Great Stirrup Cay is NCL’s private island and there is no charge to enjoy the island. Drinks and food are just like on the ship. Only fees is if you want to do something extra like the Villas. Thanks for watching.
We appreciate your thoughts. We thought the lack of crowds, better food venues, and personalized drink service to your villa and loungers on the beach were perks that also gave value. While we did not spend much time in the villa, it was nice to have our own restroom, area to change, and even shower once we got out of the ocean. We will note that the prices (as it seems everything with cruising these days) has gone up a good bit since we were there last. In fact, we will be there next week on another cruise and will not be doing the villas as they do not represent the value that we thought it once did. Thanks. We have only sailed Royal Caribbean once (videos to come as we can edit) but never been to their island. Would love to see and compare.

Why would anyone want to spend all that extra money on an air conditioned bedroom villa when you’re only there for the day to enjoy the sea and sand?
