- I compare a recent snappy little article on Yahoo!Finance to the original research report from Transamerica Institute and its 23rd Annual Retirement Survey.
As I always say, "Do your own due diligence!"
As a DIY retiree, digging into the reports is a lot more fruitful than clickbait articles on the Internet!
Here's the links, so you can do your own due diligence!

And remember, I'm not a professional. I have no initials after my name. Take these as entertaining ideas from one educated consumer to another. Always do your own due diligence. (Where have I heard that before?). Seek out a professional if you need one.
It used to be said not to believe half of what you hear or read; with the internet, that number is compounding downward at an ever-increasing pace. Thanks, Jim, for your outstanding content!
I expected you to add, "I am not AI," to your standard warning! 😊 Thanks for the video
Enjoyed to see this research. Thanks Jim.
Glad you enjoyed it! for those who need, here's the link to all the research at my Google Sites page: sites.google.com/view/iwasretired/home
My biggest challenge is trusting half the content of what I read. If I had a dime for every Fischer Investment e-mail or snail mail piece of garbage literature, I'd be wealthier than I am by a factor of 10. One has to be extra careful nowadays and especially so with the advent of AI.

what PAY RAISES...I keep getting downsized...now I am contracted=programs will be pulled
I understand. AI and similar writers think we are all cogs in their corporate wheel. During my career I dramatically increased retirement savings in my 50s. Because I had eliminated debt and knew I had to plan for the unexpected, which came at age 59. Had I been able to work until 65, I would have been much better position.
Dang clickbait 😂
Dang AI 😂
X or Twitter. No one knows 💩
Until you step in it!
