Sorry, but Joe is RIGHT! It goes in that basket and it’s gone forever label or no label. Some folks work perfectly well with things spread out. Go Team Joe!
I have to agree with Joe here too. I keep trying to make a "Current Projects" box work for me but it just gets pushed to the side and a new one takes its place or things just get piled around it. The only way I remember things exist is if I can see them, even if that means shuffling around the pile every single day.
Cas, I guess you will just have to find a new category for those of us like Joe. It is imperfect perfectionism. It works for many of us. Maybe you have a bug for that? I don’t know, I’m not an entomologist. Things are not black-and-white. Please leave some room and acceptance for those of us like Joe and not pigeon hole us into your four insects.
My husband is exactly like Joe and moves at his own pace. When he is motivated, he gets things done perfectly on his time. We don’t work very well together, but are still married after 41 years!
Team Joe. I would want my office to be neat, functional, organized, practical, and not ugly. I would NOT want it to be "decorated" and cute. I would also not want that basket bc, yes, things would be hidden and never re-emerge. He knows his organizational style, and that is relevant. I can also relate with researching things online, and having so many choices that you can never tell which one is best for you!
Why have we not seen the "Joe & Cass Show" before?!?!?!?! This was THE BEST🤣🤣It is clear you guys are opposites, but ALSO clear that you love each other very much & have fun with each other! More, please!
Omg! Joe TALKS??!! 😂😂😂 The conversations you two had were HILARIOUS! 😂 I couldn’t quit laughing! 🤣 You’re so cute together! ❤ His office turned out nice! Can’t wait to see the garage, LOL! 😂
I HATE labels (except for files). So nice to hear that I’m not the only one! I also agree with Joe about if it goes in the basket it’ll be there for eternity. If it needs to be done it needs to be in my way or it won’t get done. If it’s packed away nicely then it will be forgotten…forever.
Lol that's me, with a lot of things. I'm a bee/lady bug. I hate labeling, even though I like a little bit more organisation than what I usually have time or energy to create. I only label things that look too similar to other that I can't tell what they are (I e. Certain spices, or cables, etc ), or things that are in containers that are not see through if that's the only way I have to store them.
My people! The labels and the baskets! I can put things away in a home and remember them but if it isn't it's home and just a pile basket, it doesn't work. They will sit there in that box forgotten. And labels... I plan to label the pantry for the kids' sake but I hate labels for my own stuff. I have very few things I label, usually it's the long-term storage of totes that look like each other that gets a label. Something in an office like this would drive me crazy. IF I had a basket, no labels, I know what is in them.
Oh my word, your husband graciously appears in a video! ... with real-life arguing! I love when people show real-life and not just: "BAM! We re-did the office. Here's the before and after." Good job both of you!
Dear Joe, Thank you for sharing your world , being so open and vulnerable. Dear Cas, Thank you for showing how to let your hubby be him (even when you know a better) I hope to see more of you guys together. Big Hugs
I tell so many people that eating the frog does not work for me, why, and what I do instead. I will procrastinate if I have to eat that frog. I need a quick hit of dopamine to get started and I need to build up gradually. If I'm having trouble getting started, I start small, and usually somewhere else. Need to get the main rooms party ready? I tidy my tiny master bathroom. That's a 1-2 minute job. Done! Dopamine! I moved into my bedroom and make my bed, check for surface clutter and take out the dirty laundry. Done! More dopamine!! I work my way toward the big scary. For years it cased marriage stress because I wasn't helping with what was needed and it also caused a lot of negative self talk. An ADHD diagnosis later, I understand WHY I NEED to do it this way. So I still do the same thing. But now I celebrate it. I've hacked my brain and I get the job done. I also know that an ADHD brainer tends to either be an object in motion or an object at rest, not switching easily between the modes. So if I can lie to myself with a small reward to get started, I will keep going until it's all done, and not just stop at the small accomplishment. Example. I will make coffee once I load the dishwasher. But now that ice loaded the dishwasher, obviously I'm gonna hand wash those few hand wash only items. So now the counters are cleared for wiping. Better switch/start the laundry while I'm up. Etc. Eventually I get to sit down, relax with my coffee, and enjoy a clean space, and not feel bad about how long it's gonna take me to move again. I know the tortoise always beats the hare in the story, but it's okay to be the hare. 😊
This is so eye opening to me as someone who doesn’t have adhd, in being able to better understand how switching between motion and not moving aren’t easily switched. Helps with my son tremendously!
This is the most accurate description of my days off! Especially the part about us being an object in motion, or at rest…not easily being able to switch between the two! The accuracy is bang on!
Every time you say he spent weeks and weeks researching, I find I relate to Joe so hard. I get so bogged down in the details that I get overwhelmed and just quit. Then I'll come back to the thing later, and often meet the same wall. It is INSANELY frustrating.
This video has inspired me to tackle my own clutter. I also started using Astirna New Tab, which has some cool features for keeping my tasks organized.
I'm with Joe on the piles vs baskets. I keep piles on my desk because it's a visual reminder of what I need to do; it's how I decide what's next and feel natural motivation to get it off my desk. There's no motivation if I can't see the pile or if it's safely tucked in the box. I'll never look for it ever ever again. Cas.. you even said, literally, "I know Joe said no baskets but I'm going to change his life"; and you say it in jest but it comes off pretty critical. Why change his pile if he doesn't want to? When you force people to follow your preferences instead of working with them, it tells them that their way isn't good enough. Don't try and be a perfectionist about telling people they're a perfectionist 😮 embrace good enough Cas - it's good enough without the basket. Let goooooo
Cas, I am just like Joe. I get overwhelmed by a task and don't get started. You are spot on! Many thanks for the tips you gave Joe, they will work for me, too. Will you come to my house 😉
You two are GREAT together! Everyone needs a Joe and a Cas! Beautiful transformation! Working with my husband on home remodeling was fun in the planning stages, but communication seemed to get garbled when things didn’t work out as envisioned and we had to switch gears ⚙️ and rethink 🤔 It’s like we were speaking a foreign language and couldn’t understand each other. True test on how to pause, be flexible, take a frustration break and come back together to continue on… Then somehow we’re speaking the same language again. Takes lots of patience, love and compromise on both sides. Hubby does great work and every time I enter our house I’m instantly in love with the house and the man all over again for hanging in there and creating a beautiful home we both love 💗 Well worth the challenges! I see that with you guys, too 👍❤
Cas, I work as a snail. Be patient, my husband is the opposite. So, before each project we do together we remind each other to be nice. I know your feeling. ❤ the office looks amazing.
As a cricket, our dream would be ANOTHER CRICKET helping us to design and organize our space. LOL. I felt overwhelming (I think your husband too felt the same way), when you suggested, for example, the basket, OMG! the things inside this basket will be forget for eveeerr! You continued to say that he is a perfectionist but you were showing your perfectionism every second and try to force him to do the things as you want. This video was very overwhelming to see. I know that you are an expert in the 4 styles but please let him breathe.
She knows him better. Crickets want things a certain way but will never get it that way on their own. I'm sure she was speaking to how he actually lives and not his fantasy self...😊
agree with this comment. It was very hard to listen when she wouldn’t let him finish the sentence and kept interrupting him!! He was so patient with her, as I know my husband is with me when I keep chattering way beyond when I’ve made my point!
When we were moving from a 4 bedroom house where we had lived for 22 years, the moving company rep gave us some advice. Packing was overwhelming, but he said, “ Start with the books. Those are easiest and d will give you a sense of accomplishment and motivate you to do more “
I think this wasn’t as much about procrastination as it was about letting your spouse have something of their own if you’re usually the one decorating and organizing the house. Nice reminder that it doesn’t have to be our level of perfection-it’s their space and as you said-we can always shut the door.
We generally do projects separately. Joe said he didn’t want baskets, so I was surprised you didn’t look for a more visible way- such as 8x11 stacking plastic shelves. When you talk about crooked labels, I picture myself with a razor and Goo Gone, working furiously to remove them! Love your content, but I’m with Joe on this one.
Loved this❣️ As a recovering cricket perfectionist, i so relate to Joe’s struggle❣️❣️❣️ And one of my favorite sayings is “life is uncertain = eat dessert first❣️
The bottom line is that it's about respect on both sides. Don't do to someone what you would not want that person to do to you. If it's your space, he can help but should walk away if his help turns into pushiness and control. Same for his space and yourself. If you do a space that is both of yours then communication and compromise is what it's about not his way or your way. We are all different which is the way it is suppose to be. We did not come into this life to live with clones of ourselves. This is what worked for my husband and myself. Respect. It's about respect and love for each other. 🙏❤️🙏❤️
No sunshine and rainbows here when my husband and I work together on a project. I am detail oriented and he ADHD, so that's sometimes a combustible combination. But we are both still alive and love ❤ each other deeply. It never stops that we discover/learn something about the other and in the end....we are proud we've stuck it out and marvel at our finished project. Much love to you all ☮
I agree with those who said to let Joe do what he wants with his space. As much as Cas talks about everyone having different organizing styles, I was really surprised to see her fighting against Joe’s desires for how to decorate, how to organize, what to prioritize, etc.
My whole goal was to get it done "good enough to move on" so he could actually use and enjoy the space. Joe really wanted to do each task slow and methodical, which is awesome, but sometimes done today is better than perfect tomorrow. He loves his office and has tweaked and changed a few little things. It's so much easier to adjust than it is to start from scratch. I was pushy, that's for sure, but I think he needed a push in order to get to the point where he could enjoy his space. For six long months he had to work in a cluttered and messy office, now he loves being in there!!
It did look like he needed some motivation, and like you said in the video, when you built the bookshelf then it inspired him to work on the desk. I think that kind of motivation is really helpful. But pushing him to do things your way was probably not helpful, and he was telling you how he wanted his office to be, so I think it would’ve been best to respect those decisions.
I understand the 'good enough to move on' concept. For some people like myself this is so important - otherwise I will get so bogged down with every little thing that nothing gets done.
@@Clutterbug Just what I was thinking! I'd LOVE for you to come here and compromise and argue a bit. but then my stuff would be DONE and beautiful too. LOVE you and Joe. Cool couple.
Love your hubby! You two are so funny!!! For his stack of papers, a clear acrylic file sorter would be perfect. He could still see everything but it is contained in a clear stand within reach.
Love the way you and Joe interact!! My husband and I work well together when it comes to paperwork; however, organizing is a totally different story! Thanks for being real! Joe, please do more videos with Cas!!!
Thanks for sharing Joe with us! It's nice to see & hear him in front of the camera. Office looks great. When I labeled closet baskets for the two of us in our home, my husband claimed he couldn't find anything. Can you read? "Yes." Okay, go read 6 words (labels) & you'll know where everything is! Today, and every day!"
My good friend just passed the day after our Solar Eclipse due to cancer. She too, like me,was a,Perfectionist Procrastinator! We didn’t know this was a THING!! We had soooo many talks about Decluttering or doing projects but getting stuck. I wish I could show her this video! We are a Real Thing! I miss you Jeanne. 💔
She’s most likely watching you watch it. She will now be your helper on the other side, guiding and helping you with things like this. Sounds like you were a lot alike and very close friends. I’m sorry for your loss.
This is by far my favorite video. I do a lot of home projects with my husband as well. I've learned how to get my way by letting him think most of the ideas are his. 😉 All in good fun, and that's what's important. My frequent saying is always, "Babe, have I failed you yet?" He always says no, babe. ♥️
This was my fav video EVER! Why? Because this is where many ppl live most days. With a man who is soooo different, yet has so many strengths and compatible skills to yours. He’s a great guy though he works at a different pace, and he’s obviously brilliant at reading schematics. My husband and I just built a velvet bed frame and only 8 of 28 pieces were numbered. SMH and cussed a little bit. So I have more appreciation for your awesome Joe than you might think. You 2 make me smile❤
From one cricket to another. I so understand him!! I procrastinate because it must have a home before I can put an item away. I'm very neat, so I don't like a lot of piles or stuff lying around, but at the same time, I have to be organized. We probably drive everyone crazy but we're the first people come to when they need something because it's in its place and we know where it is!!
I actually laughed out loud several times while watching this video! My husband and I are both procrastinators. I think he would agree, he’s worse than I am! But still, we have difficulties getting started. I’m learning so much from watching your videos and putting it into practice. I recently cleaned, declutterred and organized my pantry and he’s actually happy I did it, for a change. What usually happens with us is I wait for him to declutter and organize one of his spaces. Then, I get frustrated and declutter and organize it myself. He’s usually appreciative that I’ve done it, but within a month it’s right back to the way it was. He likes to pile things! But, I totally understand how you feel about wanting to choke him! In the past I asked him to put the ice maker in our freezer. I like ice in my drinks and hate ice trays! Well, I waited for 2 years! The water line had already been installed so the actual ice maker was all that was left to do. After 2 years I finally found the fridge manual and installed it myself! And it actually worked! That was a big confidence builder! So, now, if he makes me wait too long I try to do whatever I need done myself. I’ve also decided recently, if I can’t do it myself I’m going to contact Angie’s List or Thumbtack and have them do it! I love your videos and you’ve helped me so much! I can’t wait for the next one!
My husband’s den used to be cluttered but over time he began cleaning and decluttering. He has succeeded and I am almost jealous because his den/man cave is so awesome! So clean and so open and he has kept just what he loves. I just let him decide the time on his own. But it began with the rest of the house between my start of minimalism and him joining in. ❤. His den was a daunting task 😮
Aww, poor Joe! He's just a turtle - a perfectionist turtle! AND I relate to him so much. I am here for ya Joe - us perfectionists need to stand together and procrastinate!!! Your office looks amazing.
I'm team Joe on the standing desk. I think that's an awesome idea. Being able to stand once in a while beneficial to helping his posture (less slouching over the desk) as well as keeping his core and leg muscles strong. Good call, Joe.
Her husband knows what work for himself, that's why he said NO BASKETS please 😅, pointing that things would never be found again which I agree with him, if gremlins carry that basket elsewhere lol, BUT the truth is, he is happy with the changes and that worked for him. Cas just gave him a little push into a pool filled with crocodiles 🐊 which made he swim faster!!! Well done Cas, you two working together was stressful, but man did that work? As good as it could be! Well done Joe for your bravery 👏👏👏
I have not seen a video feom you in probably 5 years. I am shocked by your personal transformation. I am an old subscriber from the beginning. Way to go, Queen. Love this for you. Thank you for sharing.
I don’t know how we have been married for 53 years!! YES I DO! We don’t do very many joint projects!! I’m like Joe and I work at a 🐌 pace at 71 I don’t move very fast and I procrastinate so bad so now it takes me 6 months to even get started on a project and he works all day it takes me all day to do the necessary tasks so I think I’m just HOPLESS!!
I loved this video. Your husband is a patient man and humored you the whole way through, he's adorable! He could barely get a word in anywhere, but you could tell he was used. To it and just loves you the way you are. ❤ his woodworking is amazing! The fact that he didnt want to do the organizing your way, yet he didn't argue his point is amazing. My husband would have turned around and been done. He would have, do it yourself! We've been married 38 yrs. But there are done things better left to do alone😂. I know whats off limits as far as his areas for cleaning. He doesnt know where half the stuff is in the house, but since Ive been follwing you, I am finding homes for what we use daily and labeling it and telling him and I purposely take the to follow through on putting things away. I have thrown out so much trash, donated bags abgs of not used items and clothes, and am waiting on him to help load some old furnuture to donate. I am working on it, but its a never ending process. We are trying to downsize from a 5 bedroom, 2 story house to a 2 bedroom house the beginning of next year. Big job😮.
Here’s the thing, Joe. Now you don’t have to start from scratch. You can still change things, one thing at a time. It’s the decision fatigue that gets you.
Watching the two of you argue was a bit stressful, but then I realized that my daughter and I have a very similar relationship, and I'm not stressed around her. What appears bossy from the outside, is just a strong desire to help and ADHD enthusiasm. I think it's adorable. It appears that Joe feels the same way.
My husband and I just spent 3 months fixing up our bedroom. We have done all the work in other rooms as a necessity, so we know what we were in for. We had a corner where a fireplace had been, and the previous owners took it out. So dental crown moulding, chair rail, baseboards and wallpaper all need to come down. It was a complete overhaul. I vowed after this, we are never working on another house project together. We will be hiring professionals.
It was so much fun watching you and Joe redo his office. I laughed many times because my husband would never be a willing participant. He’d hire someone, lol.
This is too much!!! You could only be married to this man!!! He’s the Ying to your Yang!! You truly are made for each other in the most perfect way!! 2 awesome people!!
Oh my! I sent this video to our 5 daughters. I know already their responses. They will say that you guys are just like my husband and I. The lady bug and the cricket! Amazing.
Wow. What a difference! Love that "after" picture. He must love working in that space now. You too really are opposites. And what a great team you do make. 🎉❤
Congratulations on not ending up in divorce court! I am a cricket and he is "let's get this over with as fast as possible". When you stared into the camera gritting your teeth, that's me. LOL, I loved how you made it all work out! Great job on the room and your marriage!
Totally a personal problem but this video stahhreesssedd me out. I couldn’t even finish it 😂 Maybe I can watch it later but the energy and dialogue just ratcheted my heart rate up. Hope the office turns out great! ❤
You two look like my husband and I. I noticed that it looks like Joe went in order down the list. My husband's list always looks so complicated to me but I've learned that arguing or trying to change his mind is wasting both of our time. My house has been sorted to his room or mine. Gradually I have talked over more of the house. He still has his side of the closet, his office and the whole garage. Sometimes I glance at his areas but it's just painful. I'm just thankful that doors were invented. Love your show and so grateful that my husband doesn't watch because he would want shelves and things hanging on every wall in every room. Not me but have by watching come to understand the differences between us.❤
So nice to see Joe. He sure is a good sport! We have a basement declutter that needs to happen one day. Right now, we are storing a lot of my parents' stuff. They sold their house. They put most everything else into pods and left for Florida. When the "new" houses renovation is done, hopefully next month, I'll get everything moved over there. It's a lot. I am looking forward to seeing their reactions. The "new" house belonged to my Mothers parents. It looks so different. I'm really happy for them. It will be a safe place to age in place.
@@taylornotario9646 Seconded. Cupboards with doors, and chests with drawers, are where things go to die. Even the salad drawer in the fridge is the veggie place of no return. Lesley, butterfly. 🦋
I love Joe!! I get him 😆. If I can't see something it's dead to me. Truly, he is a gem. Also I really like the wood top desk. I built something like that for myself. Hearts for Joe ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Cas & Jo, I thought you were both very brave - working on Camera! its been gr8t to see you work the office through together, indeed it looks brill in the end & special for Jo to finally get his own space after 23 yrs!! Enjoyed the process, bless you both watching from UK 👏👏🌟😃🌷🌸🌷🏡🏡🏡
Joe is so very cute, all of the exchange between the two of you sounds just like my husband and I. The only difference is, we bought our house 3 years ago and there are still things waiting to be done, walls need painting, kitchen island needs the new top put on it, I could go for an hour on the undone projects that he has to do himself.
I love my standing desk. It changes several times a day some days. Also it's on wheels and the wires hang from the beam, so it makes my office very flexible.
I did some fun stuff that was already on the calendar but then had to say THAT'S IT! Nothing happens until JOB 1 is done! When finished I had so much energy from the weight lifted off, I ran around and got everything deferred done. Sometimes it makes sense to focus down!
This has been one of my favorite videos, ever...we minimal moms have to be able to work with family members who aren't wired like us! :) Well done...looks awesome!
I’m a minimalist and I think the room is complete! (Although I would have a few less books😂). I loved Joe’s idea of shopping the house and putting items in his office that are meaningful and not random decor items from the store. ❤️
OMG, you guys are so cute together! My hubby and I are exactly the same. He’s slow and doesn’t want to get rid of anything. I’m like…let’s get it done and donate everything!
I am new to your channel and I’m thankful I found you. I am that person that can see it perfectly organized and then feel so overwhelmed that I shut down. You have set my soul free by showing me it’s possible. I’m an artist and have a large room with all of my craft supplies in the floor 😮. I wish you could help, lol. But really you are helping by speaking life into me. Bless you and your sweet husband ❤
I absolutely LOVE the desk. Well worth the wait. I think whenever we work with our significant other, it can bring out the worst in us. I tried to think of a time that hubby and I worked on a project together where we didn't have at least 1 mini-argument - nope, can't think of a single time. Most of the time we have several medium to large arguments which usually results in my walking away at least once. Joe's office turned out amazing and it looks so much better than the "before". Love it.

"The best way to build it, would be if I built it and you cheered me on from 2 ft that way" Joe is a rockstar 🤣💕 turned out so great Cas!
Amazing job on that desk top, Joe!!😃👍🏻
@@LilCraftyNook The desk top is soo beautiful, Joe! You do such wonderful work!
Sorry, but Joe is RIGHT! It goes in that basket and it’s gone forever label or no label. Some folks work perfectly well with things spread out. Go Team Joe!
Hahahaha EXACTLY!!!!! 😂
I have to agree with Joe here too. I keep trying to make a "Current Projects" box work for me but it just gets pushed to the side and a new one takes its place or things just get piled around it. The only way I remember things exist is if I can see them, even if that means shuffling around the pile every single day.

Yep team Joe. I have so many boxes that are 2 years old or long because of that exact thing.
So true, but at our house, things could be in the middle of the floor and still become invisible. 😂
😂Joe: I finally have my own space and you want to fill it with your stuff❤
😅
😂
Joe you need a decorative wall abacus.
My husband is exactly like Joe and moves at his own pace. When he is motivated, he gets things done perfectly on his time. We don’t work very well together, but are still married after 41 years!
Same 😅
That's us as well. 😊
The desktop Joe finished is absolutely gorgeous! Great job Joe!
Team Joe. I would want my office to be neat, functional, organized, practical, and not ugly. I would NOT want it to be "decorated" and cute. I would also not want that basket bc, yes, things would be hidden and never re-emerge. He knows his organizational style, and that is relevant.

YES, YES, YES! Totally agree with you!
I was waiting for Cas to exclaim again at the end of the video about Joe's beautiful desk top...and then to see him gleam with pride.
Omg! Joe TALKS??!! 😂😂😂 The conversations you two had were HILARIOUS! 😂 I couldn’t quit laughing! 🤣 You’re so cute together! ❤ His office turned out nice! Can’t wait to see the garage, LOL! 😂
It is so true that opposites attract! My husband is so low key and he wouldn’t want to be on camera either!!
I can’t wait to see Joe’s office in 3 months. You must have a follow up video.
I HATE labels (except for files). So nice to hear that I’m not the only one! I also agree with Joe about if it goes in the basket it’ll be there for eternity. If it needs to be done it needs to be in my way or it won’t get done. If it’s packed away nicely then it will be forgotten…forever.

You're welcome!
"I love you so much" before telling him how you'd do it. This is marriage at it's finest. Loved this video
❤ U Cass,
Working with my husband is tough too, we are totally opposites, I don't know how we last together till now 😂😂😂
More like, "I love you so much but I won't listen to you and I'm shutting you up with 'I love you.'":/
Oh my word, your husband graciously appears in a video! ... with real-life arguing!
Big Hugs
I feel the same way Auntieyaya. I love them.
This is so relatable 😭❤️
This is so eye opening to me as someone who doesn’t have adhd, in being able to better understand how switching between motion and not moving aren’t easily switched. Helps with my son tremendously!
Yup me too
I recently at age 55 found out I have ADHD. I love the little brain hacks to trick & treat my brain!🖤
This is the most accurate description of my days off!
Especially the part about us being an object in motion, or at rest…not easily being able to switch between the two!
The accuracy is bang on!
LOL… you kill me Cass…too funny 😂. Joe is such a good sport
“The best way to build it, would be if I built it, and you cheered me on from two feet that way” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 haha that’s SO relatable!! 😂
My husband is the same, except he would want me to be two FLOORS away 😅
Me with literally building anything!😂😂 my man like “you need help?”😂😂 your company is all the help I need😂❤️
I love, "you do you, I'll do me" that really is how we compliment each other
I'm with Joe on the piles vs baskets.
Working with my husband on home remodeling was fun in the planning stages, but communication seemed to get garbled when things didn’t work out as envisioned and we had to switch gears ⚙️ and rethink 🤔
It’s like we were speaking a foreign language and couldn’t understand each other.
This was hysterical...he didn't even roll his eyes at you once...unless it was off-camera😂
👍😂❤🤣❤🤗
It was there in his subtle looks.
Yes, he did soooo well!
I have one of those shelves and it’s two stacks wide and I think each side has like seven slots. So helpful.
You two are FREAKING ADORABLE!!!!😂❤😂❤😂❤. Hehehe. I'm willing to bet he removed the labels once the video was done.
😂 me too!
I think Joe will learn to like the labels.. and ask for MORE labeled baskets🤣🤣
He actually seems really annoyed!
I think he removed the whole basket 😂
All that stuff came out of those baskets for sure. He wants to see the piles
Loved this❣️
As a recovering cricket perfectionist, i so relate to Joe’s struggle❣️❣️❣️
And one of my favorite sayings is “life is uncertain = eat dessert first❣️
The bottom line is that it's about respect on both sides. 🙏❤️🙏❤️
OMG, y'all going back and forth with each other... The sighing and yelling, everything is SOOOO relatable 😂😂😂 I love it!!
Hahaha! Watching you and Joe interact was great. Thanks for showing the awkwardness of even long-time marriage!
Yes!!! The struggle is real. And it doesn’t go away after 33 years of marriage. Why? Because we do not share a brain. Lol
Much love to you all ☮
I’m going to show this video to my husband and proclaim, “See! It’s not just us!” You two are adorable and all the eye rolls are so relatable! 😂😂
Yay! Thank you!
Yesss! Totally relatable. ❤❤❤❤❤
Cass, you and Joe are so cute, together!!
I really like when he helps, in your videos!!
Great transformation, in Joe's office! 😊 ❤
❤
She’s most likely watching you watch it. She will now be your helper on the other side, guiding and helping you with things like this. Sounds like you were a lot alike and very close friends. I’m sorry for your loss.
This is by far my favorite video. I do a lot of home projects with my husband as well. I've learned how to get my way by letting him think most of the ideas are his. 😉 All in good fun, and that's what's important. My frequent saying is always, "Babe, have I failed you yet?" He always says no, babe. ♥️
Team Joe ! He’s amazing - so handy. Glad he had his own space. Looks great
This was my fav video EVER!
Im grateful for Joe finally appearing in videos! Yayyyyy
Welcome back!
I love seeing Joe in video's. "You do you, I'll do me." Love it!!
I don’t know how we have been married for 53 years!! YES I DO! We don’t do very many joint projects!! I’m like Joe and I work at a 🐌 pace at 71 I don’t move very fast and I procrastinate so bad so now it takes me 6 months to even get started on a project and he works all day it takes me all day to do the necessary tasks so I think I’m just HOPLESS!!
hahaha Im so glad to see that Im not the only one that struggles doing big projects with my husband. The office looks great!
Like throw out the baskets and candle.
I look forward to every Clutterbug video. She inspires and motivates me to be a better wife, bonus mom, MiMi, and more.
What is a MiMi?
@@ellaohara9305 grandmother.

I love how REAL this was. I am both of you. ADHD will do that though.
Joe! You’re a handsome man! Thank you for
Putting yourself out there! My husband would never participate! You’re the man!
Congratulations on not ending up in divorce court! I am a cricket and he is "let's get this over with as fast as possible". When you stared into the camera gritting your teeth, that's me. LOL, I loved how you made it all work out! Great job on the room and your marriage!
Joe is a keeper!
You are hilarious and just what your hubby needs and vice versa. One of my favorite videos so far!❤
Thank you for the video😅 I’m a lot like him. “let me do it myself.” Too many people overwhelm me.
This is my favourite video! Absolutely loved seeing Joe and the dynamic between you two, made me smile the whole way through! 😊❤️😂
Totally a personal problem but this video stahhreesssedd me out. I couldn’t even finish it 😂 Maybe I can watch it later but the energy and dialogue just ratcheted my heart rate up. Hope the office turns out great! ❤
I loved its realness. Not whitewashed.
But yes, it turned out sooo beautiful and the video was so funny 🙂
I felt both, my husband I bicker like this 🤣 but watching other people bicker always triggers the inner conflict avoidant in me lol
It was cringy.

Jo looks like he's in pain, bless him thanks for sharing Jo 👍
Baskets and bins have ruined my life. LOL. They become a forgotten blackhole and nonsense. Respect to those who can utilize correctly!
You must be a bee or a butterfly and need things out and visual! I struggle with bins and baskets too
@@taylornotario9646 Seconded.
Cupboards with doors, and chests with drawers, are where things go to die. Even the salad drawer in the fridge is the veggie place of no return.
Lesley, butterfly. 🦋
I'm with Joe about the baskets. I do use them sometimes but I would not put my notebooks into one. I want them displayed
I love Joe!! I get him 😆. If I can't see something it's dead to me. Truly, he is a gem. Also I really like the wood top desk. I built something like that for myself. Hearts for Joe ❤️❤️❤️
Joe was the best part of the video. We need to see him more often. 💜
He doesn't like being on camera.
I'm so happy to be able to see you together, this is fantastic and how you are towards each other, in a funny way,
How brave!!!!!!!!!
What a great team 🎩
You kept trying to bill doze over Joe, and he was good about holding his line! You compliment each other!!
“He works at a snail’s pace”…he should’ve bought the turtle for his shelf! lol
I’m a minimalist and I think the room is complete! (Although I would have a few less books😂). I loved Joe’s idea of shopping the house and putting items in his office that are meaningful and not random decor items from the store. ❤️
Ha ha so glad I waited for the end 😆 can’t wait for the Cas and Joe garage episode
I absolutely love the videos with you and Joe together. My husband and I get so many laughs at how relatable your conversations are ♡
I loved this one!! You two are great together.
You guys are adorable! We could all use more Joe and Cas collaborations! Great work guys🎉❤
LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!
OMG, you guys are so cute together! My hubby and I are exactly the same. He’s slow and doesn’t want to get rid of anything. I’m like…let’s get it done and donate everything!
Your hubby has had many other projects in your home that he did. There are only so many hours in a day. He does great.
This was so entertaining, you guys' dynamic is so similar to me and my husband 😂
Love it.
You two need your own reality show!! I love this video so much!!
