- THE HIGH PRIESTESS TAROT CARD EXPLAINED
She's a quiet, withdrawn archetype but don't let looks deceive you. Beneath that exterior is a power we can barely imagine!!
When the High Priestess shows up in a spread she's telling us to trust our instincts and our gut feelings. She also telling us to look inside for answers.
Reversed can mean moving to more extroverted ways of living but can also mean losing touch with our inner selves.

I realise that these videos might really be only of interest to a small niche of people interested in the esoteric, but eventhough, this series is ciminally underviewed - especially consiering the absolute skill of all involved in putting these videos together - each element form the animations, to the music, the 'silly' voices and the 'silly' photos and the editing are absolute genius and put most of everythign else I have seen on youtube and standard 'high production cost' media outlets to shame. You certainly know your craft. Thanks
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it! I partly started this channel to educate myself on the occult but it does seem to be growing, despite all the toilet humour & slapstick! Hopefully it'll get out there & find anyone that needs it ⛤
I absolutely love your video. Having ADHD I need these kinds of teaching videos. I have not only learned a lot, but the videos make me laugh.
@tamarathomason9620 thank you so much, I'm glad you like them 😊⛤

Thank you so much! More incompetent occult knowledge coming your way!! ☆
Amazing 👍👍👏👏👏hats off to your efforts!!
Thank you 🙏☆
My favorite card, hands down, and this was both illuminating and entertaining at the same time! This is not a card that I associate much with humor, but you brought some life to it in that spirit. Loved this -- I subscribed.
Thank you so much for subscribing and commenting, I really appreciate it! It's definitely one of my favourites too 🃏☆

The High priestess is the "yin" of the deck, the Magician is the
"yang". They can also be considered as the wave/particle aspect of light in physics.
I'm going through these one by one and taking notes. I really want to learn the Tarot! Thank you so much! Hopefully I don't annoy you by commenting on every card! Much Love! 💜💚🤗
That's great! Thank you so much, I've learned a lot myself by making these videos so they're kinda like my notes too! I'm always delighted to get comments so feel free! 🙂☆
I was very much looking forward to another video from your channel popping up in my notifications and it did not disappoint. Another fantastic, hilarious, informative video.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying our occult based antics ☆
The amount of symbolism hidden in each card never fails to amaze me.

wow this was actually perfect, i'm not even into tarot and had to subscribe lol
Thank you so much, hopefully I'll be able to convince you to try the Tarot. I'm not one for the fortune telling side but I've found it to be a wonderful tool for self discovery 🙏⛤
The image fits right into your story!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🃏☆
Great video.
Reminds me of “Agatha All Along.” On that show, the High Priestess card represents Jennifer Kale, aka “the path forward” according to the most recent episode.
Just love it 💯👋👋
Every video/card/lesson is awesome 👍. Thanks a bunch🎉
Thank you so much for your kind words, lots more to come! ❤⛥
My 2024 is blessed to have found this channel, every episode so far has been such a fun lesson!
Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the channel! 🃏⛤
Wow what amazing videos! ❤❤❤

Saphira is also the name of the Dragon of the main character Eragon of Christopher Paolini's Inheritance series. I have them but have yet to read them. After all I've been into lately and discovering the name appeared apart of all this, plus, the series itself is said to be heavily inspired by Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. So it sounds awesome anyways.
Awsome videos , awsome creativity
greatness! love this. thank you!
Thank you 🙏⛤
Very well researched and excellent attention to detail. I'm learning a lot about various archetypes through these videos too.
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying them, they're great fun to put together ☆
Such a great discovery. Thank you for sharing your efforts.
My pleasure, glad you liked it! 🃏⛤
Absolutely loved your efforts and dedication to do your best. it truly shows that it is done for the love of it. I loved how you went an extra mile and credited each artist for their efforts in the description. Thank you so much!! Subscribed.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it 🙏⛤
I love your series. Very well explained.
Thank you 🃏⛤
GOOD JOB!
Thank you ⛤
I know im getting to sound like a broken record but Kippi . your Tarpt school is awesome. ONe Practiontioner spoker against ;l;earning meanings and said you should go to intuitition. Thatts all very well in the long run but personally i need an anchor
Me too, especially when it comes to esoteric tarot. There's just too much symbolism for me to go ahead without any guidance 🃏⛤
Just a comment so more people can 'intuitively' find these amazing videos through the algorithm
Thank you, I appreciate it 🙏⛤
Wonderful video! Thank you 😊
I'm glad you liked it 😊⛤
You guys are the best!

I think the old shamans boiled it all down - The Half-Baked Shaman
Makes it kinda.... strong, sometimes....
Far out man ⛤
Have you ever thought about how the design of her crown has the moon segment where Daath would be on the pillar of Mercy if the pomegranates on the curtain represent the other sefaraph (sp?)
That's interesting, I'd never thought of that 🃏⛤
Those pomegranates look more like papayas. Did Rider Waite ever specify what fruit is behind the High Priestess? Papayas symbolize Growth and Resilience. Love the video series.
Thank you very much! I see what you mean, they do look like papayas but Waite does specify pomegranates in the Key to the Tarot "She is seated between the white and black pillars-J. and B.-of the mystic Temple, and the veil of the Temple is behind her: it is embroidered with palms and pomegranates".
I think it was another biblical reference as Waite was a Catholic ⛤
@@kippi Thank you for responding 💜
@@kippiPomegranates are in the story of Persephone and Hades. Persephone ate pomegranate seeds while in the underworld which meant she couldn't leave. A compromise was reached where she split her time between Earth and the underworld.
Since the exact fruit of the knowledge of good and evil was never specified in the story of Eve, the Serpent, and Adam, pomegranates were among the contenders for the fruit.
found my favorite occult channel
Thank you, glad you like it! 🃏⛤
And there was a prayer for each demon that came against Solomon that can cast them down ...same are demons the attached to humans today 💯💎
Looking forward to doing more work on the Lesser Key 🗝️⛤
loved your videos but just one thing makes me kinda confused, isnt sefirot the plural form and sefirah the singular form? In the video you seem explained those in reverse.
Yes, I had it the wrong way round to begin with but I corrected it later. That's one of many errors I've made along the way 😅⛤
I want to know the deeper meaning of the cards what it represents when comes to someone’s character
There are many possibilities, the High Priestess could refer to someone intuitive, secretive, introverted etc but it all depends on the context. By using the tarot regularly you will build your own relationship to the cards & know which meaning is appropriate to the current question 🃏⛤
the pillars somehow indicate that the lady is sitting below (au upm ztr?) the moon is already present in the card, wouldn´t it be logical then for her to be a
...roast beef dinner with all the trimmings? Yes, I think so ⛤
L'ORACLE D'AMON
♓♓ ♍ 🙏🙏🙏
I just don't understand... if the High Priestess is potential and the Magician is the potential channeled into manifestation, why wouldn't she come before him? Also... THANK YOU for this amazing video.
I think a good way of looking at it is the path that the Serpent takes when travelling up the Tree of Life, here we find the High Priestess sitting at the 13th path of Gimmel & guarding the secrets of the Abyss. The Magician sits above this at the 12th path of Beth, beyond the Abyss and close to Kether. That just leaves the Fool sitting at the 11th path of Aleph so through the High Priestess we cross the Abyss & enter the archetypal world of Atziluth. This is considered to be the ultimate goal of the Ritual Magician ✨
When I've finished the individual cards I'll be putting out a series on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and path working that should tie it all together 🌳⛤
@@kippi Thank you! This is a bit beyond me so I think I need to read my Qabalistic Tarot book again while I wait for your series. 😄
Don't worry, I'm learning as I go along! I think there's enough to keep us busy for a lifetime! 😅 I've always believed the most important thing is how we relate the images on the cards to our lives, once make those connections the rest should fall into place 🃏⛤
@@kippi All very true! My first experience with the High Priestess was consistently drawing this card when asking about my grandmother who was dying in hospice. It's taken me a while to understand why I kept drawing this card but I think it's because my grandmother was literally hovering between worlds at that time, on her way back to that great ocean.
@@silverseedcat that's a wonderful way of seeing it 🙏⛤

Which card or cards do you identify with most? The Priestess and the Hermit cards represent me. Have you ever dawn your own interpretations of cards?
I drew a version of the priestess. I'm definitely not an artist, just drawn in colored pencils that looks like a child drew it. My priestess card is a belly dancer in a red dance costume and with a red and purple veil - roughly matching my red tribal style belly dance costume. Her jewelry is silver with lapis lazuli stones. She is a temple priestess performing the dance of the seven veils like Inanna. Her arms are outstretched and she holds the veil behind her. The background behind the veil has a fountain, trees, stars, and the full moon. The temple has no pillars. The priestess' legs represent the pillars. The scene includes a candle, cup, coins, rose, lily, pomegranate, the priestess' moon crown, and a scroll with the infinity symbol on the floor where she is dancing. The movement of the dancer's hips is associated with the infinity symbol. Only this year I learned about the goddess Babalon (the Red Goddess) in Thelema.
That sounds like a wonderful version of the Priestess. I also resonate deeply with this card & the Hermit. I'd love to attempt drawing my own versions one day 🃏⛤
@kippi Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Not only is drawing your own tarot cards a good way to learn their meanings, but it can also be used as art therapy for processing emotions. Based on the tarot books you reference and the statuary in the background, I would venture to guess your path is occultism or ceremonial magic??? Imagine what symbols and imagery you would use in your own cards.
You're absolutely spot on. This channel is dedicated to my journey through Ritual Magick & that all starts with the tarot. I'm deeply attracted to the idea that we can define spirituality on our own terms but I'm also quite a rational person so I struggle with the idea of faith. I need to see positive changes in a tangible way, so when I read Crowley's maxim "the aim of religion, the method of science" it felt like coming home. Finally I've found a spiritual path that I can walk with joy & excitement 🙏⛤
@@kippi Do you watch the channels Angela's Symposium or Esoterica? Dr. Puca focuses on the occult, magic, and paganism. She's into the anthropology of it all and how people actually practice their spiritual path. Dr. Sledge focuses on philosophy, alchemy, and esotericism. He's into the history of it all and is a collector of antique manuscripts. Both are informative and entertaining.
The comedy act is really tough to take in I feel like it’s belittling
Thank you for your feedback ⛤

Interesting how i ended up with two pillars on either side of my altar without planning it! 😂
