I had a friend with a Probe Gt who was a fast driver and on the back roads the thing really held the road. I had to hold on pretty tight. Had a friend with a Talon turbo and it was a real sleeper when it was new. He raced a lot of people and eventually totaled it. It almost killed him. They are very capable for its class. Great video, I love the throw backs.
I owned a red Ford Probe GT in manual as a first car, bought it as my pretend Ferrari for highschool. It had a nice engine note and it did handle quite good for it's class of car. Fun fact, Jeremy Clarkson has a review on it and if I remember praised it. Plus pop up headlights!
Good video. The problem today is many cars are disposable. I believe the average car age on the road today is 13 years old. Older cars seem to get wrecked or rusted out. Or they have issues and people give up on them. I'll never have enough money to buy a brand new car again, nor do I want to. I proudly love and drive my 20+ year old Firebirds every day. Many people just don't have the passion to hold on to a car.
