    Great tips! I can’t wait to try them! I’m so happy you have made these video series on the E major partita. I’m not currently studying them with my teacher, but it helps a lot when I want to experiment on my own to see what I can do. :)

    Hello Maestro! Thank for for the great instructional video. I’m currently working on the first page (GS Schirmer book), and I have a simple question about measures 2 and 5: is it absolutely necessary to keep the first finger down on E the entire measure? I can only seem to keep it down to stop the b and e at the same time but then I just move the first finger to only b when playing the f, g and a (otherwise the f,g and a with 4th finger do not resonate much). Thank you again!

      You gotta do what you gotta do. Before giving up on the bridge, try the passage while pulling your left elbow around to the right (from your perspective while playing). Moving the elbow will give your fingers more leverage to put full strength into the string. Let me know if this solves the issue.
