While I can't say how good it'll be, there will be another anime coming out covering volleyball called 2.43 (the height in cm of the volleyball net). I imagine that Haikyuu fans will watch it as a substitute for Haikyuu itself haahah (myself included). I will forever miss this series ;-;
I want Nishinoya as the libero. Just because we rarely see him and for me he is the BEST libero in the series as he was technically the one who shut ushijima down.

honestly atsumu is tied with kageyama, well, atsumu is atleast the best server, he had the most service aces in the final game but kageyama was said to have gotten 5 service aces in a row against france, but they're both really good setters and have been rival setters since highschool, not sure which is better but both are about equal in raw setting ability

I was crying reading this chapter but I’m so happy that kageyama and hinata are playing together in the national team! I was so emotional when hinata acted as a decoy for bokuto so he could get a score in and it felt nostalgic(?) that kageyama got tricked by hinata cuz now he’s in the receiving end of decoy hinata (a role he helped hinata grow to love)-also the kageyama, kindaichi and kunimi moment made me so happy cuz finally they resolved their broken friendship and theyve finally seen how kageyama has changed from the dictator he used to be and that he still wants to play with them lol anyway im so upset that haikyuu is ending cuz i was so late to the party but my heart so sad but so happy that hinata finally beats kageyama (especially since he said he wanted to beat kageyama cuz he is the best skilled player of his age so yh) also Hinata’s leg kick got me so hypeeeeee! I felt as though haikyuu was a bit rushed when I first heard it’s ending but I think I’m happy now . This chapters name is promise and there where truly so many promises in this chapter. The promise kageyama made to his grandfather, hinata and kags promise to eachother, kindaichi kunimi and kageyama and maybe the shimizu part. The last chapter might be sad at first but I believe it will be great. Thankyou furudate for the amazing series. I’ve truly learned a lot from this manga and anime.
at first when I saw the time skip I was kinda annoyed. but then I realised it took over 360 chapters just to do the first year for hinata. so I realised that there would be way too many chapters for the first 3 years making the series become stale, so I like the choice
The libero of the team has to be komori, i want to see the number 1 high school libero in action. And i think sakusa will make the national team too because his defense is one of the best and his offense is next lvl (the spin he puts on the ball gives evereybody a hard time)

I just realized when hinata got that last spike in, it was like the first spike from the beginning of the show. It even had the positioning right with kageyama near the middle and hinata running to the opposite side

So Haikyuu will end in a few days. I just can't believe it. My fav sports manga/anime of all time. Thank you Furudate, for this amazing masterpiece. Also a theory about Nishinoya and Oikawa. What if they're half Italian and half Argentine respectively? Just like Lev who was half Russian. There is a possibility that these 3 might have decided to represent their secondary countries as they know they can't beat this "Monster Generation" for a place in National Team. I hope it is true since we will be able to get to see glimpses of them in the 2020 Olympics.
I think Oikawa represented Argentina because one of the players who represented Argentina inspired oikawa to love volleyball, it's what I've heard but I could be wrong

SPOILER: In the latest(and sadly the last) chapter of manga it is specified that Oikawa became a naturalized citizen of Argentina by living and playing there since he was 21. So he's an Argentinian now and hence represented Argentina in 2020 Olympics. Sorry for the spoiler if you haven't read the last chapter already.

I know that people wanted Hinata to be the one to score the final point of this match but I think how its written is honestly PERFECT. Hinata was the ultimate decoy and in the moment where the people on the court and even the readers thought hed win it for them, he once again fools us all as the ultimate decoy and sets it up for his mentor and team's ace: Bokuto, who now instead of being that kinda aloof and goofy ace we remember from season 2, is now a battle hardened veteran. Its also kinda cool how its almost like a redemption in a way where he had come SO close to winning the Spring Tournament(literally just 2 points away)and now in the final match we see in the biggest moment of the match he comes through and delivers when his team needs him most, when a team would almost certaintly look to their ace to lead them to victory. Just another example of how amazing Furudate is as a writer.
My Japan National Team: I made one before but that was before the time skip post nationals which throw everything out the window Blockers - Fukurō Hirugami, Shūgo Meian, Yudai Hyakuzawa, Rintaro Suna Spikers - Wakatoshi Ushijima, Kiyoomi Sakusa, Korai Hoshiumi, Kotaro Bokuto, Hinata Shoyo, Wakatsu Kiryu Setters - Tobio Kageyama, Atsumu Miya Libero - Motoya Komori All characters that play in division 1 of the V.League. Also all most players we've seen/met before. Plus it'd be cool to see Komri in action and see how much Hyakuzawa has grown since high school. I think the final match should be against Brazil with Nicolas and Heitor on the Brazil national team. Put Oikawa Tsukishima and the others in the background somewhere
Some story ideas for a Haikyuu spin-off or fanfictions: Oikawa overseas in the Argentina League, Kageyama playing overseas, the rest of the V.League season with Hinata and the Black Jackals going around meeting old friends, Tsukishima in the V.League Division 2 going around playing and (hopefully) getting promoted into Division 1. International Competitions and of course Hinata's 2nd and 3rd year in high school
Wth do u mean by finally beat kageya ....they have been fighting since their high school .. as a proof in the manga it says 1099 wins and 1100 loses for hinata ❤️
Wish Furudate can make an epilogue chapter just to tie in the missing parts of the story. Like a little summary of Shoyo and the gangs 2nd and 3rd year. There's still some stuff missing there as well as Tsukishima in the Sendai Frogs and the rest of the season. And most importantly the Olympics Argentina vs Japan. The last panel doesn't need changing. It's better to leave it ambiguous.

Hey, just something i wanna recommend. In my opinion, don’t put spoilers in the title since people haven’t really finished the manga and it kinda ruins everything. I myself have not finished manga and is kinda disappointed.
just finished the last chapter. I literally had the Above OST from the anime playing in my head during that final play, such an incredible finish. The overall final arc and the timeskip make me appreciate the way Nationals ended with Hinata getting sick and the team flailing without his presence. It might've seemed like an anti-climactic finish for the Nationals arc but that one moment was the catalyst leading to this final match years later.
imagine if they redid the training camp they did back in the day now with a few extra people like from shiratorizawa and stuff. How many "famous" people can you have under one roof?
I think haikyu is about development of each characters that why it did not much focused about the league competitions too much but shown developments in each important characters who really love volleyball. There will always be a league game, but the players are the most important.

I just realized when hinata got that last spike in, it was like the first spike from the beginning of the show. It even had the positioning right with kageyama near the middle and hinata running to the opposite side

Also a theory about Nishinoya and Oikawa. What if they're half Italian and half Argentine respectively? Just like Lev who was half Russian. There is a possibility that these 3 might have decided to represent their secondary countries as they know they can't beat this "Monster Generation" for a place in National Team. I hope it is true since we will be able to get to see glimpses of them in the 2020 Olympics.
I think Oikawa represented Argentina because one of the players who represented Argentina inspired oikawa to love volleyball, it's what I've heard but I could be wrong

In the latest(and sadly the last) chapter of manga it is specified that Oikawa became a naturalized citizen of Argentina by living and playing there since he was 21. So he's an Argentinian now and hence represented Argentina in 2020 Olympics. Sorry for the spoiler if you haven't read the last chapter already.

I know that people wanted Hinata to be the one to score the final point of this match but I think how its written is honestly PERFECT. Hinata was the ultimate decoy and in the moment where the people on the court and even the readers thought hed win it for them, he once again fools us all as the ultimate decoy and sets it up for his mentor and team's ace: Bokuto, who now instead of being that kinda aloof and goofy ace we remember from season 2, is now a battle hardened veteran. Its also kinda cool how its almost like a redemption in a way where he had come SO close to winning the Spring Tournament(literally just 2 points away)and now in the final match we see in the biggest moment of the match he comes through and delivers when his team needs him most, when a team would almost certaintly look to their ace to lead them to victory. Just another example of how amazing Furudate is as a writer.

Some story ideas for a Haikyuu spin-off or fanfictions:
Oikawa overseas in the Argentina League, Kageyama playing overseas, the rest of the V.League season with Hinata and the Black Jackals going around meeting old friends, Tsukishima in the V.League Division 2 going around playing and (hopefully) getting promoted into Division 1. International Competitions and of course Hinata's 2nd and 3rd year in high school
Wth do u mean by finally beat kageya ....they have been fighting since their high school .. as a proof in the manga it says 1099 wins and 1100 loses for hinata ❤️

Wish Furudate can make an epilogue chapter just to tie in the missing parts of the story. Like a little summary of Shoyo and the gangs 2nd and 3rd year. There's still some stuff missing there as well as Tsukishima in the Sendai Frogs and the rest of the season. And most importantly the Olympics Argentina vs Japan. The last panel doesn't need changing. It's better to leave it ambiguous.

just finished the last chapter. I literally had the Above OST from the anime playing in my head during that final play, such an incredible finish. The overall final arc and the timeskip make me appreciate the way Nationals ended with Hinata getting sick and the team flailing without his presence. It might've seemed like an anti-climactic finish for the Nationals arc but that one moment was the catalyst leading to this final match years later.

I think haikyu is about development of each characters that why it did not much focused about the league competitions too much but shown developments in each important characters who really love volleyball.
There will always be a league game, but the players are the most important.
