Holy Shit!!!!! Them notes! Nearly 35 years and still! Them notes!!! Her n Pat Benatar….still able to sing the songs note for note. Now I’m all excited to check out all the other live songs. Thank you so very much for posting and sharing your experience with us.
I imagine this not being in the original key, but still, this was performed second to last song of the night. Incredible she was able to still pull these notes off after 15+ songs
OMG WOWOWOW - always loved this song and especially LIVE and she continues to nail this 30 years on. Fantastic and haunting still this many years later! Thanks Miguel. Also just curious years ago I spoke with a "Miguel" on a Sarah forum about her Tom Lord-Alge radio mixes well before streaming etc...is this the same Miguel?
@@SMJM85 awww yes. I miss the old days waiting to see what her next radio single would be and hoping Lord Alge would give us a superior radio Mix to the album mix. I think the last mix he did was forgiveness in 2010. Not sure he did any mixes for Shine On which of course was with a different label and likely didn't have enough budget to hire him to mix anything plus Sarah's radio days were over....
@@dy1497 I agree, ever since Afterglow I always looked forward to the radio remixes of the singles she put out. TLA remixed One Dream and Illusions of Bliss, so those are the very last two I recall him doing. One Dream remix was in the Lilith 2010 compilation, and Illusions in a radio informer compilation. I can’t recall who remixed the Monsters (Radio Mix) single, there’s very little known about it.
@@SMJM85 oh I didn't realize he also remixed "One Dream" but I can't find anything online confirming this. The mix on Spotify is both a Sarah single and on the Lilith 2010 both versions sound the same. I assume Illusions was also TLA even though again can't find proof even on his own website it doesn't show him as mixing it but neither does it show Forgiveness and we know he did mix this as he is credited for the mix on the single.
@@dy1497 I have the 5CD Box Set Collection that was released in 2015 and the booklet notes of One Dream does say “Additional Production and Mixing by Tom Lord-Alge” with both the standalone single 2009 and Lilith 2010 releases mentioned 😃. I also double checked on Illusions. It wasn’t on the “Radio Informer” compilation that it was released in ( that was for the “Loving You is Easy” radio mix) but in “ A Taste of Triple A & Americana” February 2011 by Airplay. The liner notes in the insert does say “Tom Lord Alge Radio remix”
A Powerful Performance... So Full of Emotion.. I would love to see her come to.South America amigos...
I've seen Sarah Nine times. Haven't seen her in about 5 years. Her voice is still amazing! Hoping to see her for the 10th time!

Is it the original key? It sounds one or two steps lower. Can't blame her because she's been singing these crazy high notes for 30 years.

yeeooww. those notes. those inflections. her beauty!
Her absolute best song.
Agreed.
All of her music is great, she's a musical genius, but Fumbling Towards Ecstasy was just an incredibly amazing album start to finish. Masterpiece.
oh thank you for this.....YES
You’re welcome!
What's a wonderful coincidence on the first part of the video where she's over exposed by light... It's really like an angel singing!
Nicely put! I hated that the lighting messed up that portion of the video haha
A fucking goddess ❤️
Can we turn back time
