I'm a hospital pharmacist in the US and the stroke alerts are always the ones that get me on the edge because of how crucial it is to get the meds given in the time window. Banger song and it'll be in my top rock playlist. This will be played non stop for at least a day or more

@@Beardmeatsfood Stroke Survivor here. 2 years (in Jan) covid very nearly killed me. The Stroke Association were amazing.
My dad had a light stroke and went to the hospital by his own. He was waiting for few hours for a doctor to see him. He had a 2nd and a 3rd more severe strokes inside the hospital that left him disorder. He never recovered fully and it was a very painful situation for the whole family. I still cant believe how the doctors let that happened and if it was something they could do about it. Unfortunately I lost him 3 years a ago.
@@enlathxaind178 That is terrible to hear that your father and family had to go through that. I hope they learned from that experience: I'm surprised that it took so long as (at least where I'm at) the protocols should have kicked in; however, based on current experience, the system is overloaded

As a stroke survivour (Had a minor stroke in July) I appreciate this a lot, I had a great team helping me learn to gain the use of my left arm & leg back, learning to grip things, learning to dress myself, I don't think I could have managed without them supporting me & keeping my spirits up when I felt frustrated & low.
I can't lie. This had me dancing in my seat! I loved it, honestly. Can't wait to show this to my own bearded food lover when he gets home. On another note, my grandfather had a stroke a few years ago, and a second smaller one shortly after. He still has his spark and his wit, but it did make him friends with a walker. Thank you for raising awareness about this - I watched him struggle to drink water when visiting him in the hospital and it hurt to see him so frustrated. Thank you and everyone who helped create this. May you and yours have a wonderful and magic filled holiday!

Well done, I'm in Ireland and my son had a stroke when he was 21 after brain surgery, which left him blind and parallised down his left side, thankfully after a lot of rehab he can now walk, no real use of his left arm but eyesight has improved, BTW he will be 37 in 28mins time 15th Feb 💕 happy birthday Liam xxx💖
