I watched both parts, that was a scary tree. Thankful you got it done without anyone getting hurt. Stay safe and God bless. I pray for you daily. 🙏❤🙏❤🇺🇲🇺🇲
Looking back it was a fun one, but a little dicey until I got the top out. I was VERY pissed when I realized that I hadn't recorded rigging down the wood
Honestly the entire tree chunking down wasn't that bad, because I rigged it. I was super frustrated when I realized the GoPro hadn't recorded any of it. But that was definitely one of those days where I was beyond covered in sawdust when I got down
With the zigzag attached to the dead oak and the rope runner attached tied into the adjacent tree, what would happen if the dead oak did fail? Would you be supporting the wait of the dead section that failed while being suspended from your secondary tie-in? I try to avoid anything other than my flip line (I switch to a non steel core flip line for these types of jobs) being attached to the dead tree incase it failed while I was in it.
So typically I try to avoid putting myself in a position where what I'm tied into primarily is going to fail, so the previous Supply is correct where I was fairly confident at that point with the strength of the tree so I was okay being tied into it completely, however should it have broken then either the piece of broken and falling out my flip line, or I would have been pulled quite heavily back towards my primary tie in.
My opinion I think he knew that oak was still strong as heck even though it was dead. Sometimes they're stronger. Depend on how long they've been dead for and this case. I think it would hold as it did and I think if he thought it was going to fail. He wouldn't tie into it at all except for his flip line god bless

I could feel your frustration early in that tree. And then having to eat all that dust chunking down. I don't envy you on this job.

As usual, great😢 job.
Thanks
Tinggi wah pohon nya , jenis kayu apa ini ? Apakah eucalyptus.
No it's not it's a white oak.
How long did it take you to get that tree down
I believe it was about 2 or 2 and 1/2 hours.

What's wrong, buddy? Sounds like you're in pain when you're climbing.
