I lve been told once you get past the break in period they pull better. But I herd the ninja 500 is using a 451cc up about 50cc from the ninja 400 and they increased the stroke so that there should be more torque but lower redline. I believe power is about the same as the 400 but just more torque so you don’t have to rev as high to pull……
@@christopherdimotsis1024 Yeah I’ve never ridden just a stock 400 so I didn’t have the best comparison but the 500 felt similar in power down low if I were to compare it to the 400’s I’ve been on. But I have a feeling a lot of that comes from the stock exhaust.
@@SkreetJeebus yea I’m sure I will bro that inline 4 is just heavenly. But I’m happy with my 500 debating if I’m gonna trade it in or not or just have 2 bikes because it’s really just all I need I live in a small town and most of my riding is around town and some highway.
@@Qrides I can see the 500 being a lot easier to ride around town. That’s the only thing I don’t care for with sport bikes is that aggressive seating position unless I’m doing that kind of riding where I’m not stopping all of the time. Other than the ergonomics it was a great bike! I wouldn’t trade the 500 in tho they’ll low ball the hell out of you. Marketplace it and use that for a down payment if you’re going new
@@SkreetJeebus yes that’s what I’ve heard that they low ball tf out of you. But I was gonna try marketplace first it’s just I don’t think I’m gonna get 5,000 out of it I’m almost at 7,000 miles and ion if someone would pay that I think the lowest I could go would be 4,500 or 4,200. I think that’s reasonable
@@Qrides I think you could swing 4200 or 4500 pretty easy. 7k miles isn’t shit for those bikes, but all bikes value drops heavy when you ride them off the lot. I think 4500 is a solid price, I’d post it at 5 and see what offers you get

I absolutely love myn can’t wait to get a zx6r tho.
I loved my 636! I was really surprised by how fun the 500 is though. I think you’ll really love that upgrade when you get it for sure

Be going about 50 when you shift to 3rd then say something about the bikes “pull” lol
Tbf I’m riding someone else’s brand new bike, not trying to red line it like that.
Low power mode 😂
@@T3hn00bz0r swear I thought it had power modes, whoops 😅
I'm so sick of parallel twins. Dumbass emissions. Inline-4's forever.
@@RycastFitness I gotta say the big singles have won my heart over recently after buying the 701sm. But yeah I agree.
