ikr, but they were metalcore in their early days
@@yaadaniel42069 I miss those days...
@@soockamasook2001 Heaven Shall Burn actually got better, they went from metalcore to death metal (I'd say that's a improvement)
@Johnny Mack well that's your opinion

Who gives a shit if you dont like metalcore. There should still be respect for one another that listen to any branch of metal. We listen to the most gritty and passionate music filled with the most talented musicians. Stop arguing about what sub-genre is better and just respect metal as a whole. Bless us all for not being brainwashed twats listening to pop
Christopher Sonea 👍.
Hail to the reborned Chuck Schuldiner :D I think the same btw :P
The whole metal community should be the most respectful among the other music communities, but those elitists fucked it up :P I hope one day someone will unite us all under one flag, under the flag of respect and care ;)
Finally someone one who is not an Elitist fucktard, personally, I don't get the hate to other metal subgenres.
pop is a bitch
Christopher Sonea finally someone layin down the facts
exactly, killswitch belongs at the top!
Without fail.
Came for while she sleeps
I'm crying very hard.
Iddel Dowsie they haven't made enough music to be on this list. I do love the band though
But i was sade anyway xD
Iddel Dowsie Ah Emos, all I guys do is cry and die
Iddel Dowsie they are the best metalcore band at the moment alongside parkway drive and killswitch
They are amazing, but not so huge as other bands on the list. They have only been around for about 6 years (if you count TNSFN). Their moment of glory is yet to come.
I like metalcore except when it starts it's blast beat drums and excessive double time, Killswitch know when to use it and don't over do it. Trivium used it well when I listened to them. Bullet for my valentine used it great and not excessively
I agree the reason I like bullet as well is because they have a perfect mix of screams and clean singing which for me a lot of don't but that's just my opinion I know tons of people love them
Bands that should've been on the list:
Converge
Norma Jean
Botch
Underoath
Atreyu
Every Time I Die
Still Remains
The Dillinger Escape Plan (debatable)
Coalesce
Bands that should NOT be on the list
BMTH (not metalcore anymore and far from greatest MxC)
A7X (not metalcore anymore)
Yes TDWP, also It Dies Today
Atreyu and still remains are post hardcore.
you're clearly trolling, they are both metalcore bands.
dillinger is mathcore
Heaven shall burn and caliban are missing

Can't wait to see all the mad people about BMTH
kaine222 because people like them..not everyone has to agree.
kaine222 that's that girl band right?
they were good then they turned into generic pop rock
heavy metal and deathcore i don't agree with who said that bfmv is metalcore
BFMV are generic Metalcore. lol
Avenged Sevenfold isn't really metalcore anymore though
Cream of Music 👍.
Cream of Music Neither are Trivium.
Avenged Sevenfold is a Heavy Metal band with a metalcore sound, do not comment if you do not know anything
@@mikkelp.8846 Wtf you at? Trivium are Core
Only the second album
Elitists hating the cores because they don't follow the "rules" of metal is the most ironic thing, since original metal was founded on breaking musical rules
August Burns Red is the true number 1
WE CANNOT SWIM UNDER THESE CONDITIONS !!
Nah they have a lot of rubbish songs compared to killswitch.
Atvena I agree. I’m a massive ABR fan and killswitch have a better back catalogue. Constellations is a masterpiece though. The real crime is the placement of parkway. Should be higher.
@@ShiprektBones I would have to disagree, listen to August Burns Reds new album and see if you change your mind. I was lucky to see one of three shows on the Killswitch tour with ABR before everything got shutdown and while Killswitch is great, they just don't hold a candle to August Burns Red live. ABR brings so much more energy and the stage presence is unreal compared to Killswitch.
ABR got boring after like 4 albums that all sound the exact same... I actually love the bands that change. Like I love BMTH's new stuff, just cause it is different. Also it is hilarious watching people bitch on social media about bands "not sounding like their old music". Who cares lol find a new band if you are gonna whine online to nobody who cares

3. Killswitch Engage
4. Bullet for My Valentine
5. As I Lay Dying
6. All That Remains
7. Darkest Hour
8. Unearth
9. Shadows Fall
10. Parkway Drive
Aside from BMTH and that A7X hasn't been metalcore since their 2nd album, (I'd replace them with Shadows Fall and Darkest Hour) I can actually dig this list! I also love how Unearth got a mention 🤘
Ignorance is bliss ain't it, elitists?

Not intentionally hahaha
I am pretty they don't care
Avenged sevenfold are not metalcore 😂😂
Thats like calling dragonforce thrash metal.

Yes!

Shai Hulud, Converge and Zao pretty much influenced all the bands listed and for my money hold up better than most.
Yes and disembodied too
Every time I die, Norma Jean, botch, poison the well, eighteen visions
Replace bullet with Between The Buried And Me. Replace trivium with Bleeding Through. Replace avenged with Chimaira and then you’ll be heading in the right direction

Edit: Architects and While She Sleeps should definitely be in this list

No idea why A7X and Trivium are still considered metalcore, but imo they're still the best bands out there.
The Unexisting they're THE best. Trivium especially

Trivium as always been Trivium. Even if their music changed a lot, we hear Trivium. Not like All That Remains, that turned to something else. A7X became Metallica 2.
