Having somebody you can trust completely. Foreigners can not buy land in Laos. Can long term lease or buy condo, but not land.
Most purchases are with cash. Very few people borrow here.

I got a big house right in the centre of Vientiane capital. It's a 3 bedroom fully wodden floor two storey house with a big backyard plot. It's 486sqm right near to the town and its for sale. 450000$
