Regine has a great voice, her voice has changed and she should sing in accordance to her current voice especially when its not in a good conditoon. Dapat may bagong arrangement na sakto sa boses ni Regine ngayon at ma highlight yung richness, fullness, sweetness and velvety tones nya na walang harshness o raspiness. Bongga ang birit ni Regine pag nasa kondisyon sya, pero kung wala sa kondisyon ang boses its best to highlight her other vocal abilities, may strength ang headtones nya, dreamy ang low notes nya. Maganda i highlight un kaht walang birit. As long as maganda ang arrangement, magiging maganda ang new lower but dramatic version ng Written in the Sand and other songs na mga birit songs nya. Look at her Low Key alb, ang ganda ang dreamy and full of emotions kahit less birits. Or like Lea Salonga, yung mga bonggang opm birit songs ni Regine like Sana Maulit Muli is arranged without birit pero very beautiful ang arrangement ng song na yun na bagay kay Lea. Same with Regine's current voice, she can highlight the strength of her beautiful falsettos, soft singing and big voice pero not as high as before. Regine is versatile, and she should use this versatility in showcasing new arrangements suited to her current voice. As a Queen, napatunayan na nya sarili nya. As a singer, maganda pa rin na kumanta sya with a beautiful voice for EVERYONE including non-fans. Kasi ang die hard fans anjan na kahit hindi kondisyon ang boses, pero ung mga non-fans ng singers, nakikinig sila sa boses ng singers and not just the presence. Regine loves to sing and continues to sing kasi she said she want to share her gift(talent of singing) to everyone(fans and non-fans). So, all singers, legendary famous singers and new singers should still give the best and beauty of their voice and interpret the beauty of the song for EVERYONE, THE AUDIENCE, THE WORLD (fans and non fans) to enjoy and love the voice of the singer and the interpretation of a song.

She can still belt kahit malapit na siyang mag-senior citizen. Malapit na siyang mag-54 this 2024 kaya expected na mag-iiba na talaga yung timbre and her stamina because of her age. Pero yung ibang singers, local man or international, nasa 30s palang nahihirapan ng bumirit, what more kung umabot pa sila ng 50s like Regine? Hindi ito mga regular or go to songs niya kagaya ng daldalhin or araw gabi na kinakanta niya sa mga events, so hindi nka adapt sa pagbabago ng boses nya. Kasi kung hitting high notes lang kayang kaya parin naman. Kaya ngang ma hit ang g5 or g#5 sa ASAP. Unpopular opinion.
It would have been best if she just sang the whole song of Written in the Sand because she excluded the second stanza and not did the medley with Go the Distance. And since she did the medley, sana sa last part she sang again the chorus of Written in the Sand and had the choir do the Go the Distance. Parang siya tuloy naging back up sa last part dahil sa lyrics.
She did really well sa Written in the Sand prior to Go the Distance for her age and since alam na ng team niya na they will be participating for New Years Countdown since November 25, Raul coudl’ve just made a new arrangement with a choirly effect for Written of the Sand instead of the medley with Go the Distance. Tribute effect na sana nasayang pa tuloy. Artistry on this part slightly slipped.
Notice the performance of her Crazy for you, the camera angles were crazily good. Nung time na ng Written in the Sand, walang ka art art yung camera angles. Wala man lang aerial angles.
She should’ve stayed with her Solo setlist more like Crazy for you rather than her Regine Rocks setlist dahil that made her voice crack. She uses so much twang with her vowels most especially sa mid belts niya which easily cracks due to AR. Notice it and when she builds with soft tones and her usual nasal way of singing to belting, less ang cracks kasi it’s not early triggering the AR cracks. Solo Concert proved that.
Vocally, Regine is no doubt but in this age of hers dapat more on artistry sa arrangement and camera angles din sana.
Calm down guys. Her tone is the same. She's just tired and probably did not rehearse because it's still easy for her to hit high notes on ASAP and her other concerts. So she just needed more practice. Reading the comments is just sad. Why is it when Mariah Celine Kelly or Christina sound raspy or give poor performances, no one hates on them. At least Regine is giving her all and singing live. Let's see others do the same in a 36+ year career #QueenRegine songbird for life ❤❤❤
