You probably have the most comprehensive collection of variations on these of any collector on this entire planet. Very little is known about how ERTL did variations - they usually didn't. Usually it was just related to production based changes and not purposely done. Most of these cars being so fragile barely survived playwear. to be here in the 2020's to collect at all! If you remember your pal dreadnok320 he had a lot of the ERTL Dukes cars too I do believe along with the Johnnys, its been awhile.
@@DykeVanDick33 Same. I think RaceGrooves and wtffor are the only OG's still out here from the 2010's actively making videos. A lot of the old gang kind of faded out.
Dukes of Hazzard collector here since 1979 still collecting. 1/144 scale all the the way up to 1/10 Even I have 3 full size cars 72 roadrunner, 73 f150, and the 70 wrecker I know it's supposed to be 1967-9
First, shout out to the DC Clown?! Awesome! Second, I think the show still managed to wreck more cars than you have - impressively collected - on the table!
The convoy was excellent and to pull out the Dukes right afterwards... This is an awsume collection man and the ballz. Impressive I must say! Big fan hear mate! Nice job
Cool! I hope to meet you guys some day, once my rights to freedom of travel are re-instated! It would be very nice to visit the States again someday soon.
This just made my day. I cannot thank you enough for this video. I have and always will be a fan of the best TV show ever. I’m truly honored to be mentioned. Thank you 🙏 my friend.
@@wtffor I have some dukes of Hazzard toys. And I also ha e that same gerneral lee that you have. I bought at the plunket vill car show. There was an original ertl general Lee siting on top of it and the guy gave me the ertl general Lee for free when I bought the big gerneral lee
Nice collection my friend i would like to have just half that much in my collection love your channel you are a great teacher when it comes to rare vintage hot wheels and other awesome die cast been watching for 2 yrs now keep up the awesome collecting
Probably my favorite TV show as a kid (together with Knight Rider of course). You have quite the collection here. I like 1/64 Johnny Lightning version with the opening hood, although the ERTL version seems better proportioned. The 1/25 scale Johnny is nicely done as well. Thanks for showing all these.
The rougher ones. I repaint into other cars they don't have. The ertil happy birthday general Lee. And cal Yarborough white charger, general Lee 1 first one they used in first season with rocker panel molding, then the blue 71 . Wrecked race car from the tire commercial Richard Petty did. Episode "repo man"
I prefer Autoworld's 1:18 from Cooter's Place. It has the correct rims (Vectors), the R/T badging & the dual flags on the trunk. Their 1:43 resin is pretty cool too. I also have a 1:64 Johnny Lightning. I'm looking for a 1:64 with more accurate rims though...I hate Ertl's version...no bull bar.
The 1/18 from Cooter's Place is the most accurate of that scale but you need to purchase your own decals. The Johnny Lightning packaged under 07 is the most accurate 1/64 and again you have to purchase decals separate
Really enjoy your videos and you sharing your collection I have been collecting Hot Wheels particularly but other diecast also since I've been 7 years old and never really stopped collecting and consider myself to have a heck of a collection but you my friend have an awesome collection especially in the variations which is extremely impressive I really enjoy your channel very much and feel fortunate that I stumbled across your channel a few years ago and have been watching most of every video you've put out and thoroughly enjoy it want to thank you very much for sharing your collection and also the information that comes with it keep up the great work you do to make this happen!
Thank you very much for your message Dan, so cool that you have a lifelong collection as well, I bet it is amazing in it's own right. If you haven't already, you should make a video of it for TH-cam. What is one of your favorite vehicles in your own diecast collection? Thanks again for all your support.
Oh man! I didn't know you could sing brother!!! This was a great video...thanks so much for sharing this collection and telling us the history behind it. Dukes was an iconic TV show, and the fact that so many die cast came out of it is an example of it's timeless popularity. Antlers on the Boss Hogg Caddy...love it!!! Cheers my friend, God bless the truckers up there and all the best to you from the Mojave Desert!
i have the 1/25 white lightning with gold rims. i got is when i was five and i broke the metal and now, what do you know, worth 500 bucks and mine is worth nothing because its junked. But I won’t sell it because of sentimental value
Huh!!..The 1:25 Johnny Lightning General Lee is exactly the same as the ERTL 1:25 General Lee released in 1998..The only difference is the interior is Black..
you know im not a die cast collector but i am dukes fan and that uncle jessies truck isnt right at all jessies truck was ford f100 a73 or 74 model go watch the series youll see theres been releades of cooters tow truck but its hard to want em when cooters truck changed like 8 different times through the run of the show then the toys dont accurately represent anything from the show
In the prequel The Dukes of Hazzard, Willie Nelson drove a Chevy Pick-up truck. In the TV series Denver Pyle drove a white Ford F-100 pick-up. The 2005 Dukes Of Hazzard movie Willie Nelson drove a Dodge Pick-up truck ONLY 2 actors played uncle Jessie

Great Song man! Love these cars and I love this song. If GreenLight makes a bus series how will you see them?
This is the biggest General lee collection I have ever seen, kudos bud.
Thank you! I like it too! It was a bigger collection than I remember, fun to put it all together for this video!
Awesome!
This is awesome! Still looking for a General Lee, but I did not find an affordable one yet.
What is considered affordable to you?? Because they just continue to go up and im guessing no one is gonna make them anymore...
My friend, your videos are always entertaining and educational. Very impressive DOH collection.
Thank you very much!

Between 258 and 321 General Lee were used in the TV show. They say only 20 in different condition are left.

The 1979 casting of the general has the trunk deck lines, while the re release does not have the trunk lines . first thing I noticed 😁😁
That collars gonna steal some hearts
Nice collection of cars. Great 👍.

Hughie Hogg drove the white convertible bug in the original Dukes of Hazzard.

The car you called the "Fire Chief" was the Finchburg county sheriff from the episode "Baa baa white sheep"

Sentimental value and an enjoyed youth are priceless! :)
Uncle jesses truck was a Ford F-150 type.

johnny lightning did a barn find general lee that you can get at cooters place

Just a good ol boy
I always find the tsc police cars cheap because of the quality and the metal and parts they used
Huh!!..The 1:25 Johnny Lightning General Lee is exactly the same as the ERTL 1:25 General Lee released in 1998..The only difference is the interior is Black..
Waaw waaw waaw mobilnya keren keren teman ❤️
The one Uncle Jesse pickup is a Chevy? Did he ever drive a Chevy? I thought it was a Ford.
I want the cop car one in the little general Lee
👍
😍😍😍
Party time
Get Cooters tow truck I would like to see that one in the next video
Wow
U Jesse’s truck was a Ford F100. Not a Chevy.
I got 2 true General Lee’s and 6 custom ones
Can’t buy a general lee 1:64 anywhere
You have some money because this collection costs a ton because i see loose cars goe for 20 and Johnny lightning $75 and auto world is $200
you know im not a die cast collector but i am dukes fan and that uncle jessies truck isnt right at all jessies truck was ford f100 a73 or 74 model go watch the series youll see
theres been releades of cooters tow truck but its hard to want em when cooters truck changed like 8 different times through the run of the show then the toys dont accurately represent anything from the show
Aloha!
Uncle Jesse pickup was not a Chevy pickup it was a Ford F-100 and most of the cars in your Collection was from the TV show not the movies.
Got a buddy who can customize any hotwheel into Dukes of Hazzard diecast
Everybody loves General Lee (except black people)
How are you doing? Good? I hope so.
Huh i have a huge Dukes collection and a guy said he would give me a whopping $700 for it lol i replied, for which couple of cars? Lol
Uncle Jesse had a fire f100 not a Chevy
My mother smashed my general lee because I left it out and she slipped on it. I am still mad about it. 😂
Can you sell me a 1:64 General?
As far as your singing?
You got balls, kid but don't give up your day job!
Say I have a general lee
Don"t quit your day job :-) :-)
Indeed, that would be a MISTAKE. hahaha
