So he went here and he learned about their culture and their tragedies and these people in the videos are the people and music is of Caucuses and then he went to China because he also had DNA there. René's DNA test turned out that her ancestors came from almost every continent.
Something that I forgot to mention is that the voices of the women singing are widowed women from Ossetia (southern Russia). The voices of this Christian-like choir were recorded in a small church devastated by the armed conflict. René had the opportunity to work with the Russian Symphony Orchestra (one of the largest in Europe). But he decided to tell a war story from the perspective of the losers, so he rejected and used the local voices of these Ossetian women. It is more personal.
