Interesting and informative video. With regards the pad saw, a bit of oval conduit makes an excellent cover for the blade which prevents it damaging your bag...Also, if you carry a hacksaw in your tool bag, if you invert the blade in the frame so the teeth are facing up, it again helps to prevent it causing damage....
@Stu Arnold Thats just a silly answer, an electrician trained to work with voltages strong enough to cause Death, Can decide which toque setting to use when using a hammer to tighten a posy headed Allen key, But he cant turn on and use a multimeter. ok.... Im still surprised a real electrician does not know how to select the correct tool for the job.
@Stu Arnold "Torque measuring screwdrivers are not used by UK electricians (although they do exist)." its just a worry People like you trying to give helpful advice. To put this back on topic carrying a pocket knife or a pencil or a multimeter does not mean you have to use them when a proper tool is available. I carry a very small pocket knife pointy bit works well as a screw driver, I carry a multimeter very handy for battery and fuses and luckily I can read so know how to twiddle the knob from Ohm to micro amps, But how tight the bits in Fuse panel would be is beyond my if only they wrote something on the side of them bits that go in the CU.
@Stu Arnold so now we do need them in the UK, You went into great detail explaining electricians cant be trusted to read, then made up stuff to prove how wrong you were
I have an older Ck magma technicians tool bag the middle compartment is a bit tight to get your hand in for tools ( the new design looks wider) so I carry first fix tools separately and the zips don't fully close and it does get a bit heavy if you have to walk a bit to the job, I'm in 2 minds to get a new one maybe from a different manufacturer maybe wheeled from Klein or just carry on. Might wait til Elex. I Can see Dan from Dss shouting Get the new Wera Velcro pack bag👀💷😁
people like you help us starting out. I find your videos very interesting and have learned a lot. after being made redundant from triumph motorcycles I have now started my own business www.peservices.uk and would like to thank you for all your help and support even though we have never spoke. I am waiting for my napit assessment too

@@GSHElectrical your welcome👍🏼it's nice to learn or remind myself sometimes on your videos
Says the non-contact voltage tester is only for an initial check but doesn't carry test lamps hmmmmmmmm
The hammer and the anvil , origins of tools 10000BC
Almost the same tools like mine.. I have the same small hammer
😁
How did he keep his sarcasm to himself 😂😂😂
Chris is awesome. There’s the famous hammer.
My Stanley back pack was crap, had 3 months and it got holes and tears, I got a McAllister and it has lasted me 18 months now with no problems
Haven't made a comment for a few months, sadly very busy but Chris is the most unpretentious of them all.
Hi Chris hope you are well and welcome back 👍. All the best Gaz
One job per Marxman? Jesus how many holes are you marking man ?
Who says he's using it to mark holes?
those Marxman Pens are 🤔
Ah Chris, before he became a Billy big bo11ix...proven by his "4 x as expensive" comment.
