I'm so happy to see Silver Lake videos. It's my favorite place in the mountains.

That Donkey You roped @6:00 was a real beauty!, Baby had back. And her soulful eyes told me she was more than just a hatchery fish.

Hatchery all the way, cut fin indicates, that's all your going to catch by where the creek flows in, the BIG brownies hang by the outlet to rush creek !!!!

@@danielleon4295 I’ve caught a few good browns by the inlet and in the back of the lake where rush comes in

You are 100% correct about releasing the fish. It would greatly enhance the eastern Sierra lakes.

Freakin toads! Great numbers. Y'all hammered them. That's a beautiful lake up there too.
I was thinking about heading up there in a week for the 1st time. Do these lakes stay cool enough through July and August to keep the fish active? Thanks for sharing, tight lines to ya gentlemen.

@@mr.striper6296 thank you 🙏 yes they are definitely cold enough there still in the 40s with all the cold water pouring in from the melting snow and most are very deep. I’ll be up there next weekend but I’ll be headed to mammoth lakes like Mary and george and also to the Virginia lakes there around 9 thousand ft so even cooler . Fish on ! 🎣

Estevan. Great videos. I have just started fishing again after many years back east on New England trout rivers. I have been using your online store to stock up on quality gear. thanks… One silly question…what should I be wearing under my waders when fishing up in the Eastern Sierras. I am now 74 years old and turning my grandson who is 12 onto fishing now. We live down in San Diego. I grew up on another Silver Lake back in New York and am looking forward to our first spring trip next year to the Silver Lake on the June Lake loop. Thanks for all the tips..Dan G.

That’s so awesome I’m glad your fishing again 🙏 The eastern Sierra is like a fountain of youth you will absolutely love it . Definitely get some under armor or long johns and some thick warm sweats and a good pair of wool socks and you should be fine . Thanks for all the support. Good luck and fish on !
