Thanks for taking a different approach on this Push 3 video. I watched too many videos yesterday that went over the basics ad nauseam. Yours is the first I watched without feeling the need to skip through to find the meat. You managed to cover the new features in an entertaining and involving way for 10 min straight -- thank you! Subscribed.
Yeah, youtbers really need to distinguish their videos as: beginner, intermediate or advanced. They never will, however, just for more views from all skill levels. They don't care about you wasting time on their video.
Fam.. you KILLED this jawn!!! Just got a Push 3 Standalone 2wks ago, and while I love it, listening to this, I have a looonnng way to go to really learn it, but I'm having fun! Just subscribed!!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Love the explanation of not only the what but the why of what you're doing in each step of process. Hope to see more of these detailed videos in the future!
It's crazy how few videos there are of people making beats or writing music in general on Push 3 still. I just got an MPC but I'm still eyeing this thing. Hope to see more from you and if I get a Push 3 I'll definitely be getting into your course for harmony and melody. I'm a pianist with a lot of theory experience, so taking it to Push would be great.
Best Tutorial I have seen so far on the push. I was just about to say I need to learn how to play in chromatic mode and you mention it at the end of the video!
This video is honestly great! Definitely interested in that class. Really want Push to be my instrument of choice in addition to all the other nice things it does. Will chk your other vids for sure
@@jxmieblake yeah, it is really hard to find info about that. I try to find it out myself, but it is quite challenging tbh. Would love to learn how you did your mpe kit in this video.
It’s great to see you again and that was a great song you made! I will have to wait on even thinking about buying one of these because I feel like it is still being developing.
Thanks for this cool video ! Since one year, what are the main cons of Push 3 if they are ? Just to know cause i'm about to buy one and want to make sure standalone is really usable for advanced ableton user
I keek coming back to your video for connecting my external synths in Standalone, nothing easier. I was trying to follow the same process in controller mode in hopes that i could use the interface and it could also be that easy, but alas did not work. Can you share your process or reccomend one for sampling synths when in controller mode? Thanks, and can't wait for your course to start!!
@@jxmieblake thanks so much for following up. Yes, controller mode. My Push 3 connected to my MacBook and synth connected to Push 3 via USB and audio ins on the back of Push. I tried to connect my Minatuar bass synth using same process as video. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. Any help much appreciated
Never new you could freeze to covert midi to audio…cool. What I usually do is loop a midi clip and then record the audio on it’s own track… one reason I like this approach is I can record audio for longer than the midi clip so I can do many variations with real time hardware tweaks.
Amazing push performance as always in youre videos!! What do you think about the pad sensitivity (not expression) in comparison with push 2 for playing piano instruments?I have both... push 3 and 2 , but I cant seem to find acceptable pad sensitivity settings on push 3 for playing nuanced piano instruments like with push 2. Maybe you can share youre push 3 pad sensitivity settings? thank you!!
@@jxmieblake via adat its only possible in control mode. i've made up my mind not to switch to push 3 because of this. Such fail in the design, it could've been great
@@jxmieblake Sonic State video of the push 3. Its possible but probably the push3 was not in standalone mode. It also says so in the manual.
