Thanks so much. You have improved my language skills, just 4month in Finland and i could communicate and some persons couldn't believe it. Kiitos paljon ja olen illoinen.
What?! They were supposed to release that ages ago and then I though it got postponed till the end of the year, I must give it a try! Thanks for letting me know.
You just killed me with YÖ. I remember myself saying hyvää yötä and yes, as my friends looked at my lips they were like: "what's the problem with your lips?" I find your videos very useful because I can clearly see how you pronounce. Still, nobody can tell me if my A and Ä are correct. Should anybody know a Finnish learning community I will be very happy. Anyways, thank you so much Katya!
Hahaha xD I do have a facebook community (the link is in the description box) and I think they've also set up a discord community amongst themselves too if you use either of those.
Moi Katja! Minä olen Jude😁 I loved your series on type 1 verbs and would love it if you could do a few more videos for type 2-6 verbs😁 I found those lessons TODELLA useful!
I think you can use the nominatiivi case when you're saying when to meet (at one etc.) "Tavataan kello kaksi Rautatientorilla". At least it's not uncommon to hear it in puhekieli.
Yes, especially in the spoken language the nominative case is sometimes possible: Tavataan kello kaks / Millon tavataan? - Puol kaks. (But never: Millon tavataan? - Kaks.) In the formal language this is also possible especially when answering with only the time expression: Milloin tapaamme? - Tapaamme puoli kahdelta. / Puoli kaksi.
Well this one in particular (minus getting notes + filming) took maybe 3.5-4 hours from the start of editing to uploading to youtube. And kiitos paljon!
Kiva... Hi aam. Have a question! When you tell something like when we are meeting or what time is it. Is it with different pronunciation. Like yhdelta and time is tasan yksi.! Hoped made some sense for you to understand.
German subtitles now available!
How to activate subtitles?

Aww that's so lovely to hear, I'm so glad :)
Finally a reason for not only learning partitiivi - thank you
Kiitos Kat... Have you heard that Duolingo started offering Finnish? I'd appreciate hearing your review. Thanks again for your informative videos
Oh yes I've heard! I can def take a look at it if people are interested :)

U are a great teacher!!
I like night, I think that so far my most favourite Finnish words are: aurinko, lohikäärmehedelmä, and yö :)
Lohikäärmehedelmä sure is a cool word!!
Great video as always

You are the best
That was great
Kiitos samoi
How would be the midday and the midnight? Maybe you want to meet to have a meal or to have a party
Midday = keskipäivä & midnight = keskiyö
How long does it usually take you to upload a video with all the subtitle editing etc. Great video as always.
Well this one in particular (minus getting notes + filming) took maybe 3.5-4 hours from the start of editing to uploading to youtube. And kiitos paljon!
Princess!
Hei Kiitos, Ystäväni opiskelee Suomen kieltä. 😆

Yhdeltä and tasan yksi means the same thing, if that was what you were asking? :)
@@KatChatsFinnish yes sort of. Thanks :-)
Aamupäivä in German is „Forenoon“ or „Before mid-day“ 😂✌🏻Our languages are maybe a bit too exact. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
Can I use instead of Milloin in the question Kun. What's the difference between them?
Kun means more like "when", so if you say "kun me tavataan" = "when we meet", it's more of a statement rather than a question :)
I told my German collegue "I'll see you later". He asked me what time
Just hit the like button and subscribe to your channel for this video
Thank you so much! :)
Monelta nähdään?
Hyvä
If I want to say “lets meet at 5pm”, tavataan klo 5 illalla or 5 iltapaivalla?
I’d personally use illalla :)
I really need more explanation
i think that( 12- 18 ) pm should be paiva not ilta
rakastan sinua 💙
Kiitus, beautiful girl!
Pl
Do Finns not have a word for noon?
I guess keskipäivä would be "noon" meaning middle day, but it's used less than the English noon word
yes It is "keskipäivä" I use it a lot :)
tavataan ensi aamuna! Tavataan ensi viikolla! Tavataan ensi vuonna!😂
Cute.
U are a great teacher!!
Kiitos!
