I’m glad the helm thing is finally done yelling at me but now I’m having the world event notifications pop up over and over again. I’ve had to join the event then quit in order to get them to stop
they havent removed rogue ships they just stopped them spawning in the noob area you will still find them if you go plundering supply lanes , think they got the wrong problem though i think its helm spawned ships (from doing Po8 runs) that are murdering people around saint anne.
The one issue ive had is alot of disconnections, ive got really good internet etc but i do play in new Zealand and i dont think they have an Oceania server just yet. Grats on the 1k subs bro, found your channel when i was looking for actual content and not just pure hate 😂
So this fixed caused another problem. The helm delivery missions are now showing 1 location but then require you to go to a much further hideout for delivery.
Congrats on hitting 1000! It's obvious that people are excited about this game and they come to your channel for actual content and not Ubisoft hate videos as everyone else is doing👍

I think the majority of the bad press is due to people not knowing what the game was about and was expecting something different like a full rpg. Secondly every single game now gets review bombed by crybabies who couldn’t make anything better yet they are experts in the industry….
Spamming the endgame? I just started the game and got spammed by deathmark messages as soon as i set foot in the first hub. Damn that made it hard to play lol
Did not have a problem with the LVL10 ships. The only issue was if i got off and mine business got full when i get on tthe lvl 10 where everwhere. But once they was taken out it was simple.
I hope they add a slider for how often the NPCs keep spamming their conversation statements. It’s getting annoying hearing crew saying stuff too often and that lady talking about swimming. Also the NPCs are saying raising sails when lowering and lowering when raising.
I'm wondering they have disabled Voice and text chat due to the surrounding bad press the game is getting right now, it is kind of refreshing not seeing walls of texts on my screen I rarely read and using the fireworks to say thank you and hello but Voice comms would be nice to reactivate when the raid/group content is more flushed out, as you mentioned in your previous video most friends would jump on Discord anyway to communicate so it's not a huge deal. Can anyone enlighten me on what this Death Mark feature even is?
Nah, there was a bug with the text chat that was crashing the game on consoles. It would show up on PC, but not crash the game. For the death mark, if you attack a helm ship (like the roving supply/delivery ones), you get hunted by helm ships for an hour or until they sink you.
They definitely made the right choice to remove the death marked feature for now. It was not only a visual bug but there was another bug from destroying a supplier ship that could make you become permanently death marked while being chased relentlessly by rogues when it should be recinded after an hour lol. People were also using this bug to grief 😂
3:28 voice communication is not difficult. Voice communication that they can properly control and sensor is they want to have full control over what people can say in here. That's why it's difficult. Perfect censorship doesn't exist because we will always find a way around it

Endgame? I had that message pop up right after i unlocked the helm which was in the first 10h xD i tried to ignore it once but then it blocked my view during a hectic battle 😂 i was laughing still because it was my own fault for refusing to restart
They had like 8 years to make the game I pre ordered and should not have to wait to talk to ppl or chat with ppl it's a big void in a game like this that is pvp pve can't properly do pvp without voice chat or events atleast need message chat other then that I'm enjoying the game and am pursuing that top 100 ps5 rank currently around 1500 last I checked its a grind 4 sure lol

Haven’t played suicide squad but I disagree, this launch has been awful. And crash wise Iv had a few but the worst are the hard locks where you have to unplug your Xbox to fix it, and that’s not just happened to me multiple times but also to my wife, 2 of my friends that I know of and random other people. But yeah if they finally stopped the helm death mark spam thank god because it was a bitch to deal with while talking to an npc. Also is anyone else unable to collect rent from the Dutch megafort?
Honestly, if this is aaaa gaming I want to backslide hard into aaa or even aa gaming because paying 70+ dollars for a game that has broken mechanics that need to be removed (temporarily or not) within the first few weeks just ain’t it.
How tf did these glaring holes not get patched during the beta or 7 years of creating and testing lmao it makes no sense to me and I'm not a hater, I kinda like this weird lil game. I don't know if I can put more money into it though, definitely not worth that.

Those mechanics work best in single player games. It would clash with the naval combat system in a live service setting and would be prone to vulnerabilities from griefing AI and PvP players.
Now they just need to sliiiide the world event notifications to the top center of the screen as to not block the UI as much.

That fix on ps5 increased the events for me as well on the map. Lots of coop stuff popping up now

Xbox mostly crashes when crossplay is turned off. I have had no crashes with crossplay on.
