This Vivo X200 pro is truly iphone 16 pro max's killer! Great job Vivo!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I'm very happy to see this slay of Apple 16 Pro Max by Vivo X200 Pro..
The iPhone's camera doesn't look bad but Vivo gives you some professional camera-like results. In the night photography there's no match to the vivo x series as of now.
On this comparison I would say that the Vivo is better in portrait mode and in zoom on the other hand the iphone keeps the advantage in HDR situations and in video, the sky on the vivo is sometimes overexposed.
Yes, vivo photos with zoom in low light, medium humidity and atmospheric pressure at an angle of 90 degrees are beautiful. In all other cases, it is better to choose another phone
In photography, although I liked some samples from the rear camera on the iPhone, overall, Vivo seems to be better. The selfie camera is a bit difficult to judge. For videography, I would choose Vivo’s rear camera; it’s very punchy and detailed. While iPhone has an edge in selfie videos due to its fine details, Vivo is also good. However, the glare in Vivo's selfies under well-lit conditions is quite disappointing. In low light, Vivo's rear camera stands out, whether in photography or videography. Regarding selfies, neither impressed me based on this video, but Vivo is better.
Thanks, I personally don't like selfies in general and just do them for the completeness of these videos. Front cameras are generally not great anyway. 😉

Detailed and very smooth comparison. Front camera video: Vivo seems to apply a little more sharpening meanwhile Iphone keeps in the natural tone. Also seeing the portrait selfie 1080p on Vivo, I give it Iphone this round. Rear camera photos(daytime): Vivo is known with its strength with the portrait ones and definitely winning with showcasing the subject. I like the naturalish look on the Iphone though with the colors but it's important what mode has been used on the Vivo as there are mainly three different mode(Zeiss, Vivid, Textured). I guess you used Vivid or Zeiss mode. I would go for textured even thought it looks very contrasty. Iphone used to lose big time in the previous generations but I see they're definitely improving it. The details with the crop shows it clearly that Vivo is doing a good job there. With the macro shots, I like the presentation from Iphone and I believe you didn't use the full potential of HP9 periscope on Vivo that you can take amazing macro shots. But without that Iphone annd Vivo goes neck to neck in macro based on the ones you show. With the rest Vivo is coming first especially destroying the Iphone with its periscope camera. Overal winner is Vivo but the gap is closing! Rear camera video(daytime): Iphone is known with its excellent video performance. It's clear the gap is getting closer with Vivo but still Vivo needs improvements. When you start jogging, the details are clearly shown on Iphone and that made it a clear winner for me. Also the lens switch on Iphone is smoother. Vivo is going super fast and then jumping. I hope they're going to fix that. I don't why you didn't record 4k 60fps as it would give us more hint. But with 120fps, Vivo is clear winner. I don't know why Iphone didn't keep the focus on the fountain. Even though Vivo performed better in the last section. The overall winner is Iphone with very little gap. You can also switch from main cam to periscope on Vivo while recording 120fps. You didnt show that! Front camera photos(daytime): Honestly, this is the one I care the least. I don't shoot a lot of selfies. Front cam video performance I'd rather focus. But to choose a winner, I will say it's Vivo. Surprisingly better skin tone and more natural colors. Vivo is still making skin smooth a little. But Iphone looks contrasty so I will say the winner is Vivo here. Front camera video(daytime): Iphone looks better in every case handling the direct sunlight better and skin tone is better. Vivo seems a little shaky as well. With the sound Vivo is clearly improving but there's still improvements needed. Iphone is a clear winner this round. Rear camera photos(lowlight): Oh boy. Vivo is smashing Iphone here. Almost in every photo despite there are clear improvement done on Iphone. The focus is better on Vivo. The noise is handled much better on Vivo. Especially when the night mode is open. Vivo takes street lights and reflections to a next level. But also it's clear that Vivo benefits from the big rear camera modules and their light intake capabilities that you see a slight change with the normal mode vs night mode. Lastly that periscope HP9 module on Vivo, literally the best module available in the available smartphones right now. Especially at night, it shows its magic. Vivo is clear winner this round. Rear camera video(lowlight): Iphone won anything video related so far but not this round. Iphone small cam modules are suffering in low light conditions. There's jittering with iphone. It tries to increase the exposure while blowing everything around. Also the T coating on Vivo seems to be helping with light reflections as well. Vivo is really smooth this time benefiting from the light intake capabilities of the better modules. 120fps is also the same story. Vivo is a clear winner this round. Front camera photos(lowlight): Honestly both are terrible. But Iphone does a better job. i don't understand the manufacturers using high mp cam modules in front. Samsung has solved it brilliantly by using a 12 mp camera which has better light intake. You don't need megapixels in front just trying to squeeze every pixel to even smaller size making it worse. Anyways, I won't go long and chose Iphone as a winner. Front camera video(lowlight): Again both are terrible and noisy. But this time Vivo is again winning it and I'm guessing it's sth with its algorithm handling the lowlight conditions better. Vivo is clear winner. So, if you're social media person recording videos mostly, doing vlogs then Iphone is clear choice. But if you're a photography enthusiast Vivo is the way go. Video recording is not a big issue and Vivo is always known to improve their devices quick with the updates after the release. What a great phone they made! And this is pro version! one thing i like about iphone video is when doing selfie video, my face doesn't cover the entire camera. so the view behind can still be enjoyed, unlike android which does a fairly large crop so that the face covers the entire frame.
For a fraction of the cost of the iphone, its amazing how far vivo has come. I hope they are not targeted to be sanctioned after huawei. Android has overtaken ios photography and almost on video too.
Great video! I feel the daylight video to be better on iphone, however the night video seems clearer on Vivo to me, while smoother on iphone, which could make sense. Photo speaking, vivo dominates in general, although main cam is very close. Some scenes of vivo were a bit overexposed. Side note: this year, main cam of Iphone is larger, 1/1.12, almost 1inch!
Only real way to do that is to upload separate videos in the native resolution otherwise you'll have 8k video exported in a 4k comparison video. I've tried uploading separate samples in native format/resolution/frame rate, but not many people would watch a separate video, so didn't make it worth my time.
The nighttime video on x200 pro is lagging , fps is dropping despite the new chip , and UW fov is 119 degrees or even lover , that’s sad. But the telephoto cam is the King for sure
watched the video and thinking hey android is as good as ios devices in both photos and videos now..and then i reach low light part of the video. wow the vivo actually blew away the iphone cameras
Vivo gana 2 a 1 en la mayoría de situaciones. Pero lo que me sorprendió es ver qué vivo gana en cámara selfie y estabilización de video😮. Es impresionante vivo costando la mitad que un iPhone
Overall for picture, for those not professional in editing..just a so so photographer will go for vivo..its more saturated and vibrant..for those who professional in “Log” mode editing, will go for iohone. Simple to understand. But for video(no zoom)& stabilization of vid..no phone can beat iphone. For portrait mode..we can at vivo bokeh with very details..still need to improve for next generation
Lens flare is an issue on most phones, especially iPhone. Personally, the whole thing is overblown. It can actually be mitigated with angles and some photographers use it as a creative look.
I'm curious if dxomark gives first place to Vivo. At the moment there is no other phone like Vivo. I need to buy one, hopefully it will be a global version in the near future.

one thing i like about iphone video is when doing selfie video, my face doesn't cover the entire camera. so the view behind can still be enjoyed, unlike android which does a fairly large crop so that the face covers the entire frame.
ill go for vivo for photos. iphone for videos
how about x200 ultra? 😀
Vivo and Zeiss 😍💪 can't wait for the X200 Ultra😊
the microphone on the iphone is just so bad all thst marketing about so called studio grade microphone for that? 😂
true heard it alot of times that bad already
I agree
For a fraction of the cost of the iphone, its amazing how far vivo has come. I hope they are not targeted to be sanctioned after huawei. Android has overtaken ios photography and almost on video too.
Both are good! It just purely depends on one's preference
why didnt you use something greater than 85 mm to match the iphone?
@@no.way.out_ Just comparing each telephoto lens without any digital zoom/crop on the sensor.
Great comeback Vivo in all departments!! Great fightback to Apple 16 Pro Max!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!
Hey Grant! Thank you again, you're rocking 💪. Is there any chance to compare Vivo vs the latest Pixel, please?
Yes, based on the last poll it's the next one.
Will be though if vivo x200 pro matching with the mirrorless camera
Vivo x200 pro🔥🔥🔥
you are the best !
Mic Audio is definitely good on vivo, well done vivo
is Vivo X200 using face smoothing filter?
Imo iphone takes slight edge on front facing camera, and night mode. In every other category they are either similar or straight up vivo smokes it.
I've watched all his videos for the vivo comparison and so far number one is
Samsung
Vivo
Pixel 9 pro XL
iPhone
How do you get the vintage mode on the Vivo?
It's one of the many effects in portrait mode.
Thanks, appreciate you sharing your throughts on the results. Pretty sure I saw iPhone main sensor is 1/1.28" though.
i wish u have had compared the 8k mode too , and compare it with 4k to see how can the phone handle it
Only real way to do that is to upload separate videos in the native resolution otherwise you'll have 8k video exported in a 4k comparison video. I've tried uploading separate samples in native format/resolution/frame rate, but not many people would watch a separate video, so didn't make it worth my time.
I saw that vivo has problem with voice and screen. it seems some delay, lag. Voice is not aligned with mouth
We are really looking forward to comparing OnePlus 13 with iPhone 16 pro max!!!
OnePlus 13 doesn't have a chance as it has the same main camera HW as OP12. Not bad, but not in the top league as Apple or Vivo
4k 120fps on vivo looks so good
17:16 iPhone dropped frames but no one complained 😂😂
God is watching 😂
Everything is fine but feel that Vivo video recording the sound not on point😢
Good vidéo ❤
Thanks 🙏🏼
The nighttime video on x200 pro is lagging , fps is dropping despite the new chip , and UW fov is 119 degrees or even lover , that’s sad. But the telephoto cam is the King for sure
I don't get why vivo can't put a 4k30 cinematic mode on the front cam.
They will put it on after software updates. Same as previous x100 pro
@arikii7385 does vivo x100 pro shoot cinematic mode 4k30 on the front cam now?
At least they have 4k on the front cameras now. Was a complaint of a lot of people for awhile.
@@GrantLikesTech 4k30 cinematic on the front cam is the only thing that's stopping me from getting vivo or xiaomi. if they have that, I'm switching.
watched the video and thinking hey android is as good as ios devices in both photos and videos now..and then i reach low light part of the video. wow the vivo actually blew away the iphone cameras
9:54 is that the famous lens flare issue with vivo ???
another good comparison
Thanks!
Low light vivo better in every situation
can you do oppo find x8 pro vs iphone 16 pro max camera?
Good job 👍
Appreciate it, glad you liked it!
Video night 4k 60fps?
Vivo act like a Venom then consumed the iphone 16 pro max.
My phone display can't support 4k so in most photos I see similar photos😂
Oh wow..... Vivo won in everyone's! Really impressive
Oh, vivo 🔥🔥
Vivo 🥇🔥
for now vivo is the best camera phone
The Vivo is amazing.
Vivo have 4k 60 fps in front camera bro... Please update
My Guy🤙🏾..oppox8 please.. Xiaomi 15 pro
Just came out, and unfortunately not free. 😉
9:19 and 9:55 lense flare is a real prob of the x200pro. 😢
reaaaaaaal problem, lasted 1 sec in total
Lens flare is an issue on most phones, especially iPhone. Personally, the whole thing is overblown. It can actually be mitigated with angles and some photographers use it as a creative look.
@@GrantLikesTech btw this can be fixed by having a case on camera module, something like 0.6mm thick one
real problem 😂 get a life for real problems 😉
If there's one thing I am not a fan of, is the iPhone's bokke. It's just too underwhelming, as someone who has an IPhone.
Clearly, x200 is better for photography, specially when zooming. in video it is difficult to choose.
I'm curious if dxomark gives first place to Vivo. At the moment there is no other phone like Vivo. I need to buy one, hopefully it will be a global version in the near future.
they won't put a vivo 1st place for free, that's not their business model
First time I See a phone who is better at Video Than the IPhone.
Vivo en video es superior solo que no tiene tanta nitidez
Win: X200 Pro With Carl Zeiss Optics
I don't know why people are bashing iPhone everywhere. iPhone is most finished product out there. The pics and videos are literally very very consistent. Vivo is for someone who likes to edit or who knows how to use tons of features of phone camera.
Most finished product in What way? I'm using iphone too. But i would like to know
Watching on 16 pro max
Impressed by vivo
Cameras are comparable
vivo still have some over expose.
❤Vivo + SnapDragon❤...
