Hi, there can be many reasons. First step is try to balance the number of hens and cock birds in the aviary. Then install at least 3 more nest boxes compared to the number of the pair. Calcium with vitamin D3 supplementation is very important. Good seed, at least twice a week fresh vegetables and fruits is essential for healthy birds, fresh water all the time. Try these basic things and hopefully they will start breeding. Also check that your birds are not too old.

Yes they do. An if you get your birds a couple days ago It won’t breed until 3-4 months after. I had that experience I purchased my birds an I wanted them to breed asap But as far as I know they won’t breed until you have them for like about 3-4 months.
@feyadmohamed238 Thanks. I don't know too much about breeding English Budgies. American budgies breed like crazy. However, even English are not very "modest" once they get going. How long after you put an English male and female together in a breeding cage with a box can you expect mating to start? I hear it's pretty quick and if nothing happens after a couple weeks you should try another pair. What do you think?
@@donnadavis8917 so I got my pair an I was excited for it to breed but however it did take about 3-4 months before they start breeding, NOTE I never swap the male with another female. I allow both of them to have their privacy and about 3-4 months after they start mating.

It’s like the same as humans You can’t marry today an have a baby tomorrow. If you understand my point. 🤗😊 So yes they do take a time. 😊

@tinadhanram Your male may be infertile. I would add a couple of young, healthy males.
This assumes you have given them an appropriate nestbox, of course.
