I left Savannakhet in 1984 and spent about two years in Thailand and Refugee camps. I don't remember much of the town now, so many new buildings.
This video made me super emotional (In a good way) my grandparents and my mom and aunt(s) grew up right in that village by behind the temple! But now fast forward many many years later we have family has a house built right in that town Ban Phone right before entering in the temple. We will go back once COVID is over :)

I miss Laos. My family is from here and we went as a whole family (20 of us) to Laos back in 2019. It was my first time. From Minnesota here :)

The lady is eating whats call Rain Frogs. Their big stomachs are filled with black eggs. They only come out the first month of Rainy season I believed

You didn’t show the football stadium with the airplane out front..must be the only football stadium in the world that has cows and goats walking around..it was really funny to see..
