At 45:00 you talked about being more powerful on a full moon, and in League there's a very ambitious champion designer that wanted one of his newer champions to do exactly that: Have power that scales with the real life phase of the moon. It was unfortunately scrapped, but the character's still one of the most complex characters in the game even without it (for LoL players the champion was Aphelios).
Yeah if they pulled that he'd have to be banned in proplay and riot just doesn't do stuff that is not for proplay. Even tho we've been seeing the same fucking champions ever since season 1 because simple is consistent and consistent is good in proplay.
One way to give players cool abilities that align with their race without encouraging alts is to make it so that everyone has access to late game quests where you can learn the intricacies of other races that then will let you spend in-game money to learn individual abilities. They can make incredibly strong ones very expensive, and it allows them to give races unique and appropriate abilities without having to worry about making some races stronger than others as the only difference is that each class will get their respective abilities for free as they level.
Best option for the class thing: There should be a base version of every class a good series of classes would be: hedgemage, Faithful, gunner, rouge, summoner, warrior, mageblade. Each would then specialize into different more powerful and specialized regional versions of their class as seen in the video. It would fit EXTREMELY well with the lore and be a very potent way of tying a character into it all.
You know washing TOO much is actually worse for you than washing rarely First of all youre damaging your skin but more importantly, your immune system gets no pracitce if you keep sterilizing everything. When you eventually DO get sick, It will be a million times worse than it had to be. Striking a balance between too often and not often enough is (naturally) the best way to go.
Kek is not actually from WoW. They just mainstreamed it. Its the Korean term for "Hah". If you read a Korean comic they wont laugh "Hahahaha" but "Kekekeke". (this is a thing in many asian countries, Crablante from One Punchman ep1 is one example) The devs put that into WoW as an inside joke. Then people stated playing all over the world and whenever they said "lol" itt came out "Kek" to the other side. But its not where the term originated from.

I think a way to make races/classes feel special without making the hardcore gamers baby rage that now they HAVE to play this class and race cause it's the best for the endgame content is to make a lot of cosmetic changes in your characters. Like someone from Shurima should be fine with the heat, while someone from freljord should be visually sweating, panting, and struggling with such a change of weather. NONE of this affects your skills, but it adds visual diversity and can be really fun in rp purposes. In ffxiv there are VERY MINIMAL race perks that it really doesn't matter, and while that's cool that technically each race is a little different... there's no point? It doesn't make me feel special, and even in savages I've done, no one takes race into consideration. I really think cosmetic race animations would add a LOT to any mmo
That… is honestly genius. Just small animations would add so much personality to the different class-race combos, I think you don’t even need to tinker with stats. 🤔

There could also be small special dialogue that doesn't affect the msq. Ex: A Shuriman merchant joking with a freljordian MC about the weather in Shurima, poking fun, but nothing that affects MSQ in any way.
eh, playing solo when friends want to start in difrend zones, is only till you unlock dungeon finder. than you ca play together, and start travaling to a matching zone. most likly you'll unlock a transporter to city X for coin fast, mabey even before the dungeon finder unlocks. or it is there from the start, just need to do 1 or 2 quests to get the coin to use it. about racual pasives, the normaly don't matter, slight bosst you'll bairly notest. a 2% resistens might as wel not exsist, even a 5% resistens doesn't realy matter. most of your resistans stats comes from armor anyway in the mid to end game. it no longer WoW classic, where racual passives are so overpowered that race becomes BiS for a class. it is just rpg estetic, not gameplay breaking. don't worry to mutch about that. how would armor work on the vastaya, your shoes question. you play the race because of there natural feet and animal astetic, you don't want armor to hide that. you think like a human, think as a role player, not a human.
