Problem-based learning is a great teaching strategy that can be used for all types of learners-including adult learners! The video is about PBL and includes an overview, key elements, examples, implementation, and outcomes.
I do not own the music used in this video. It was obtained through Jamendo.

Aside from the incorrectly attributed Benjamin Franklin quote, this is a phenomenal video. It's an apt quote, but it is a rewording of some of Xunzi Kuang's writings. Thank you for making the video, regardless. It was very informative and helped me understand the subject.

Thank you! I had no idea. I had found it in a textbook one day, so I guess I was misinformed. Thanks for letting me know.

I think that what Paulina is citing is that of Benjamin Franklin. Xunzi also emphasized the importance of action, but the expression is slightly different. Xunzi emphasized the importance of seeing more effectively than just listening, and the importance of doing rather than seeing.

    1. Your sketching hand video is distracting. The content might be relevant, but I got tired of the sketching. 2. I disagree with the concept of PBL. Without a knowledge base, there is no basis or skills applicable to the solving of problems. Notice this concept started in medical schools where the students already had a body of content knowledge and maturity to apply them to problem-solving. 3. There is no true way to assess the ability of the individual student in PBL situations. I have been exposed to it through 4 universities and through the doctoral level and have yet to see a group-based learning project or scenario where more than 20% of the group produced 90% of the work. It may be applicable to college-level work, although, in my opinion, limited use is preferred, even at that level. I can see some applications in fields such as medical, legal, and architectural engineering.
