Made very good points Sir! In the past, I‘ve noticed several questionable rigs on the roadways that certainly needed to parked. And not only livestock trailers too! Thank you again for all the Great information you afford to us….🇺🇸🦅
Thx Curtis! The trailer can definitely get your animals hurt and amazing how many folks that have horses but no trailer and then just settle for whatever they can borrow or buy cheaply without properly checking them out and putting animals in jeopardy
Thanks so much for all the advice. I'm currently looking for a 2 horse bumper pull and you've given me some great points to consider before I purchase.
Thank you Lisa I appreciate it! There are lots of good trailers but most sellers unfortunately don’t disclose everything. In the bumper pull, pay attention to where the floor meets the sidewall in the area of where the back feet are. This is where the urine and manure gets pushed to the side and typically will rot that area, also the hay manger. They rarely have drains and will rot in corners. The owner will put a rubber mat in manger to cover. Just know that steel trailers ARE going to have rust. They all do and it’s part of it, just as long as it’s not extremely severe. You can just wire brush and paint the areas that need addressing. Good luck with search and if I confused you or can answer any other questions just let me know. Thx for watching! Dave
Good afternoon Dave 🌞 and what a beautiful one it is.l totally agree 100% with what you've said on this video, this is a massive problem all over.lt brought back a terrible memory. When a farmer was taking two pony's of to market and the floor almost completely give way. This was on a motorway and needless to say the pony's had to be euthanized,l shall never forget this,.and l had used this man befor to take one of my show pony's to a show, gives me the shudders.l must say yours is looking absolutely terrific and when the winter coats shed my goodness they will have one heck of a shine on them, l can see it already. Will you hog all of their mains or just your beautiful Mules....personally l think it looks very very smart, but that's just my opinion 😀 Well lm going to make the most of this sun and give my greenhouse a real good washing down ready for the tomatoes and cucumbers to be planter in about six weeks or so.lts the first chance lve had as its been nothing but bad weather,l see the sun is shining for you.So nice to see everyone is settled well and getting on.Have a great week ahead, stay safe, healthy and happy 😊 All the very best Dave 🌱🌱🌱💕
Yes a very beautiful day here, actually this entire week was in the high 70s. Yesterday actually reached 80! Back down to normal low 60s next week which I welcome. Not ready for the heat just yet! So sad to hear of the ponies! It’s all too common I’m afraid but many folks are just not aware of the hidden dangers. When I was starting my deep cleaning yesterday, I thought it to be a good talking point and stopped to make this video. I have to finish today however! I’m so looking forward to getting some pics from you on your plantings. I want to see them from start to finish and on your plate ready to eat! 😀 Have a beautiful weekend!
