BoardGames4K I like it, but haven’t played it much. Our group has so many favorites it’s hard to get table time for a new game. Comments on BGG say it can get stale once you find the best strategy, but I’m not there yet. Normal price here is $50, I got it for $13 so no regrets. Cheers, Steve.
Just bought this with both expansions...will probably get to it around Christmas time. Hopefully the issues are resolved with the expansions, but from everything that I see this was a great buy.
Please, do yourself a favour and play with expansions. They are amazing. Port makes traveling much more interesting, and Inn introduces characters that you can hire in the pub. Such a game changer. If one doesn't like the base game, expansions will not change their mind, but if you like it already, they make it perfect.

This was the very first Euro game my wife and I bought and played. It still holds up for us, nostalgia aside.
Have you played with the expansions?

I think the older version looks better than the recent big box
It’s not the same designer, but the board looks a lot like the Helios board.

I was able to grab a copy of this about a month ago. I really enjoy it but hunting down the expansions is going to be a chore.
They get printed every so often. Just a matter of patience which is harder than usual when it’s games you’re waiting for 👍🏻
@@BoardGameBollocks I was finally able to acquire them. Was it worth it? Probably not but I've spent more on dumber things.
It will go out of print eventually and become sought after so keep hold of them.
