Beat the odds? A lot of my friends have quit, the hashtags i follow for TV shows have only a few people commenting, and there's more bots than ever before.
I am not sure I entirely agree. I think people were claiming there would be a mass exodus from X...and I would argue that the platform is still very relevant today and has seen improvements in the overall user experience. No doubt people quite, for various reasons...but what happened post-Elon was not the vision of Twitter falling into the ocean that many predicted.
to be honest I don't know a lot of people that follow twitter but I think it's better, if you listen to the video, then you know.... but to me TH-cam seems more right leaning than other platforms i,e reddit, facebook and IG. I bet you're also the type who believes and likes don lemon
You think I am the type who believes and likes Don Lemon? What a weird thing to say...why do you say that? ...oh and the record...I don't. I think Don Lemon is partisan, non-objective, and honestly quite cringeworthy.
Right wing garbage always comes with scam ads for expensive gold coins hocked as investments, survival food scams, snake oil treatments for illnesses and "tactical" everything.
@@jonobacon Aaahhh.....the rapidly failing social network that is suing all of its advertisers for not advertising even though they are the sole prospect for revenue?
I totally agree...the tricky thing is how you define "hateful" in more nuanced cases. We would all agree that racist, antisemitic, misogynistic content is bad...but where is the line drawn on other things. For example, "I think democrats are stupid" could be interpreted as either hateful or as purely an opinion. I don't think X have figured out where that line is drawn.
Great analysis, thank you very much for this informative and educative piece.
Thanks so much, Harald!

What is "X"?
X is the new name for Twitter

I think it probably needs a combination of both.
@@jonobacon AI can’t be held accountable, so it shouldn’t make important decisions.
Good point!
