What’s your travel set-up? 🤔👇🏼
Thank you dear for taking us along. Can't wait what the kislux queen picked up at Fendi
🙏🏻
Love a good "whats in my camera bag video" delighted I came across the channel :) Cheers
Thanks Neil. I know right… I can’t help but watch them too 😄
Literally just built out this same camera and lenses! The ultra compact Sony primes are so underrated! I just ordered that rectangular hood too 👌🏽
They’re really great. I totally agree - underrated. And hope you’ll enjoy the hood too ✌🏻
You forgot to stereo the audio eek😢
I thought one of my earbuds was broken 😢
So sorry. Hadn’t realised! Thanks for watching 🙌🏼

Whew, I fell off my chair with vertigo. Weird. Great vid!
Outstanding. Apart from the drone (I sold my Mini 2 long ago, wasn't using it enough), we've got a fairly identical kit! Main differences are that I use Freewell's magnetic filters, and I've also got an Insta360 Go 3 in addition to the Action 4 - because I obviously have a GAS problem 😆
Haha - I know this syndrome well 😉 Also this is my faint attempt at a more ‘minimal’ carry!? How do you find the Insta360, is it worth carrying as well? Thanks for tuning in 😄
I love the quality of your video. Good job.
Thanks so much. Really appreciate it 😌🙌🏼
Great video. I assume you’re talking another bag for clothes. My problem is that I’ve minimised my set up to the point that even modular camera bags like the Shimoda make less sense. I use a Heipi travel tripod (similar to the ulanzi but with a built in mini tripod), a Leica M11 with 35mm and 50mm lenses. Three tiny 39mm filters (IR, ND and pola), a spare battery and a power bank. That’s it. I’m think of just squeezing all the camera stuff into a PD 3L sling and putting that and the tripod in a bag with some clothes. Have you ever done something similar and, if so, did it work out?
Hey Ian. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
I can definitely relate. For the kind of trip I’ve just done I found the Shimoda to be perfect and 100% needed. We hiked a lot and needed to carry food, hydration packs and layers in addition to the camera gear which included a drone. I also wanted my camera mounted to my shoulder so I could stop and shoot easily. It was pretty packed out despite me shedding as much weight as possible for the big hike days. Let’s say by the end the snacks and fluids were all done so a lot lighter 😉
However, when I’m home and doing little day trips in to London that’s where I can go more in the direction you mentioned. I actually use an AER sling. It’s awesome. Not padded but if I’m taking my A7cII + say 40mm it fits easy with little accessories and personal items. It’s a very freeing experience too 😄
which metal lens hood are you using for the Sony 40mm compact prime? Thanks!
It is the Haoge square metal lens hood. Here is the Amazon link: bit.ly/49nQuhF
@@HannahYoungPhotography Thank you for your prompt reply! 🙂
My kit is very similar to yours other than the drone. iPad and the same SD card holder are a must! Question is do I get a Drone or the new camera upgrade I’ve been thinking of 🤔
Tough call. It’s funny as I feel the drone is very valuable on a dedicated photo landscape kind of trip but this is like 10% of the time of my overall shooting. Therefore perhaps the camera has more value!? Maybe depending on how big an upgrade it is!? 🤔
Hi Hannah, enjoy your trip, oh who won the mic you were given away ?
Thanks Kevin. All packed up. Can't wait now! The lucky winner was @tomryanelliott!
Would you bring Sony 2070mm f4 for travel as well?
That’s my travel lens of choice. Then I’ll bring a fast prime for nighttime or indoor shots.
If I had one maybe!? But I have owned one and never ‘loved’ it. But it is a versatile lens!
Nice combo 😄👌🏼
Will the new Sony 16-25 f2.8 G lens make the list when it becomes available?
@@alvinbartolome1239 ooo don’t tempt me. It does look really nice. Are you thinking of one? 👀
Do you put your action 4 on shimoda bag by some capture system during shooting?
I currently don’t. But this is something I am looking into as it would be really useful. Especially for hiking. I just wasn’t sure if it would be a bit much to have one on each shoulder 🤔
That all fits in a 20L bag? Impressive! Surprised you bring a drone since there are restrictions no matter where you go. Plus it brings unwanted attention, especially in places you’re not familiar with. Great kit!
Fits nicely in, I’m also surprised when I look at is all laid out 😉 So far been pretty lucky with the drone on my travels, especially since having the mini it is a lot more discrete. However it is certainly not used in all situations…. Thanks for watching 😊
Pretty reasonable setup, very similar to what I bring except I don’t bring my drone traveling, too many varying restrictions country to country, location to location.
My setup is my A7IV with the Tamron 20-40, zeiss 55 1.8, DJI action 4 and its selfie stick, a spare A7IV battery, spare DJi batteries, a small cleaning kit (a couple wipes, a sensor cleaner, brush and air blower) and a Joby gorilla pod. All in a small Peak 6l sling that I use as my personal item, backpack as a carry on with all my clothes and stuff.
Wow. That’s really awesome to get it all in the 6l sling as well. How are you finding the DJI Action 4? I’m pretty happy with it for some vlogging especially with the mic addition ✌🏻
@@HannahYoungPhotography Yea it’s been really nice! I leave my cleaning kit and stuff at the hotel and even the spare battery and even put my wallet and phone and a bottle of water in there sometimes 😂
And I just really used the DJI for the first time a few weeks ago on a vacation in Mexico and it actually surprised me! Used it for beach footage, swimming in cenotes and my first ever scuba diving experience (36 feet dive with no dive case) and it did excellent in all the scenarios.
@@shittytownguides1910 I’m really impressed with the quality too. Yet to be used under water so glad to hear it stood up to the test….
😊
✌🏻
why is the audio only in my left ear? Thanks for the review, enjoyed it!
Sorry that that. Not quite sure what went wrong with the audio. Hadn’t realised myself as didn’t test with headphones on. Thanks for sticking with it anyway 😄
Great video. Very similar to our kit for our holiday next week in Orkney. Not sure if it just me but your audio seems very low.
Thanks for watching - enjoy your travels. Orkney will be fab. I’ll investigate the audio. Still getting used to the new mic so may of messed something up 🫣
@@HannahYoungPhotography the audio is fine but just on the left side. the right channel doesn't have sound
Great travel setup Hannah! Looks like something went wrong with the audio on this video. It’s only on the left channel. The right channel seems to be muted.
Thank you. And for watching. Especially with the dodgy audio. Really not sure what happened there - will investigate….
Mono audio turned on 😅!?
So sorry for that. Hadn’t realised until after posting. Thanks for watching anyway! 🙌🏼
Audio is left channel only ☹
So sorry about this - just realised…. Thanks for watching anyway!
