This was a great conversation, Amanda does a good job of asking questions and letting the guest talk and gives responses, this was almost just a regular conversation as opposed to an interview. Big Sean is a great artist and personality.

I was avoiding watching this episode as a single mom of an infant whose father left. “Fatherhood” is still a touchy subject for me. However, im very glad I listened. Sean definitely dropped gems regarding mindfulness and just being the best version of you for your child. I’m hyper aware of that and actively working toward that and healing all wounds so I don’t bleed on my child. I also appreciate the love and reverence he showed when speaking about his son. ❤

I think I’m a terrible mother and not in a abusive or neglectful way, I just feel like it was never my lane. My kids love me tho and would say the opposite so I’m doing something correctly. You might surprise yourself. I still don’t think I’m the best but my oldest is headed to college this month.

I met my father when I was 15. He helped me with confidence and from there it was on. He was a ol skoo player bt he let me know who I was and where I came from. He died ten yrs after me meeting him bt I am the man I am today because of him and I just wana thank Ryan White (my father) for enlightening me on where I came from so I can be a better man in this day

love the casual comfort of this convo and the tactfulness to keep it off Jhene. I was waiting for this one and it didn't disappoint. I'm a 40 y/o new mom to a 7 month old and my entire pregnancy I was hyper-aware of miscarriage because they're so common. Sending love to those that experienced one💕

That was a beautiful interview. It say alot that he doesn't do interviews often and he chose to speak with Amanda. Love to see Black men support Black women. Especially opinionated and outspoken Black women like Amanda. More of this.

Omg this was for me. I've asked God to give me a clear sign on something. The very first words spoke to me. Then he talked about kids being astrophysicists or basketball players and that's what my children both want to be!

I love how interactive this is on TH-cam. I only ever listened on podcast apps. Anyway, a memory I have of my father: He was always good with his money, and I think any time I think about making financial decisions I think about what he taught me. He was also a very funny guy so; I definitely embrace laughter. Laughter can be therapeutic, and we need more reasons for joy!

Listening to him is like listening to myself especially when it comes to fatherhood. I love the vulnerability and him expressing intention and purpose as it relates to parenting. We all our the best versions of our mother's and fathers. Wherever they were in their lives we got the best of them. Hopefully we all realize that and grant them grace. Peace to the fatherhood men are nurtures too and it's ok to lean into that. Ain't nothing soft about being loving, compassionate, thoughtful, affectionate, sensitive. It's just means you're balanced so open up and get in touch with your divine feminine B!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
