CJR Electrical - Chris Reeve gives the learners of Tresham College a tour of an U.K. electricians van. Ever wondered what’s in an electricians van? We look at the hand tools, power tools and ladders required to be a sparky. It is surprising how much equipment is required to be a self employed electrician and the learners would like to thank CJR Electrical again for attend Tresham College.
Videos are training aids for City and Guilds (C and G) and EAL courses Level 1, 2, 3 plus AM2, AM2S and AM2E.

I remember seeing Chris’ SDS Waste pipe trick on one of his previous videos and thought to myself. Why didn’t I think of that before! I’ve got two set ups a long and short one for my drill bits and keeps them all together and not rattling around in the van. Such a good, simple idea 👍🏻

Absolutely love Chris’s videos he’s inspired me to want to take up electrics soon so when I save enough for the course I hope to begin end of this year or start of next year and coming across your videos also have helped me a lot with the inspiration so hopefully watching I both will give me an advantage on the start of the course 👌 good to see you both team up

Great content as usual. Wonder Gas if you or Chris, could tell us a bit more about that Worx saw in particular about the blade as I am likely to have to cut up a load of floorboards in the future and don't want to knacker my blade.

@@GSHElectrical I take my tool bag with me when I leave the room using my own tools in college as redoing a lot of stuff from 1992 and 2003 some tools I got are older then the other students. I only trust my cat 🐈

The only problem with showing what you keep in your van is you become a prime target for the scumbags that target vans to break into and clear your livelihood in a couple of minutes , even extra deadlocks carn't keep these fookers out and even if you say on camera that you take out all your gear every night they know you probably don't and will break in anyway just to check , showing what's in my van is something I certain ally wouldn't do on camera for sure but all these you tubers seem to do it.....

It was fantastic for my learners to see inside an electricians van as they are full time at college and don’t yet have apprenticeships.
