  • ayo, long time no see, because of stuffs like assignment deadline and such, I'm unable to make music due to lacks of free times, well anyways, hope you enjoyed this one. this one is made while I was experience with some chords. though I said that this one was "an attempt as jazz" it's still considered a loop and tbh I don't think it would sound like actual jazz. but nontheless, thanks for check out! new songs comming soon.
    Made in Dn-FamiTracker
Time spent: a months or so

This is really good. Are you able to share some of your techniques to add more orientation to the notes? I realise you use a lot of echoing, pulse width switches and doing quick arpeggios (the one 1:04 in [1]).

the arpeggios is the preset I made, I literally spent like 30 minutes to set up for all chords case scenario, even chord up and down, so those are just my built in maj7 and min7 stuffs. about the echo, yes it's one of a common technique used in chiptune due to limitation. so instead of 2 separated channel, you can instead make the echoe being 5/8 or 3/8, works super well with complex or slow melodies, there're 1 menthod I used to make them is first, I copy and pasted the part I wanted to be "reverb" to a different channel, then adjust the volume until I satisfied, after that just select and put them together one by one, that's how.

      あ~、あれは「オシロスコープ」 (oscilloscope) と言います。僕が使ったのは『コルスコープ』(corrscope) というものです.
