I have regretted getting everything gold then doing longshots. My advice is once u get a category all gold get longshots so u don’t have 1,000 longshots to do. Bc it starts to get very boring
Here it is the most annoying part of the weapon challenge in the category. SMG - long shots. Snipers - point shot Pistols-shotguns - headshots Launchers and shield= exp grind.
Just wanted to let you know that the way to check if a gun had new attachments added is to check when you unlock the 4th camo, because it was always 1 level before max level or you could check the attachments to figure out when you unlock weapon tuning, aka max level on the weapon before the update.
I regret not doing my snipers prior to shipment being added. Now theres no shoothouse to get longshots in with them. It made shotguns easy with slugs but yeah, the lack of a shoothouse playlist sucks
Great tip on the reticle showing distance! I was pushing myself to each side corner of the map and just hoping it was 38 meters or more. Can get almost all camos done on shipment except those pesky longshots.

The best way to get sniper and marksmen long shots is by far invasion. It’s a bigger map so a lot more opportunities at long shots and there are a lot of players sniping so it’s easy to just look for glint and kill them. I don’t know why but shot guns have been the hardest for me by far
Absolutely. I thought ground war would be best, but in the end I found that invasion was best if you just target real enemies, because they get distracted by the bots and other players, and loads of snipers camp on rooftops or in their own spawn, especially on Taraq, which was by far the best map for me grinding these sniper camos. I got all four snipers done in less than an hour and a half, and had a lot of fun doing it.
Shotguns were actually really for me, easiest by far (now that theres no shoot house) on shipment you can just stand in any corner of the map with slugs and a scope on it and aim for center mass or headshots. It only needs to be around 13ish meters i think to get one. Took a game and a half per shotgun for me because i had sweaty lobbies
Domination is better than Hardpoint imo. The spawns in Hardpoint aren't as predictable and consistent, and as long as 1 enemy (or teammate) is on the point the rest of the players are free to do whatever. A lot of people playing that mode for camos too, so it makes for less people on objectives and more people looking for others to shoot. Domination has 3 objectives and keeping A or C keeps you a spawn side for the most part to get those middle-lane longshots on Shoot House. Also try using a thermal optic and using smoke as a screen for those mounts (you can take it as a field upgrade and keep a different tactical option, or take a smoke grenade and something else for field upgrade.
@@prexzah if your team is the kind that just pushes into the enemy spawn vs holding a side (a&b or b&c) I can see that being a thing. We just hold whichever flag we like best and fight for B. The only time we flip, is when we get overrun. We can go a whole game without flipping spawns once. I should add that both modes are heaps better than TDM and Kill Confirmed imo though and I enjoy both.
I just wish the new raptor fvm40 scope wasn't bugged for snipers. That would be helpful as it's the only sniper scope with a rangefinder. I was excited to use it when the vitcus xmr dropped but it's bugged still.
I actually dont think bullet velocity is too impactful in multiplayer maps so if aiming stabilty or recoil are at cost i wouldnt bother investing into bullet velocity
I think good players underestimate how hard it is to get kills for bad players like me. Most of the time I‘m dead before I see anyone. All these spots are in high traffic areas and you barely get s second to post up on a shield. Combined with the wacky spawns it is an absolute nightmare.
Started grinding longshots yesterday and it is so annoying. On shoothouse almost nobody goes through that middle area like they did on mw2019 invasion is just filled with kids sniping you across the map. Groundwar was just so boring couldnt find people at all. Going to try tier 1 today

Easier said then done when your trying to get long shots with an smg you get out gunned 9/10 times. It’s ridiculous they don’t let you get long shot medals in AI
Ground War is the way to go. Sometimes I would only get like 3 on Shoothouse because I would just get beamed by someone mounted on the other side that was just better than me or hardly anyone would mount the other wall. Playing Ground War just parachute onto any tall building and you can just pick off people as they run by or other campers. You'll get at least 6 or 7.
I’ve been doing everything class-by-class: launcher, melee, pistols, sniper rifles, marksman rifles, battle rifles, and assault rifles are all leveled and platinum, now i just have smg, lmg and shotguns left. It feels especially good using the MP7 after so much strife. I’m stubborn though, so i might not do tier 1 for my longshots…….
If you play invasion or groundwar highly recommend the range finder. Put it in thermal and it marks the enemies. Was able to get 53 long shots in one game doung so. Also scope with markings in them to help with bullet drop helped a lot
Even with the sight attachment I'm having all kinds of problems getting longshot kills with the SMG's. Unload a whole clip from the Fennec into them and they don't go down.
i did find shoothouse worst, in my lobbies i see like 1 person going against in the headglitch like 2x per match its nonstop smg nerds rotating spawns all the pushing from sides

an easy way would be to be able to filter maps instead of spending time skipping smaller maps in tier 1. makes me wanna quit. and they don't really care at all

For border if you lay on the bus on the US side in the spawn and shoot towards mid where the fire truck is you can get some and also inside the tunnel near middle shooting towards the Mexico side you can get a few. Idk about sariff bay tho sorry
Shoot house is def the best and if it’s a long range gun you can get all 25 standing on top off b site in sa’id ground war if it’s not your spawn. Also in my opinion taraq is def best in the regular map pool
Wrong. In MW19 there was a hardcore game mode with just shoot house. There was an option. His point is it’s not in the game. Hardcore isn’t in MW2, it’s tier 1 & if you actually played older cods you would know it’s not a true hardcore mode. So there’s no hardcore in this game bud

I tried getting longshots on Ground War but it seems like the longshot lengths between Quick play and Ground War are completely different.
One tip i have is put a 5x scope on you’re weapon and play hardcore game modes like domination and kill confirm. And camp for long shots.

You can do long shots for shotguns and pistols on shipment and then after that it's to other maps shoot house is I think the best one

I find hardpoint much better to predict spawns, domination the spawns flip constantly and it’s very campy

For ARs, BRs, LMGs and even some of the SMGs, play hardcore and switch to semi-auto (Left on the D-Pad for anyone on console who didn’t know.)

Just put one of the kill counters on ur gun for tier 1 then if u kill someone the counter would go up so u know u got the kill lol

bullet velocity gives more VELOCITY to the bullets. AKA goes farther. Cant get longshots with a gun that shoots half an inch my girl

Go to invasion also. You dont get long shots for the AI but plenty of long distances to set up and hit players
I tried this route and ended up burning all my ammo on AI before I found players and was stuck with my pistol. lol

The charm is called Dragon Egg and part of the Engraved Dragon Bundle you can buy in the in-game shop.
Shoot house is impossible now because people run around sides of the map and it makes long shots impossible

Bro that 38 meters is a straight lie I've gotten multiple 38+ meters with the chimera and none of them counted
