefas, I only care about game announcements and games coming down the pike. Maybe new equipment and controller announcements. The game awards part is a joke imo. Thanks for your content as always.
i was laughing at the game awards last year when they put Cyberpunk in the "Best Ongoing" Category. i asked ppl online and private and nobody understood why Cyberpunk was in there. i dont know much about "No Mans Sky" and never played it but i do know that they worked hard to improve the game over time, so i thought that No Mans Sky should have won, if its really "Awarded to a game for outstanding development of ongoing content that evolves the player experience over time." i mean, you can correct me if im wrong or disagree, but i still think that Cyberpunk should not have been in this category.
@@Ghorda9 yes, but No Man's Sky has been getting new game mechanics, improvements and bug fixes since 2016. One DLC for Cyberpunk shouldn't be enough. No matter how big it is. 🤔
It's actually pretty make sense. There're no games that can't match the Elden Ring atmosphere and the DLC is really masterpiece. Besides, all the games that released in 2024 mostly easily forgotten

I been saying that for years....

it's because of the large dlc it got last year.

Lol "Refantanzio" at 5:30. What TGA intern spell-checked these titles. Complete joke.
Extremely mid selection compared to the last two years.
Wait, so ESO was not the Game of the Year?
