Mommy's World is a place to find all kinds of dolls and insanity.. As an adult collector of dolls and toys, I have lots and lots of cute collectibles. Barbie dolls are my favorite with Monster High being a close second. Ever After High ended too soon and I love American Girl dolls as well as Journey Girls dolls.

I'm gonna cry when you said my world i thought you were gonna be very basic with names and interests but you just straight up told a story about kids who struggle in the world and that was so sweet thank you mommy for being a mommy for all those kids who need to hear it. Thank you.

These dolls are a marvellous idea! LGBTQ is so important and I am so glad that the toy market is stepping away from "pink for girls and blue for boys" mentality.
Same toys should be for everyone one regardless of age or gender.

I actually think that these dolls are great I just wish that the short hair was a wig too, no hate there I just think it would look better on the doll. There are a few tweaks that need to be fixed, I have seen other TH-camrs who have quality issues with the accessories. I applaud Mattel for these though, if they ever make it to the UK I may seriously have to annoy my husband by buying them I mean not just me annoying him.
I feel the same way about the hair.
I've already seen them available in the UK. Smyths had them and I think Amazon, too.
I just bought the blonde doll and I am IN LOVE with it (im 30, cis, and its for me. for reference) but the wig is so so so so bad. I won't use it. but everything else about the doll is just sooooooooo amazing.
they also fit skipper clothes (I have a large barbie collection so was trying on some barbie, ken, skipper lines to see. skipper is the closest fit (not 100% but a good 80% looking good!)
I literally made my mom buy me one of these for my 25th birthday and I'm not ashamed. I wish I had these as a kid, but alas, I'll have to make do with it now. This will be so important for gnc kids, I can't even stress this enough 👆
when she said they could be nonbinary I started crying because lots of people look over the fact that nonbinary is a thing because I've identified as they/them for two years now and the only people who actually call me by my preferred name are my friends and my cousins but my parents don't and that's hard but you give me so much hope because you so open minded and i know you probably won't see this comment but thank you so much I've been watching you for like 3-4 years now I think and I absolutely love your videos

"I think, if you're a kid, you don't care as much as I do." Your statement is me with my toys and dolls to a T, and I'd guess it was me as a kid, too (more than likely). At least, I remember always being very fussy about everything.
I think that the reason why all the clothing in the set seems masculine is because in our society masculinity is the norm. So both men and women can wear "masculine" clothing and appear normal while feminine clothing is strictly "the other" and therefore reserved for only females.
Yeah I know all i wear is this stuff and I consider it gender neutral... I mean I've seen dudes wear skirts too and I think more pple gotta do that cause it's really cool... I do agree that they should include some more "girlier" clothes to truly be all inclusive plus itd be really really cool

These dolls have pros and cons I like how the outfits are designed to be taken on and off switched around act because I really like redressing my dolls (I always feel slightly guilty after changing a monster high or ever after high dolls outfit knowing it’ll probably never fit the doll the same way again ) but I gotta say I’m disappointed with the wigs I wish they had done a fabric cap or had rooted it all the way around just to make mixing and matching hairstyles a bit easier. Edit : also If Larry was a real person we would definitely be lab partners
Thank you for creating a character like Larry. My boyfriend had really long hair when he was little and was made fun of for it. Even now he still gets misgendered because of his features despite being a cis male. I love the way he looks because its part of what makes him him but I know he still struggles sometimes. I wish he had a character like Larry to make him feel not so alone when he was a kid that was being made fun of.

These are awesome and I love the stories you came up for them! As a young (closeted) lesbian from a small rural town that’s not always exactly accepting, it’s really nice to see something like this. I would’ve played the heck out of these as a kid!

First of all, I'd date the heck out of Larry and I think its absolutely adorable when boys wear skirts. And secondly we need more people like you who are really cool about all this and are accepting and supporting of everyone for who they are and whatever they do. I'm in a place with a bunch of yeehaws and alot of them are homophobic and transphobic so yeah stuff like this pleases me

I agree that the short hair should be a wig too, I'm just glad that they don't have a hole/peg in the back of their head, so I'm not sure how to get around that, logistically, for play. I'm hoping to save up a bit and get a few of these kits. The backstories you came up with are super awesome. I already have some backstories/ideas for mine 😊 I really hope that this doll line (or a similar one) is around when I'm having kids (my hubby and I just aren't quite ready yet). And I might get them for my cousins (if I can afford it 😅) this holiday season.

I don’t know why but once you got into the backstories I just started crying. I love the concept of the dolls, even if some things weren’t executed that well it’s still done very well. I also love the way you went into depth about their characters and what they’re like. Honestly, if more people were like you the world would be so much better.

Wow, just wow. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video. The stories at the end really got to me, you did a really good job crafting situations that so many real young people in the world go through. This kit would've helped me understand who I was as a kid.

Why do I want this to be a TV show
A term for mixed feminine and masculine is androgynous, I know that's a mouthful though. The fact that there was so much non-binary/enby representation in this video really inspired me and lit a fire up inside, I cannot thank you enough Mommy. You are truly a gift sent from God and I cannot wait to see where your wonderful smile goes. ^^

I know that this video was released a long time ago, and unfortunately these toys are no longer available for sale (in our country at least), but they are very inspiring! thanks for not just a review, but touching and poignant stories of every teenager, they hit my soul.
I am very glad that such toys exist at all, although they also have drawbacks. I hope that Mattel will not stop there and continue the series.

i remember watching my very first Monster High review with you and Gracie, and just want to say thank you for still doing this. this fills my heart with joy, admiration and hope. And your understanding towards the struggles our youth are facing is amazing. i was ostracised and shunned for my admiration with dolls but never forgot how much joy
I really like the dolls it is nice that they don't have our Pacific gender to the doll so if one day I want you to be a girl that I can and if Monday I wanted to be a boy I can do that that is there great thing about these dolls that it teaches kids fat you don't have to be what people want you to be you can be who you want to be and I love the concept of that

I bought one of the second doll you showed. I am doing a customization on him/her. So far I did an acetone bath to shrink the head which makes the whole look more proportionate.

this line of dolls is just really really important and i hope they make their way into as much kid's hands as possible. i feel like they have the potential to be an impactful part of a child's growth and values (since toys really do influence ppl more than we think) and the message it spreads is one that really matters. i am only so lucky that growing up, despite being in a close-minded family and society, i never hesitated to accept my own sexuality (and gender i guess. once i finally figure it out i will also accept it). but i know a lot of my friends have struggled. and it hurts to see that outside judgement and plain ignorance are a part of the reason for that. i wish more parents and kids know of this line of dolls, and more lines of toys like this exist

I'm not really a fan of the wigs over the hair. I think the better option would be wigs that are made for bald dolls, that way you can mix it up more when you have more parts to work with (plus wigs are really the way that most customizers I watch on youtube go when they make their customs using yarn or doll hair when they plan to try different hairstyles, rather than rerooting). I do think the doll line is kinda neat. It makes me miss the Monster High line though cause something just seems more fun to me about creating a crazy monster or non-human thing and going wild with creativity with this line it's a bit more limiting in a way because you can kind of only create dolls who look like the same character with long hair or short hair and fairly standard outfits.
I really like these dolls. I think it's important for kids to have dolls that are unique and different from than just Barbie dolls.

These are kinda cute, i like the articulation & fashion choices. I did a quick walmart site search & they only have the kits, no fashion packs, listed on there. I have never seen these while out shopping before so they are definately not in my stores. I checked ebay & there are all kinds of fashion packs, wig packs & all sorts. Are these things not really out yet?

I totally would’ve loved something like this as a kid. I was very confused about my gender growing up but I didn’t know what I was going through because there wasn’t any talk about lgbtq+ things when I was a kid. I think if there was it would’ve helped me come out a lot sooner than I did. I’m a trans male and I didn’t even know the term transgender until I came across a random TH-cam video when I was 17. Thankfully I came out right after that and I’ve been living as male for 6 years now. I think dolls like this are really gonna help a lot of kids discover themselves at a younger age and maybe help them not wait so long to come out and start living as the person they truly are.
