Ignoring the damage effect everyone can notice that the BETAMAX has a better quality nearly comparable to a 720p vision through human eyes, when VHS is like a 360p or even worse. VHS won the competition because it was more cheaper and longer in tape duration. I LOVE BETAMAX.

The counter on the VHS would not have damaged image over it. It was an overlay from the VHS player, NOT at the tape signal.
+ricarleite Not if the counter was recorded directly to the tape, over the video. It would be just as "damaged" as the video it was recorded over.

Es que el BETAMAX no tenía conexiona a RCA, por lo que tuve que convertirlo en Coexial.
