- Where To Stay Prior To Miami Cruise?
We take a look at our go to hotel when cruising out of Miami. This is the Tru by Hilton located at 5560 South Lagoon Drive Miami.
There are great restaurants within walking distance and we feel safe staying here. It is only $28 for a LYFT to the cruise terminal as well.

We give you a view of the hotel and surrounding areas of the Tru by Hilton located in Miami at the South Blue Lagoon. This is a reasonably priced hotel to stay at the night before a cruise. It is a short drive via taxi, uber, or lyft.

I wouldn't say that $373 per night was "affordable!" I'll pass on this one.
@@dcalver1967 $373 a night….we paid $185 a night. I’m sure different times of years it’s more or less.
How did you get to the hotel and cost from there to the cruise port?
We took a Lyft XL and cost was $28 to terminal F.
Nice. I am thinking about where to stay before my next cruise in February out of Miami. Did you take Uber to the hotel also
Thanks for this, I wondered what this hotel was like. Always nice to have pre-cruise options and we like the Hilton brand.
Nice
people need to define what they mean by ‘reasonable’. This looks about twice what I pay in Miami
We paid $185 a night. You are correct and reasonable is based off what you are willing to pay. I’m not paying $400 a night and that may be reasonable to those that aren’t concerned about cost. Also rates swing tremendously on the nights and time of year you stay here. This is a visual of the place. It’s up to person booking to decide if the price point is reasonable or not. Thank you for watching.
Can’t wait to stay here again and have the Pizza restaurant and East Panda. 😂
Good review.
Glad you enjoyed the verbiage 😳🤣😂
I’ve stated at Hilton Tru hotels as well and you are correct - for the price and what you need they are fine. The one thing I am not fond of is the way the soaps, shampoo, hand cream, etc is dispensed. You have to squeeze the container to dispense it and I would rather not have to touch those especially just after washing my hands.
That's a good point. I normally use a wash cloth to squeeze and try to wipe down everything at the beginning with a Clorox wipe. Good call out!
