Brilliant!! You've made my week with this. My dad was born in Coventry in 1940, so 'the few' are extremely close to my heart!! 9 year old me loves the model work, coz thats what was hanging from my bedroom ceiling. 48 year old me sees the detail and hears the soundtrack that he grew up with, and has tears. Thanks guys, a job well done 👍.
Damn you, you've triggered a mid-life crisis in me. 54 years old and I'm off to google Airfix kits which I haven't made since the seventies. Joking aside, what an awesome job you've done. I can't believe more people haven't viewed this.
This is amazingly good. You very quickly forget about the limitations fof the visuals, and you enjoy what you are seeing. So much work went into this short film too. Wonderful to watch
An epic remake of an epic movie about an epic battle. The best thing I've seen on youtube in ages. Well done. I had an inner cheer as soon as the Spits appeared!.......Glad the Hurricanes and the Defiant got a look in.
Blummin' eck! What a show! Having just watched the Making of The Battle of Britain videos here on youtube this was a fitting tribute to the epic movie! Well done to all involved in making this.
"Bally Jerry pranged his kite right in the how's your father. Hairy blighter, dicky-birdied, feathered back on his Sammy, took a waspy, flipped over on his Betty Harper's and caught his can in the Bertie."
Brilliantly done. The models, the effects, the editing and storyline were all marvellously done. Equal if not superior to the actual film. Very well done.
Bloody Brilliant! As a fellow 1/72 aircraft modeler, professional pilot, WWII re-enactor, and B-17G crew member with 10 hours in the Flying Fortress, this is the best short film I have seen on TH-cam! Your group should have been nominated for several Oscars: Best Short Film; Best Film Adaptation; Best Editing; Best Sound Score and Best Picture! Well done. I have always wanted to model something grand. This made my day. Remember; Check your six, How much fuel is left, watch for the Hun in the Sun, and any landing you can walk away from, is a good one. The last thing; always apologize to your mechanic, Oops, sorry. I broke it. 😊 Keep teaching history and make it fun. This is FUN!
Fantastic job there team. A lot of effort went into that. I have seen the movie many times and every scene I saw here, I can relate back to the movie. Top effort. You can be proud of yourselves.
Stunning ! Beautifully done, great skills in stop frame animation. Told the story very well. Nice to see a ME110 and a Defiant sneak into the film. Excellent shooting and explosion graphics........and nice to see the omission of Suzzanah York in her suspenders. Lol. Well done !
Mate, that is one of the best pieces of stop motion have ever seen. If the producers of Wallace and Grommet and Shaun the Sheep don’t offer you a job, they are mad! Well done mate. Enjoyed every minute of it. 👌👌
This is exactly what I wanted to do when I was 12! I spent so long trying to get the models to look good for the shots that I never made the film itself!
What fantastic work in every way! The models, editing of the film, special effects. Take offs and plastic discs for the moving propellors worked very well. Great to see a broader range of aircraft types than could be done in the film. I saw this film with my father back in '68 and I enjoyed this as much. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible job you have done... Details, animations and perfect use of elements of the 1969 movie. A real "historical animation" even more accurate than the 69 movie (real BF 109 E, BF 110, Stuka 87 B,.. ). A wonderful job to celebrate one of the greatest victory of Great Britain history.! Thanks.
This is unbelievably amazing; the best thing I've ever seen on You Tube! The model-making, set-making, and moviemaking, all outstanding; the skill and patience and perseverance to carry such a project through to it's finish is monumental. I can only imagine how much work and time it took, but I sure wish you would make another! Thanks for posting your amazing 1/72 scale version of the movie.
This is fantastic. Really great work. I love the film 'Battle of Britain' and this is a worthy celebration. I love the animation and the efx of the exhausts and plane going going in flames are terrific. A similar technique as was used on several occasions in the 1969 film! The character moments like the Luftwaffe pilot and the dog, and the pilots clambering into their cockpits. the engines starting up. Superb. You guys should be very proud of what you have accomplished. This is a testament to how even the most simple techniques are rendered invisible by solid story telling and direction.. ...and the sensational Ron Godwin score. 10 out of 10.
Thank you for this. A fitting and brilliant tribute to The Few. The B.o.B was the first film I ever saw in the cinema, aged five, and it had a marked effect on me. This is wonderful. Just wonderful.
Very Entertaining indeed Lad's....l give it a score of 100 out of 10....l enjoyed watching your little 1/72 scale version of the Battle of Britain flick.
I had to do a two minute stop-action animation in film school and that took me two days and that was with clay models. ! I can't even imagine how much work when into this! Well done!
Brilliant! Can't imagine how many hours this took to make. Models are great and the attention to detail and the original film is great. Don't remember a Defiant in the film though ;-) Just great work
That is genuinely a staggering achievement. The sheer number of hours behind this…
Bloody marvellous!
Nick Park would be proud - and impressed!
So would Keith Park🙂

if he was born in 1940 he may be 70 or 90 by now.
What a bloody outstanding effort. Very moving. Worthy or an Academy nomination.
Damn you, you've triggered a mid-life crisis in me. 54 years old and I'm off to google Airfix kits which I haven't made since the seventies. Joking aside, what an awesome job you've done. I can't believe more people haven't viewed this.
Really, really good. I can remember fighting the Battle of Britain in my bedroom with all the Airfix models I built.
This is amazingly good. You very quickly forget about the limitations fof the visuals, and you enjoy what you are seeing. So much work went into this short film too. Wonderful to watch
In the words of Churchill ‘so much was owed by so many to so few’ - well done 👍 Gerry Anderson would be congratulatory in his praise!
An epic remake of an epic movie about an epic battle. The best thing I've seen on youtube in ages. Well done. I had an inner cheer as soon as the Spits appeared!.......Glad the Hurricanes and the Defiant got a look in.
And all the aeroplanes all have the right engines - which wasn't the case in the 1968 film.
That was outstanding! Dam Busters next??
Bloody good show there ol' chap.
From Panamá, We are exited, delighted and astonished. A Work of Art.
Brilliant!
Wunderbar! Grossartigt gemacht, und ich bin sehr erstaunend! Es lebe die Jagdflieger der RAF und Luftwaffe! Hoch!

Fascinated by all this.
Brilliantly done. The models, the effects, the editing and storyline were all marvellously done. Equal if not superior to the actual film. Very well done.

It brought ne to tears watching that. Superbly recreated and the music... wow, the music. My congratulations. Brilliantly done.

As Pilot Officer Prune would say!
Fantastic work! I dreamed of doing this sort of thing back in the '70s. Guess who grew up watching The Thunderbirds?
This is brilliant. Made a few of these airfix models in my time. Always wanted my own little squadron of aircraft as a kid. This is brilliant 😊
Fantastic job there team. A lot of effort went into that. I have seen the movie many times and every scene I saw here, I can relate back to the movie. Top effort. You can be proud of yourselves.
Having done a lot of stop-motion in days gone by, I can tell you …. good job! Very well done.

Was she wearing anything else besides suspenders? I can't recall.
I agree with everything BUT the omission of Susanna York!
