i was always so confused on why Rose saved Finn. No offense to Kelly, she did a phenomenal job. But my god Rose and Finn were done so dirty. And the fact you can destroy the people you hate and save the people you love at the same time is just… huh??? has she never considered that concept? This Sequel Trilogy needs to be retconned and remade with a proper plan
I think her *stopping him* from sacrificing himself is literally the strongest plot point of the film, because they literally watched one of their higher ups do the same thing and it didn’t change the outcome of their situation. The whole movie’s plot with Finn & Poe is that they have a twisted view of what it means to lead. Poe thinks mutinying is the solution, which only splits their strength, and Finn thinks good leaders die heroes by sacrificing themselves, which isn’t true. The purple-haired leader literally just died to slow their enemy down, which she didn’t even know if it would help. And it kinda did? But only for a few hours at most. Finn dying would have left them with one less leader, and maybe a tiny bit longer, something Luke did arguably a lot better. The way she stops them might be stupid, but she’s clearly not thinking while watching a friend lol themselves for nothing.
I actually really like the other side of the argument you have, that was really well put and although my stance doesn’t change I understand where you’re coming from completely and makes a lot of sense
Great video. Thought that this was from a big channel cause of the level of editing and general composure of this video. I was absolute shocked to see only 2000 subs and 208 views. This video should have that number times 100 atleast. Great stuff. Hope you reach your goals. That scene made me so angry. It ruined the movie for me. Even tho the movie is generally good. It's not even close to the movies that came before it.
Could've been good like a lot of the scenes and plots in these movies, but has a self-defeating plot and is horribly inconsistent with itself. I think the scene I hate the most is the scene where the codebreaker shows them the arms dealers sell to both the resistance and the first order, which doesn't make sense but also what's even the point. One is literally a metaphor for the Nazi's, what's the purpose. It's presented with no nuance, or opinion, or any form of commentary. It's just there. Also, the codebreaker is the worst part of that movie. He goes back and forth from being a cynic ne'er do well with a good heart to a slimy rat to pretty much whatever the plot needs him to be at any given moment because the whole sideplot is so poorly written.
The Last Jedi would’ve been good but this movie has the worst character selection I’ve seen in a Star Wars movie even worse than the Rise of Skywalker!
What do you think of The Last Jedi? (I think I know the consensus tho lol)
Revenge Of The Sith is the best SW film
Mid
Good movie, bad Star Wars movie.
Blan.
I just pretend the sequel trilogy doesn't exist. It brings me peace of mind.
Rose’s sister literally saves the ones she loves by destroying the people she hates at the start of the movie lol
Every time I want to give this movie a chance I remember this scene exists

The Last Jedi is a good film. But not a good Star Wars film.
TLJ is a mediocre/forgettable film and the ST is a mess.
I need to go to the movies more
