I had a little coin purse as a little girl and it had a little chain, like a Keychain chain on the side, so maybe the loop is for a Keychain ??? The coin purse is adorable Kristen ❤❤❤ Santa

I have a couple of those clasp thingies. I had one when I was a kid, it was bright orange made with plastic like material. I think I have a crochet pattern and it looks like a frog. The clasp is the mouth. I got it on Ravelry. I had no clue it could be made that quickly. My Gram had a little black one too. Had it full of change. MW had Rudolph I think.
That little hook at the top should be for a strap to hook onto the frame. I'm surprised there's not a second one on the other side of the clasp. I wonder if the designer was aware of the function of it...??? Maybe the model they were looking at had one side broken off? QOTD: Monkey Ward??? Yes, I remember them... Good morning Amy! I said the same thing for a long strap. When she bought it she picked up the first one on the shelf. We will have to look when we go back to see if they are all like that. We don't go to Hobby Lobby often so it may be awhile, but I'll try to remember to check. Going to HL is an hour drive so I avoid it as much as possible 😂
