This suggests to me the ship wasn't exactly marooned underwater, but was operating independently this whole time, either as an asset to the radical Erusean faction that kicked off the Lighthouse War, or as part of a not-yet-ID'd non-state entity like AC0's A World With No Boundaries. -Even a small-scale nuclear attack, despite the comparatively low death count, would have major socioeconomic consequences for the recipient. His exoneration in the matter of assassinating Harling has not yet been revealed, so it's a political liability that one of the most infamous criminals in the Osean military is now spearheading its push to victory. If Trigger helps take Farbanti, it would be unacceptable in the eyes of some senior military officials, and aside from getting him killed, if it can be demonstrated that he wasn't necessary to the operation's success, they can order him to stand down, and quietly downplay his contributions to the war effort, maybe even get him back in the stockade. @@TugaAvenger Yeah probably. I started off with PLSL Su-57 since its what I'm most comfortable with, after a while swapped to EML X-02 hoping thatd get me thru it, still took a while but managed to sink it eventually.
Oh! You used the Gripen the first time too? I love that plane, it is so small and cute. Each of these missions I played first in the Gripen on hard, then went back in with my SU-57 to tear them up on Ace.
1. So this is what Trigger and his colleagues did before midnight mission for capturing Erusea's airfield on September 16. 2. Unfortunately, that computer is about to be shut down; due to worldwide telecommunications disruption. 3. Don't you see, Captain Torres? This is the salvation for you!
This game is truly a masterpiece I want those maps for multiplayer I know they have plans for the next title but I honestly want them to expand on this more like new maps preferably the nostalgic maps from the older series and some of the older planes as well I got this game on my birthday back in February. Ace combat 7 and the holy trinity are my favorites of the franchise as well as the others too I hope they expand on this game more I really do
That was quite the conclusion there! I am not without my gripes regarding this mission, especially how... easy it could be (But then again, makes sense LACMs would shit on the Alicorn), but man, that scenery is gorgeous, and the music is great indeed!
It was epic. It is similar to what happened in Ace Combat 5. Using the Gripen E is brillant idea. But that doesn't change the fact that the biggest tragedy in the history of Ace Combat has been prevented. How do you sum up all three missions? In a word: they are interesting. Although it is a bit unsatisfied with the inability to fly EA-18G, MIG-29K or receive new skins for Rafale M and Su-47. Time will show how Project Aces will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ace Combat series and sustain interest in AC7. You can add CFA-44 or XFA-27, but fighters from our world or Tornado, F-16F, F-16 Block 70/72, Su-27, Su-24, Su-25, the whole family of MiG-29 fighters, Rafale, Gripen (C/D/F/EW/M), Typhoon, F-15SE, F-35A, F-35B as well as unrealized projects in the form of F-15N, FB-22, F-22B and F-22N are the best for the AC world.
This mission happened on september 14th. In SP1 david north asks "how can we do this without killing three strikes?"... on september 19th. Unless PA simply made a mistake, I feel like we still have more stuff coming.
I'm thinking PLSL is the way to go for high scores, though. You absolutely need a dual-purpose SPW. Tried playing through without any A2G and holy crap, it is something else.

He spent years at the bottom of the sea until eventually being rescued, so the guy is a little off. However, his twisted thinking is that if you detonate a nuke over Oured killing a million people, Osea would call for peace to end the war. His plan also entailed killing more if that plan failed. Kind of like Capt. Hamilton in AC5:
That’s probably unlikely in most cases. In the VR missions, it’s revealed Mobius 1 is still flying missions, although now under the IUN PKF instead of ISAF. Torres is probably dead tho, but Trigger did that deed, not Erusean superiors.
@@anthonygrande6300 Yep, Operation Katina in AC5 and the AC7 VR missions were Mobius 1's post-Continental War endeavors. @OP, There's a hidden easter egg in AC6's Chandelier mission where the radio chatter of the Estovakians is begging Cipher to shoot down Garuda 1, so he's still alive then. Gryphus 1 probably had no need to fight again because the southern hemisphere hasn't really had a whole lot of conflict. Pretty sure Blaze and Kei Nagase lived happily ever after until she went to space.
Mobius 1 is in an international peacekeeping force, so politics don't have too much influence Blaze is only around when Harling still alive Cipher and Phoenix are mercenaries Griphus 1... I'm not sure
I'm kinda mixed about this mission: the boss fight itself is incredible, one of the best superweapon fights I've ever seen in the series, but everything else around it feels like one of those gimmicky-filler missions from AC5, and that's not exactly a praise from me... Also, is it just me, or are the S-Rank requirements for this one much more strict than usual? I had to try 4-5 times on Ace to finally get it, never happened to me on any other mission in the series. Anyway, after the awesomeness of Anchorhead Raid I was hoping for something more, but I can't really complain: in the end all of the DLC missions are well worthy of their price, and I certainly hope this will be the quality bar PA will keep for their next works.
The Hit knocked it down a good couple degrees, considering the position the alicorn was in I think the idea was it was going to land a few thousand miles short in in the sea. That doesn't mean it's completely safe, sucks for some poor cruiser/tanker/trawler/ferry/tug/row boat/etc. ship lol
Dulanjala007 300, actually. Torrez was right about one thing: We killed 300 to save a million. But we had a good reason, which is the one thing Torres didn’t have.
Just a small request for a future playthrough of this mission: would you please replace the music with the OSTs used in the Hrimfaxi and Scinfaxi missions? Maybe have Trigger cosplay as Blaze too (or Blaze hijacking Trigger's spot to teach the old man (the 'Faxi-class sub) one last lesson)?
Rather than thinking of a scenario for this mission, I'll do the opposite - I have one thought out, but I didn't have the perfect mission for it. Until now.
Mission 2 was better. Mission 3 throws all the interesting stuff about Osea trying to backstab trigger out of the window. Wiseman doesn’t fly any of these missions which makes me wonder if he was kinda in on that as not to become collateral. Because after this is capturing the airport to attack farbanti with where he gets killed by Mihlay.
The backstab arc was finished in M2 - the conspirators concluded it wasn't worth it, probably by reaching the same conclusions Alex did - , and that was that. It just wasn't very explicit, aside from Clemens being the fall guy because Mimic still showed up.
Wait a minute, is this mission meant to be speedrun (and grab as many enemies as you can while you're at it of course) rather than high scored? I know I'm not AS good as Tuga but geez, 90k and still no S? And this was on Normal difficulty. Oof. Edit: As Yayo mentioned, this is "perhaps the end for AC7's life cycle", give or take the extra few skins coming out. If that's the case, I hope enough of us bought the game to warrant an AC8. And I can dream of having co-op multi in AC8 like in Infinity, right?...
Yeah, very much so. The SLUAVs and Rafale are infinite in any case, so it really drags on otherwise. I believe you need >110k to score an S without a time bonus.
@@TugaAvenger 110k? Yikes, that's going to take way too much memorization and absolute optimization for me to bother with. It's all about the special weapons. I'm about to try without A2Gs myself.
@@TugaAvenger Yeah probably.
I started off with PLSL Su-57 since its what I'm most comfortable with, after a while swapped to EML X-02 hoping thatd get me thru it, still took a while but managed to sink it eventually.
David North reminds me of Harry-Rainbowsix director smh
Oh! You used the Gripen the first time too? I love that plane, it is so small and cute.
Each of these missions I played first in the Gripen on hard, then went back in with my SU-57 to tear them up on Ace.
It has finally come
Ahem...

NotDaEnd bingo
NotDaEnd Hehehe
*DoN't YoU sEe!?* *HahaAhaHa!!* - famous last words of Capt. M. Torres.
Now we gotta pray and wait for next season pass....
The Mimic and SACS skins will probably still be released, they're internally labelled as DLC.
Bamco pls gib F-15S/MTD
Fullband said "Stick with Trigger and you'll make it", and damn is true
It was tabloid who realized it first.
@@dootdoot6130 damn i failed remember that, i'm going solitary in my own
@@matthewmondragon2074 You! Solitary, Now!
Literally only one thing all the dlc missed imo, I wish we got to alongside Mage and golem on le more time
Can't wait to see you get the high score on this mission
Torres’ voice sounds like an insane Markiplier. Just close your eyes and listen.
*DON’T YOU SEE!?*
This mission happened on september 14th. In SP1 david north asks "how can we do this without killing three strikes?"... on september 19th. Unless PA simply made a mistake, I feel like we still have more stuff coming.
I'm having some difficulty doing this mission on Ace.
I thought i was the only one
Crude, but effective
There is! Alicorn! It's time for you to admit you lost!
Meanwhile, I tried this mission with PLSL. Alicorn was an absolute nightmare with its railguns, jammer and those bubble shields. Made it tho
I'm thinking PLSL is the way to go for high scores, though. You absolutely need a dual-purpose SPW. Tried playing through without any A2G and holy crap, it is something else.
I swear, this game cheats something fierce. I've shot those things with the railgun and seen them take no damage, it's maddening.
I came here after watching Zap's gameplay and he just barely made it, literally had 2 seconds left on the clock when he sunk the Alicorn.
For me I just sunk it immediately with the tls lol
That's no fun, you don't put any effort into it when you take it so easily. (No pun intended.)
@@michaellang6627 well for some reason the alicorn didn't even launch any ucav at me when I shoot it with tls
Follow Tuga and you’ll make it!
I have seen a lot of people play these games, but you are by far the best I have ever seen. Have you ever heard of or played a game called HAWX? If you haven't played it, I would love to see you go through that.
I find the story in the DLC missions arcs to be better than the main game tbh.
I hope there will be another season of DLC ;_;
This D L C
Is definitely something l tell my son about
unlike tanager, torres didnt order alicorn to evacuate. trigger to mobius 1, we did it... we killed the man you unknowingly failed to kill back in comberth harbor.
every aces gangsta till torres goes dont u see
laugh is the finally word
*everybody gangsta until the sea starts speaking Latin*
Still no CFA-44 :( it'd be so fun in all three DLC missions
It's coming. Watch the gamescom trailer tomorrow!
*25th anniversary*
So far I only reached to rank A, wish me luck!
That searcher similar in Ace Combat 5
Ironically, DLC missions are twice ACE Combat 7 than the ACE Combat 7 itself.
I think that's just because they're getting back in the groove.
just like the hrimfaxi
Wait a minute, didn't this vid have a stream chat?
I have zero patience for this mission I haven't defeated it on any setting
My current best score is 58850, but I imagine that would be child's play for you, right?
I mean I could try raise that if I let the timer tick down and just keep shooting the SLUAVs, but I don't do that
THIS IS THE BEST WEAPON FOR ALICORN BECOUSE DE NEW DLC WEAPONS FROM AIRCRAFTS ADF 11 AND ADFR RAVEN NO SENSE HERE WHITH ALICORN, BUT LACM IS THE BEST WEAPON FOR ALICORN , WHICH LEVEL YOU COMPLETED? ACE OR HARD?
Is it me or parts of the bgm of TMRP phase 1 reminds me of AC04's Blockade
Same time signature. Similar to Archange.
ok can someone tell me why torres wanted to kill 1 million people to save ten million. how does that even work
Same thing V2 was for.
its called he is fucking crazy lol
He spent years at the bottom of the sea until eventually being rescued, so the guy is a little off. However, his twisted thinking is that if you detonate a nuke over Oured killing a million people, Osea would call for peace to end the war. His plan also entailed killing more if that plan failed.
Kind of like Capt. Hamilton in AC5:
ok thanks. so he's just fucking insane
0:25 does this mean Mobuis 1, Blaze, Cipher, Phoenix, Griphus 1 and all of the heroes (including Matias Torres alias SALVATION man XD) were murdered?
That’s probably unlikely in most cases.
In the VR missions, it’s revealed Mobius 1 is still flying missions, although now under the IUN PKF instead of ISAF.
Torres is probably dead tho, but Trigger did that deed, not Erusean superiors.
No, just making a statement in general. For example, Wardog almost went through the same.
So you mean citizens just need to know what that hero did?
@@anthonygrande6300 Yep, Operation Katina in AC5 and the AC7 VR missions were Mobius 1's post-Continental War endeavors.
@OP, There's a hidden easter egg in AC6's Chandelier mission where the radio chatter of the Estovakians is begging Cipher to shoot down Garuda 1, so he's still alive then. Gryphus 1 probably had no need to fight again because the southern hemisphere hasn't really had a whole lot of conflict. Pretty sure Blaze and Kei Nagase lived happily ever after until she went to space.
Mobius 1 is in an international peacekeeping force, so politics don't have too much influence
Blaze is only around when Harling still alive
Cipher and Phoenix are mercenaries
Griphus 1... I'm not sure
Nothing showing up for the PS4 for some reason
I was kinda hoping that the shot actually hit the city. It would make the story so much more interesting.
I feel it's a bit overlooked that nuclear shell will hit *something*, if not Oured.
The Hit knocked it down a good couple degrees, considering the position the alicorn was in I think the idea was it was going to land a few thousand miles short in in the sea.
That doesn't mean it's completely safe, sucks for some poor cruiser/tanker/trawler/ferry/tug/row boat/etc. ship lol
I thought Torres was goes to fire on the 19th not the 14th
Well he wanted to get there early. But he was found out so he fires on the 14th.
100 lives just lost...
Dulanjala007 300, actually.
Torrez was right about one thing: We killed 300 to save a million. But we had a good reason, which is the one thing Torres didn’t have.
Trigger is a Ranger cuz Rangers lead the way :))
Nice
So hyped
i'm waiting till my birthday to play this
Is it you,re birthday yet?
@@nahmad7080 It already has been you're months late
@@Knight6831 sorry
Just a small request for a future playthrough of this mission: would you please replace the music with the OSTs used in the Hrimfaxi and Scinfaxi missions? Maybe have Trigger cosplay as Blaze too (or Blaze hijacking Trigger's spot to teach the old man (the 'Faxi-class sub) one last lesson)?
Rather than thinking of a scenario for this mission, I'll do the opposite - I have one thought out, but I didn't have the perfect mission for it. Until now.
I am excited and heavily interested to see what you have in store for us! Keep up the awesome uploads!
Warspite and Scharnhorst should be ashamed.
Missing all those juicy dialogue lines by using cruise missiles. You disgust me, you speedrunner. :P
It wasn't intentional! I know LACMs pack a bunch, but I didn't quite calculate how devastating they'd be...
How do play this spicial mission?I mean we do not have this mission or anothers in our game
It's DLC.
Knowing the madlads in the community, I assume there's already a few that have broken 110k. Thought I saw a vid on my thumbnail about one, but didn't watch it at the time since I hadn't played the DLC yet.
Speedrun it is then for me. Thanks boss.
Nah, in this case it's just killing drones and Rafales forever. It's quite boring, frankly.
Aaaaahhhh fhooie, ya killed it too quickly
Ya didnt get to enjoy the fight, unless you did this on a replay
Hey does anybody kn if there is a way to change skins in the story mode of ac7
You'll be able to after you beat each mission.
