- After much anticipation, we can now officially announce that Valhalla will return in 2023. Following a £4 million investment, the UK’s wettest ride is set to reopen for technical rehearsals this April with some exciting new features.
Featuring many of the exciting elements that made the ride so popular when it first opened in 2000, the team at Blackpool Pleasure Beach have hinted that there are some surprises in store now that the ride has been truly brought into the modern era.

i feel song of elders will be difficult to replace but i trust that valhalla's new ost will be incredible.
This is the music that is played now in the queue and station. Inside the ride is more ambient noises, a sort of storyline and some atmospheric music.
Pleasure Beach when is Glenn going to release the soundtrack to this please. So eager to add it to the playlist. Due to this promoting video cannot stop listening and watching it

as great as the old one was it was not made for the ride and just blared out in the warehouse where as the new valhalla will have individual music for each scene
Song of the elders I love. When this soundtrack comes out be next to it. I cannot stop watching this and in tears. I miss this ride. Got two rides I love, Icon and Valhalla. Years rumours it's incorporated the old soundtrack to it.

What looks incredible? apart from a 3 second clip of the illuminated smoke effect to look like fire during the ride in this advert. everything else were just cg clips. Even though I had a free pass for the day, I only went on this ride once in the early 2000's, and thought it was rubbish then, And after re-riding it last week, its still a poor ride, and apart from 2 months of the year, Is it really that much fun getting absolutely soaked?
I must admit at first I really did not like this soundtrack on the ride. But I actually think it sort of suits it. It’s a bop in the queue 😂

technical rehearsals ? does that mean its not open for people to ride on it still ?
It means that people will be able to ride, but it will still be in testing stages - so some effects and aspects of the experience might not be working while they get it fully ready, but the ride itself is ready to be tested. So people can still ride, they should just keep in mind that things might not be working correctly yet.
Ride will randomly open at random times during the day and a member of staff will say do u wanna ride Valhalla then you go on but not everything will be working

More like LNR on the 8th... it would be such a disappointment if they can't get it open for then.
I got a feeling in my bones be May time as originally was opened by good old Geoffrey god bless him in May. So think mands is keeping the tradition I don't know but that's my theory being a park enthusiast since 95, and doing my time at the park in a memor ATM not to be published but like a dairy and that.

good ride but please let people keep there stuff to the side because i was freaking out that my phone will brake or something but i got asolute drenched and went on it 4 times that day because i was like hell ya thats good but heat that water up damn it feels like you put ice in that thing lol and clean the waters more because i had a white t shurt on and it came out with brown stains all over it afterwords
Thought this was a fan video? Why is it in 10 fps? Why are bargain bin costumes and women who clearly don't know how swords worked being randomly put in?
After hearing about all that has been stripped from the ride? Why have you done this? I dearly hope this isn't what is supposed to replace the main theme.
Pleasure beach management have ruined Valhalla. 3 yrs of waiting and £4 million spent and all they have achieved is to make the ride worse. Reliability is terrible with the ride still breaking down. Special effects look cheap and have been cut back. I feel like I’ve been lied to. Pleasure beach looks like a Victorian scrap yard with some 100 yr old rides. I’ll be spending my money at Alton Towers!!!
It’s only technical rehearsals at the moment. Wait until the ride fully opens.
