I found that out after I heard that! Dude, I’m a huge dog guy here so any songs about dogs makes the song so much more impactful to me
Did he lose both his dogs? Cause I could’ve sworn “the darkness of my mind” was about losing one of his dogs
@@Heath-vz7lc Same dog. Darkness was about when he thought he was about to lose Miyuki after she was diagnosed with diabetes. She died in 2018, so this song is about him dealing with his regrets and turmoil from being away from home so much.

This whole album is amazing but if you don’t check out the new I Am Abomination album you are doing yourself a disservice. Easily the best release of this year for me! If you love guitar and drum work that album will blow your mind! Check it out!

I would love if you would do a reaction of a song by Qoiet, Like dig gold for example.. He is a very underrated for his quality of music. Qoiet has very dirty screams and likes to mix them with metal, rap and dubstep beats.

Nicky I agree with you honestly. It has its moments and Amongst the Shadows and the Stones is a killer song,but it’s not interesting to me as a whole.
Don't worry I always respect your opinion dude, seems like some people are really loving it and some actually do find it a bit boring
METALBIRB I watched a music stream on another channel on Friday and someone asked if we had heard the album and almost everyone who responded said it was okay at best. It seems like with this album that Trivium fans really love it and everyone else is split or doesn’t like it. Seems to be the case with most albums,but it’s been super noticeable here since it’s been the talk of the metal community unlike anything I’ve seen in a while.
Aside from Amongst the Shadows and the Stones which is a killer song,Sickness Unto You and Catastrophist are probably the ones I like the most. But my problem with both songs is the middle sections/bridges are the only true standout parts in them. So they’re like okay songs overall,but they have their cool moments. Other than those three songs - where only one is a song I love as a whole - nothing really stands out about this album. It’s a massive step down from The Sin and the Sentence. It’s more on par with Vengeance Falls for me,but with a worse vocal performance.

Did you forget what year it is? I can't even begin to pick an album apart like this compared to any previous, or other artists. It's hard to come by a good metal album or music period in these times. It's a damn good album
Album is pretty forgettable. I had high hopes after listening to the track "Amongst the shadow and stones".
