Losi Promoto MX D.I.Y rear tire & foam on VITAVON Wheel

In this video I show you how to make a rear tire and foam for the LOSI promoto mx bike with a 8th scale buggy tire and foam. Installed onto a VITAVON 7075 billet aluminum rear wheel.

Thin tire glue, it flows like water. I sand the inside of the aluminum wheel a bit where the tire seats. The glue flows into any crack and goes in,plus glues outer edge. I have ran these tires since this video and had to add a bit of glue in a couple spots. But they have held well. They are low profile so I'll use them on short grass till the tires wear out then use them onroad. Eventually I'll get Vitavon street tires for these wheels.👍👊😎

No Losi road tires are smaller. But VITAVON is releasing road TIRES to fit their alum Wheels very soon.. I will get a set of them and make a video asap..

Was just a common 8th scale buggy tire.. soft compound was fairly easy to stretch on the wheel. The tire is kinda low profile and best for grass or hard pack dirt with no big rocks.
