    It's nice that Count has a radio on his plane since Full Band IFF debacle. After Wiseman's death, he has done a complete 180°.

      The mention of the radio isn't just a throwback to Full Band; it also explains something that happens later in M19.

    Been a fan of the Ace Combat series since 98, I can definitely say, AC7 is the TRUE sequel to AC5. =) Hell of a plot, and its got "feels" yo.

    Horrifying, as in less than 10 years since the events at AC5, Belka developed its technology. Falsification of identification signals or construction of drones. Especially those of ordinary fighters like the Super Hornet.

    • @TugaAvenger
      @TugaAvenger  5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Thing is, drone and AI development is nothing new for Belka, or Gründer specifically. This is only hinted at through suble clues throughout the game, but Schroeder's work, and the entire Erusian drone program, is an outgrowth of the ZOE program.

    I know I am a bit late but was anyone else blown away at the fact this game included "Kessler Syndrome" as a main plot point?

    • @TugaAvenger
      @TugaAvenger  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Personally, I wasn't, because I guessed it two years in advance (and didn't make a video about it... would have been a hell of bet). It's not a very realistic depiction (it wouldn't be this bad), but it's a fantastic plot point and one's I've been interested for years - after all, Gravity is my favorite film ever.

    This type of mission, in the dead of night, with no world wide communication is perfect for search and destroy operations. It's just too good to be true. It's also the perfect opportunity for the LRSSG to conduct night raids without the enemy even knowing, the same goes for espionage campaigns with all the coups and rebellion fiasco's going on.

    I really love that mission in terms of setting, music and plot, the whole ID mechanic works really well and doesn't overstay its welcome either. Sadly, there are some waiting games, but I don't mind those too much because they let me enjoy the scenery and music here.

      @Casshern Fate Satellite internet access is suuper slow. It's useful for people who live in isolated areas, but you'll be lucky to achieve average speeds of 20 or 30 kb/s.

    F-35 critics say that this fighter is not suitable for CAS missions. But in the right hands, the F-35 can perform such missions. Can airplanes with ultra-modern avionics like Gripen E, F-22A, Su-35S or F-35C operate under such conditions and can modern sensors work without the previously used identification system?
    Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II - on-board version of the first generation multi-purpose fighter. The F-35C version with AC7 differs significantly from the version known from AC5 and ACZ. In the history of Ace Combat there were also F-35B and F-35A. And in my opinion they should join AC7.
    PS: You have to make a list of countries that use all aircraft in AC7 in 2019.

    So here's a fun fact. On this plane, a decal labelled "DANGER JET INTAKE" is present. Of all things, this decal is reused for the ADF-11 Raven and its various offshoots.
    That's one of the absolute weirdest details I just recently noticed.

  • @mannyfur6756

    So, in the end Labarthe's chopper got shot down by a Belkan F-16C drone, or an 'allied' Osean fighter with misinformation comin' from AWACS Argus?

    • @TugaAvenger
      @TugaAvenger  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      The latter.
      What can be confusing is that Argus' line doesn't always play. I didn't hear it until my third time.

    Heh... at this point, it feels weird having the person responsable for developing the UAV drone tecnology at your sight... just one missile... and the end of all this mess... thought... to bad he is with the civilians... hmmm..... kind of wish that at this point, the ending could be different whatever you do here, like, if you dont shoot down the C1, you will have to fight againts the Enhanced drones at the space elevator, BUT! if you shoot down the C1, you could be facing a very enraged Mr X wanting to reveange the death of his grandaughters, it could have be a cool but sad ending. Also... it feels odd... hearing Albert Wesker's voice actor in a game that is not Resident Evil xD

    So Stangereal don’t have undersea internet cables ? Did they abandon them or never bother to make them due to satellites?

    • @TugaAvenger
      @TugaAvenger  5 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      It could be that, or it could be that GPS satellites were knocked down too - something that wouldn't happen due to a Kessler syndrome in low orbit, but they might have been targeted. I'm spilling the beans on my possible video, but the atomic clocks GPS sats carry are used to sync networks. Earth based backups would start desyncing by a few milliseconds soon after, which would probably grind the internet to a halt.

      @The Garden of E sim 117
      You said that. Like I pointed out before, optical cables actually work better than satellites. And ground-based stations and AWACS can also keep global communication running even there are no satellites.
      But hey, given the stupidity of people in this world, you can't expect them to understand commonsense.
