There was a mic'd up video the Texans posted. After that first pass to Nico you showed, CJ went up to him saying, "My bad, I need to get that in front of you."

Being a Chicago fan, I hadn't had many opportunities to watch Stroud play. I was anxious to watch and have to admit last year was no fluke. The Bears defense played a great game and coverage looked better than I would have anticipated even knowing how good our secondary is. Stroud is and will be a superstar if he stays healthy. There's a possibility we'll have a star as well. hopefully the GMs will pay attention to the offensive lines and keep these two protected. Even though the Bears lost and it was a low scoring game, this kid was fun to watch.
Also, the demeanor of Williams while listening to Stroud give him advice after the game didn't appear to be disrespectful to me. The guy had a lousy day at the office and just wanted to get out of there.

@@doublecrossedswine112 Im not crazy about the game plan so far. The coaches see more than we do in their players at practice so can't really say why they call the plays they call. Purdy threw for 319 yards vs the Vikings lmao and a TD and Mason rushed for 100 yards and a TD. Idk why you’re acting like they shut down SF. I mean technically the Bears shutdown Houston but in reality if Mixon doesn’t get hurt and Akers doesn’t fumble right at the goal line, this game ends 26-10? Or 13? And doesn’t really look like a close game at all…

I agree with your assessment that CJ got lucky a couple times in the second half. Overall, I thought he played really well, but was victimized by a couple drops. Maybe 40-90 yards worth and possibly a TD.
