I've used Photoshop since I was in my pre-teens. At age 31 today I just decided to get Illustrator and am already not regretting any second of it. The things you can do that I've been wasting so much time on to get right on Photoshop is nuts. This is a great tutorial! I'm making some space-themed graphics so this will help me get a basic idea of how I want to start! Subbed =)

This (like all of your tutorials) was really well presented and easy to follow. Thank you for putting in the work to make these :)

    Thank you for this tutorial.
Can you please tell us the value of the Cyan blue you used for the under glow effect? 11:26
It's so bright, also I guess the middle dark blue's opacity is knocked down considerably.

I used the cyan blue of #00e5fa. It fades out since the second darker blue (#0028fa) is set to 30% opacity on the gradient slider. Hope that helps!
