My only issue with the wig caps is in the braids one how it doesn't have the ability to blend in as a hairband, and if they had them coloured like hairbands it could look nice but limit creativity a bit.
I like the packaging I like the articulation Their neutral face makes for a very customizable doll. I do wish the hair wasn't rooted or even given them removable head caps that easily pop off and in would have been cool, I like the options given. The fashion is adorable

Now, let's get the wig issue fixed, I don't like trying to fit the wig on over the hair that is already there but I am thrilled to see such nice articulation and clothing. Way to go Mattel. Fascinating line of dolls, and I LOVE that Mattel is doing this!!! Very COOL!!
I love these dolls they look really fun and creative I want to collect these dolls they are so cute and adorable and the amount of fashions that can be used for them too like omg

Also I love al the detailed work on the clothes and the packaging is so practical, I wish they could incorporate some of that in barbies. The wig looks a bit weird in some of them but the short hairstyles are good.
Thank you so much for default referring to the dolls w “they” pronouns since these dolls aren’t assigned a gender or pronouns by their packaging... i looove these dolls i like that they’re a little smaller but still articulated. I hope eventually this line gets more characters and body types like barbie fashionistas! Changing hairstyles in a second is The Dream omg... But part of the fun of this line is whoever owns the doll can make up their identity and personality including their gender. So cool!
Absolutely adore this idea, can't wait to see how Mattel expands this series. I've only recently realized I'm nonbinary, but I, as well as many other trans people, would have adored these as a child
I like the HP dolls (I have several). But their body sculpts are too reminiscent of Monster High = thin bordering on emaciated, with poor proportions. It's like Mattel just wanted to get rid of some extra overstocked bodies they had laying around and figured the HP fans wouldn't care about it enough to not buy them.
I guess in the end Mattel doesn't care what doll body parts have to get swapped, as long as they collect $30 (plus the cost of the second doll) per customization. It won't be too long now.
The dolls look very gender neutral, so ppl of any gender can rock either short or long hair👌that's why in my opinion the wigs look kinda awkward here, I wish they would stick to just short or long rooted hair or make their heads without hair (maybe even with molded or painted hair)
These dolls looks super cool the fact that you can have male or female is amazing clothes not gonna lie those outfits are to die for can’t wait till they come out💜😊💜💚😍💚
My feelings towards Mattel for coming up with this genius idea is just "SLAYYYYYY!!!!!!" and as a Trans person myself, I am glad to see dolls that are very inclusive and NOT rooted in outdated gender roles!

I love them all! But I think the doll with curly sandy blond hair is my favorite. I am beside myself with excitement over these dolls. I have always been a fan of mix and match wardrobes and accessories. I also really love the fact that it is gender neutral so it can be whatever you want. :)
I love it how Mattel makes these other sets and have so much detail like denim jeans and zippers, but when it comes to things like Barbie dolls, they are just like: "ok, slap this pink fabric on this one"

LOVE THIS DOLL LINE WITH ALL MY LIFE! Diversity ✅ Mix n Match Fashion ✅ Articulated Body ✅ Different fabrics for the clothing ✅ AND MANY MORE CHECKS!! What I absolutely love from this line is of course the possibilities, and how it’s up to you to dress the doll. Feminine? ✅ Masculine? ✅ Both? ✅✅✅ And also, no gender limit for the doll, AT ALL! Boys and girls can play it without any kind of limitation. Love the equality💖 I hope Mattel will keep this line up, and of course, KEEP THE QUALITY, Creatable Worlds starting off really great imo, I hope it will be positively received by everyone!
WOW! These dolls are awesome. I seriously love the articulation , the fashions are cool/very detailed & the faces are pretty/handsome . I will say the wigs could be a little better but overall the dolls are amazing......Great job Mattel. I love that the doll world is getting so many fabulous doll lines this year ( I hope these quality doll lines continue ) . Great review btw :)
That's one thing I can definitely appreciate. We girls have to carry our cell phones around, too -- why should we be limited to shallow, angular side pockets on our clothes that won't securely hold much of anything, and are just for show?
I love that you can choose to go genderless, gendered, or somewhere in between! The options for creativity are so cool! Plus the price is pretty nice for the amount of stuff.
@@OutsideTheRopes Clearly you don't know what gender neutral means. Also, boys like to play with dolls as much as girls, you just must not know any boys who like playing with dolls.

I love that the hair styles they have make them look like they could be a boy or girl. It also helps breakdown gender roles if you make them look like a boy wearing a skirt or you could make a girl that isn't girly!
This is a very interesting doll in the LGPTQ+ community. Sorry if this comment is offensive to you, but this kind of doll reminds me of the trans, nobinary, and genderfluid people in the world. It makes the dolliverse feel more diverse, and it can relate to those kinds of people. Overall, dolls that can change from male and female is a very interesting concept.

I saw a news article about these dolls and jumped with joy. I’m a boy who’s played with Barbies my whole life. I’m 15. I was very quick to implement said article into a paper about the perpetuation of gender stereotypes in toys. But thankfully, Mattel is moving away from that. And after watching your review, I have been keeping my eyes out in stores for these!
Aww, the one with the straight auburn hair looks like me in highschool, back when I had short hair. Although I am far more feminine now, I was commonly mistook for a boy in my late teens. Certainly didn't help that I have a very androgynous face and don't like to wear make-up 😅 kinda like doll!
I had a doll like this when I was little! She was my favorite (and only, but that's because she was the only one I ever wanted)! She was a dark skinned Barbie with long curls down to her waist and augh she was so pretty and I loved her
BlackDawnYaoiLover that’s nice. I had a few of the older version Barbies with usually long hair that was more wavy than curly or the short hair ones. Didn’t have any rooted guy dolls either. This looks like a great line
I need them!! Looks like there's a lot of quality and details in the dolls. I'm really glad that the hatred for them has diminished, they're a fabulous idea.
Actually my daughter wants boy dolls too. Cuse she has cousins that are boys. And she likes to share them. Either they like to pick the girl or the boy. But knowing my daughter. She be putting them in her remote control cars. Crashing them lol. Cuse believe me. She has some barbies that she saids that are to girly. But she has some that are total tomboys haha. And these are perfect dolls for her.

It won't be too long now.
mattel needs to bring these dolls back, they are perfect body donors for Stacie and Skipper
The dolls look very gender neutral, so ppl of any gender can rock either short or long hair👌that's why in my opinion the wigs look kinda awkward here, I wish they would stick to just short or long rooted hair or make their heads without hair (maybe even with molded or painted hair)
These dolls looks super cool the fact that you can have male or female is amazing clothes not gonna lie those outfits are to die for can’t wait till they come out💜😊💜💚😍💚
My nonbinary heart is gushing right now 💕💕
SAME
Ay I’m non-binary, too!
I was nonbinary when I was a kid in highschool too!
You'll grow out of it
I'm not non-binary but as a supporter, I'm glad to see more smiles and validation in the community
@@RainyRunningRiver I'm 21, but glad to know trolls have nothing better to do
Toya, if you poured hot water over the wigs do you think they'd look more natural?
That's a pretty good idea.
Non-binary/ Gender-fluid dolls? Yes please!
That one random Gaming angel ikr?! i’m so happy!!
Ikr! Where were these when I was little?
Non-binary dolls had already existed years ago, just not with these clothes.
YES YES YES, I would have given my left arm for something like this in my childhood!!!!! Who am I kidding?! Going on the Christmas list
the last one was my favorite because it looked like jade!
WOW!!! this is amazing and truly a step in the right direction for dolls and toys in general!
I LOVE this because HOLY HELL this will completely screw with people with a rigid sense of gender binary. As a nonbinary person, I LOVE these!
Hehe, yup, narrow-minded bigots are losing their minds already. 😂
My feelings towards Mattel for coming up with this genius idea is just "SLAYYYYYY!!!!!!" and as a Trans person myself, I am glad to see dolls that are very inclusive and NOT rooted in outdated gender roles!
i just love that there’s no specific gender, you can just make whoever you want! we stan (and yes i know i’m a year late)
They’re non-binary and I love this! This is is innovative and it’s by Mattel! That’s amazing!
Ikr! It's super cool to see non-binary dolls!
I myself am nonbinary and these dolls make me SOOOOO freaking happy. Once I have enough money saved up I'm definitely gonna get a few!!
@@rachelnelson3765 Me too! Lol, I screeched out loud with excitement when I found out about them. It's so awesome that a major toy company is recognizing non-binary and trans folks. I only had enough money to order two dolls (I got the one with light curly hair and the one with braids) but I think I'll definitely be trying to collect as many as I can.
But they're ugly they don't look nonbinary they look like little boys
Heck yeah!!!! 💜💛🖤🤍
These dolls are so amazing I love them cause u can mix and match accesories and clothing and u can make the doll a boy, girl, or gender neutral
So happy Mattel sent you these! I NEED THEM ALL!!!!!!
💜 They look sooo cute!! They remind me of Ever After High💜💜
🤔
I love them all! But I think the doll with curly sandy blond hair is my favorite. I am beside myself with excitement over these dolls. I have always been a fan of mix and match wardrobes and accessories. I also really love the fact that it is gender neutral so it can be whatever you want. :)
I love it how Mattel makes these other sets and have so much detail like denim jeans and zippers, but when it comes to things like Barbie dolls, they are just like: "ok, slap this pink fabric on this one"
lol
These dolls are amazing! So inventive! Love it!
I love how inclusive these dolls are, and picking their outfits is so fun. You can tell where Mattel's budget is going.
Cute little Dolls. It is amazing to see how the appearance changes with a different Hairstyle and fashion. Hopefuly they find their way across the big sea to Europe/Germany... Greetings from Germany to all your dollfriends.
LOVE THIS DOLL LINE WITH ALL MY LIFE!
Diversity ✅
Mix n Match Fashion ✅
Articulated Body ✅
Different fabrics for the clothing ✅
AND MANY MORE CHECKS!!
What I absolutely love from this line is of course the possibilities, and how it’s up to you to dress the doll. Feminine? ✅ Masculine? ✅ Both? ✅✅✅
And also, no gender limit for the doll, AT ALL! Boys and girls can play it without any kind of limitation. Love the equality💖
I hope Mattel will keep this line up, and of course, KEEP THE QUALITY, Creatable Worlds starting off really great imo, I hope it will be positively received by everyone!
As a Trans guy, im so happy they made these and it makes me happier that you are reviewing!!❤️ i love this so much!
Now these are dolls suitable for children.
Very good quality.
Thank so much for the review.
I love the shark one!!!!!
Toya sounds very excited when it includes doll, I like it
I love their faces it's so adorable!! ❤❤✨
Real fun concept, glad Mattel sponsored you taking a look at it!
Is it weird that I want to see head swaps using these dolls? 🤔
Nope, my first thought was if I could put a Ken head on their bodies. I need an articulated Ken!
when I first heard of this I thought oh here we go but watching this video my imagination is going wild. I'm sure my 6 year old would love this!
I'm loving these characters!
So happy with these DOLLS!!
As a genderfluid teenager, this is absolutely amazing to me. I literally cannot wait to get one of these dolls!
I love how excited froggy gets about the jacket having a zipper.😂
The pockets for these dolls are deeper than any I’ve ever seen for adult female pants 😂
That's one thing I can definitely appreciate. We girls have to carry our cell phones around, too -- why should we be limited to shallow, angular side pockets on our clothes that won't securely hold much of anything, and are just for show?
I was gunna say, why does a doll get real pockets but I don’t?! LoL this is awesome!
As a young Non binary person myself,I can say I love these.I wish I was out so I could ask for these :(
Same!
get well soon
@@lurji what
I love that you can choose to go genderless, gendered, or somewhere in between! The options for creativity are so cool! Plus the price is pretty nice for the amount of stuff.
Go froggy! I love all your videos! I hope you have a great day! I have a request: will you please make a mini urban outfitters? Love you!!
WoW! thanks so much for noticing my comment! Thanks for making me smile every day!
I'm so glad I finally have a doll that looks remotely like me. :D Short hair and skirts! WOO!
this is amazing. I'm so happy they arent a geared towards a certain gender
Yet it will be mostly little girls who will play with them- and will be discontinued and put on heavy clearance just like the Shera dolls ❤
@@RainyRunningRiver you don't know that. Boys like playing with dolls too and they can personalize these dolls however they want to
Bull💩. This is geared at girls. They all look feminine. Out of 10 boys, how many do you think is going to ask for this doll for Xmas?
@@OutsideTheRopes Clearly you don't know what gender neutral means. Also, boys like to play with dolls as much as girls, you just must not know any boys who like playing with dolls.
@@OutsideTheRopes And how many parents of boys will be allowing their boys to get dolls? It's not the product, it's the parents. This is NOT geared only towards girls and it's visible, you're just looking through a biased lens :) try to avoid that!
I screamed so much when these first came out because they made me feel included the doll with light brown hair looks like me
I love them!!! Thanks for the review.
I think that's the point
I agree! The plastic on the wigs totally look like headbands.
finally us gender non conforming people can have dolls like us! ive been wanting something like this so badly!!
I dont get why there is outrage over these dolls they are amazing!
I don’t either!! Let’s just let the homophobes be homophobes 🙄🙄🙄
5:20 I actually have that hair cut lol (minus the design lol, just shaved). I havent seen many dolls with my haircut. No idea why I'm pointing this out but I just think it's funny for some reason lol. It's called an undercut.
I'm 15 and stop playing with dolls a long time ago but these are so cute I really want one
I love these dolls in fact I’m asking for one for Christmas. Even though I’m not a mom this is a perfect gift if you have a boy and girl.
Dude, as someone who is not only a doll lover but also an artist who could used these for modeling, I need these dolls.
As a young and LGBT active teen, I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you name, it's old Celtic and means dweller by the waterfall.
My heart is exploding of joy and my doll has been ordered. I owe this to my 8 years old me. Thank you Mattel.
I would love to see a curly dark skinned doll too with the long curls
I had a doll like this when I was little! She was my favorite (and only, but that's because she was the only one I ever wanted)! She was a dark skinned Barbie with long curls down to her waist and augh she was so pretty and I loved her
BlackDawnYaoiLover that’s nice. I had a few of the older version Barbies with usually long hair that was more wavy than curly or the short hair ones. Didn’t have any rooted guy dolls either. This looks like a great line
Love the new collection of dolls.
They all look better as boys🤨🧐
I want one sooooo bad!
Brilliant froggy 🐸 !
The best dolls I ever seen
this is a great effort and these dolls actually look non binary, an actually successful attempt and it looks great!!!
I need them!! Looks like there's a lot of quality and details in the dolls. I'm really glad that the hatred for them has diminished, they're a fabulous idea.
Toya, I need to see a Barbie head transplant! I need to know if these bodies work on younger dolls like Skipper or something!
Love this. Been buying certain toys my daughter would really want and enjoy. For xmas. This goes on the list🤓
If your daughter is anything like my nieces she would be really upset and ask why she got a boy doll
So cute! You should give them all cute gender-neutral names!!
Also getting major Unicorn Store vibes from those paint splatter overalls!!
These dolls also look like they’d be great customization fodder!!
Love the short fro, the curly blonde, and the curly black hair ones. As soon as I get mine, I'm changing the braids into locs so that the front of the hair will blend better! I love these!
