Manghang mangha un teacher ko kay Regine,tuwang tuwa pati sya na sa dami ng pwedeng mapili na kumanta nito sa taas ng Manila Peninsula eh si Regine ang napili. Sabi pa nya sa amin tama yun kasi yun boses ni Regine ay kaya daw umabot hanggang langit..para marinig daw ni God un lahat ng hangarin,panalangin at pasasalamat ng mga tao sa Panginoon sa pagpasok ng bagong Milenyo.
I am one of the students who sang with Regine at The Peninsula Manila. I am proud that I was shown and seen several times in this video. I was in the middle the 3boys standing behind the Ayala Avenue St. sign. This video of Regine’s Written in the sand was taped sometime the last week of October 1999 and to be broadcasted worldwide at the countdown of the Millenium Celebration. The memory is still fresh in my mind which I will treasure forever for being a part of this great history 🥰🥰🥰

Ok I'm gonna call flat out... This might just be the single greatest television broadcast in history... to think that this all happend live is mind blowing. From her outfit, her gesture and her voice.. to the children, the camera angles and even the sight of the hotel itself... everything just screams perfection
Her outfit is really fashioned-well but in the ending, there's a problem....I think her high voice is not really clean for her but the song in the middle of the ending is quite very good.
Whatever about Regine, she is the singer should be able to sing with her appropriate volume without hurting themselves. Singing too loud should never be an issue for her. ... When Regine sings too loud for what they can do at her moment, then she's risk “blowing out” her voice which does not feel good and does not sound good as her I guess.
I see that her vocal muscles have a maximum volume that they can handle at any given moment before they start to malfunction. I can think of this like a smaller stereo sound system versus a larger one. The smaller system normally has a point where if I turn the volume up too high, there is static and crackling and a risk of blowing the speakers out. Now, when she having a larger and often more expensive system, the speakers can handle more volume without crackling and getting upset.

I was there when they taped it luckily i was able to watch that passing by only that night i was 11 yearsold with my aunt. I already had a feeling that night that ms. Regines performance will be a very big event! And i was right it was broadcast all around the world! And to think we are really amaze how she was able to get up there and able to sing in all her glory that is so up high!! Imagine guys they are one with the thousands who performed and watch by billions of people across the world! And now that I'm watching this video uploaded, I don't know but my tears have fallen. Very touchy and very inspiring. These song is very one of a kind. This might just be the single greatest television broadcast in history... to think that this all happend live is mind blowing. From her outfit, her gesture and her voice.. to the children, the camera angles and even the sight of the hotel itself... everything just screams perfection
Her outfit is really fashioned-well but in the ending, there's a problem....I think her high voice is not really clean for her but the song in the middle of the ending is quite very good.
Whatever about Regine, she is the singer should be able to sing with her appropriate volume without hurting themselves. Singing too loud should never be an issue for her. ... When Regine sings too loud for what they can do at her moment, then she's risk “blowing out” her voice which does not feel good and does not sound good as her I guess.
I see that her vocal muscles have a maximum volume that they can handle at any given moment before they start to malfunction. I can think of this like a smaller stereo sound system versus a larger one. The smaller system normally has a point where if I turn the volume up too high, there is static and crackling and a risk of blowing the speakers out. Now, when she having a larger and often more expensive system, the speakers can handle more volume without crackling and getting upset.

Ahhhh, it must have been a wonderful feeling. I havw goosebumps thinking about how significant the new millenium was and how grand the celebration was through out the world. I was born 2 years into the new millenium and didn't got to witness how humanity has reached new heights, flourished as one race and achieved the once seemingly unachievable feats at the last years of the previous millenium.
